It isn’t a 4 star hotel, the rooms are tiny and basic, no baths, the sink was stained, no water fountains on the floors, vending machine didn’t work, hole in the ceiling in the hallway of block 4, food basic and bland after the 3rd day knew what to expect each day. The staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were always polite and helpful, but I will not be returning. The rooms need to be updated.

The food is horrible. It's freezing and repetitive. It got to a point where we just had to start ordering food to the hotel. The food looks appetising. Its a red flag when the staff are constantly collecting plates full of left over food. Simply make the food hotter and add some seasoning. It's not that hard.

They only have pepsi and not coke.

There's no umbrellas or any kind of shade at the pools.

The hotel is up a steep hill. Its about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus. Nothing around the hotel, you have to go to the neighbouring towns.

I would be in no hurry to return.

Nice hotel, 3 nights, comfy room with huge balcony, high quality bedding you just love to wrap yourself in. Early March stay, pool was heated to 24C I was told, still a bit cold, but \"refreshing\". We didn't use nearby beach, wasn't that inviting - instead we drove to man made gorgeous beach Amadores - best on the island. The only thing - food was okay, but a bit bland tasting. Maybe because of the many children guests, but would appreciate more flavour, more \"zing\", perhaps more variety (at times only cut up oranges in the fruits section...but that papaya we got on 2 occasions was fantastic). Free Pepsi, etc sodas, pour your own red-rose-white- sangria wine, beer.

Great all inclusive but crap after service.

On arrival we were asked for a credit or debit card, which is usual. We had £43 go out on pending straight away. This charge stayed pending fora full week. Even though we only stayed 3 nights. When we tried to contact the hotel by email we got no reply. After 2 telephone call’s a week later it disappeared. Got to say the hotel is the best all inclusive for food and drink I have stayed at. Always something available. We stayed in block 5, which looks like it needs an upgrade but it was clean. We had a fridge that was warm but just went out for drinks.

Excellent Hotel but some shade would be nice.

I had an excellent time during my stay, though was disappointed with the unadvertised charge of 50EURO deposit that had to be paid upon arrival. There were occasions where the food left a lot to be desired though for the price I believe it was adequate.
The biggest problem by far was the lack of parasols or shade areas around the pool, other than a few wooden shades dotted around the complex there was no other shelter from the sun.

A great place to stay

The Abora is a great place to stay and so well looked after. The staff are helpful, friendly and everyone will stop to say hello and assist you. The rooms are spotless, and well equipped, the communal areas are excellently maintained, and the pools are uncongested with plentiful sunbeds around the pools and throughout the gardens. The entertainment is ok, with the evening entertainment needing some improvement, but the team were great throughout our stay. As we were All Inclusive, the food was good, and the self service areas excellent throughout the full 24 hour period at reception and until 11pm at the pool bar. The buffet meals were good with plenty of choices.
This really is an excellent place to stay, albeit distant from the main centres of San Augustin and Playa Del Ingles, but with the service and facilities, there is really not much of a need to go there anyway.
We hope to return again next year.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel was extremely accomodating and the food was excellent with plenty of choices. Our son loved the pool and a beach was within a ten minute walk (there was also a hote shuttle that would take to a farther beach and back if you wanted, we just didn’t use that one). Totally recommend.

Food was okay, plenty of different choices to suit all types. Staff were great, very polite and professional. Room Accomodation could do with an upgrade although it was clean and tidy. Beds were a little hard.

Selection of different languages for watching the television. Ample entertainment during the day and evening in the bar.

I would recommend this property. Already looking to book for next summer.

All staff were so friendly and very happy to help. Everywhere on the complex was spotlessly clean. The entertainment staff were fab and so enthusiastic. The food was plentiful and amazing selection. The swimming pools were immaculate. We would definitely go there again and would'nt hesitate to recommend it

A very windy location with not much within walking distance. Nice staff and good sports facilities with table tennis, tennis, pool, football pitch, basket and beach volleyball.

Don´t like the all inclusive concept so I´m probably not the target customer. But I wouldnt recommend to anyone that want to spend time outside the hotel for meals, beach etc.

All inclusive \"Good value for money\" well worth it for what you get !!

-Tidy Complex,with plenty to do to pass the time away without the need of spending further cash if you dont wish to,or if you do wish to get out & treat yourself to day trips out,loads to do,marlin boat fishing,dolphin watching,hire of bicycles all of which are not badly priced & value for money. well worth getting on a bike to get around or hop on a bus, depends on how active or not you happen to be, there are a lot of hills & good path ways along the beach & off the main highways to use safely away from fast moving traffic if you care to walk instead.

-Food & drink free & on tap all day long, always able to find some scooby snack to munch what ever was presented & on offer, bit of of bonus.( I've had better But I've also had alot lot worse) its a pretty good deal as I found you wont get dinner / a snack at a restaurant for two for much less than 25-35 Euros with a beverage of coffee of beer included,add that up in a day multiple it by the week & the number of persons & yes...The IFA Interclub Atlantic Hotel is differently the way to go.

-There is a local spar shop at the bottom of the road, very handy.

NOTE - You well pay over the odds for almost everything you buy food, drinks, clothes,as like all typical tourist holidays. (but it may also be because of it being an island having to pay the premium for importing of certain goods i.e. the usual brands, you'll know the ones,Jack Daniel's,Smirnoff,Bombay Sapphire. Personally I think they are taking advantage off the Euro.

Too far away

This hotel is too far from local bars and shops,k it is a good 30 minutes walk to the beach.

The hotel animation team provided all day entertainment which was fantastic.

The restaurant provided a wide range of meals and the meals were really well presented and served up.

The bar was poor as only served local spirits in small measures and only allowed 2 drinks at anyone time.

The reception staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful especially the female member of staff.

I would only go back to this hotel to see the animation team who pretty much made my holiday.

Whilst I accept that this hotel was only a 3-star, I thought the in-room facilities were poor. For a country so close to the Equator, not having even a fan in the room made the stay uncomfortable. The telivision was from the 90's and frequently stopped working and there wasn't even tea and coffee making facilities which meant paying over the odds for a bottle of water every time you were thirsty. To pay to 'rent' an old safe in the room felt like a petty annoyance and the existence of twin beds rather than a double added to this feeling.

The grounds of the hotel were fine, but whilst there they were repairing the pool so the sound of drilling was going on constantly

Its not super luxury but this place does offer excellent value, plenty of good food, beautiful gardens and lovely pools.
Clean, tidy and well maintained.
Good bus services nearby - about 10/15 mins walk to the bus stops.
Just take note that the hotel is located high above the beach so there is always an uphill walk when returning!

Vi hadde et fint opphold. Maten var veldig lik hver dag, men bra utvalg. Det som trekker oppholdet veldig ned var at vi måtte betale 67 euro for å vaske 12 klesplagg på hotellet. Det lå en liste på rommet som vi skulle krysse av på, men den var ikke lett å forstå og de som vasket rommet snakket bare spansk! Det er helt utrolig at de tar så mye for å vaske klær! Det burde spesifiseres mer da det står at man har mulighet for å vaske klær på hotellet!

Overall the hotel is definitely for families and is children friendly. Apart from a nice little beach there’s not much in walking distance away the area. This is the first time we’ve tried an all inclusive style hotel and after a couple of days the food/menu started to feel like the same dishes, so if you like verity then it’s not for you. Finding people are not always courteous(multiple hands reaching in at once) even though the trays were always stocked. The pool areas and entertainment was really fun. The top bar was convenient and always had hot food. Room was a good size but felt outdated. The bed was not great, 2 singles put together to make a double(but they had rollers on the legs that don’t look so any small movement would make the beds come apart) checking in and out was easy and quick. Disappointing that when we booked there was a gym but by the time we got there they had removed it??

Fantastisk barnevennlig område, fine bassengområder. Som forventet litt kaldt i bassengene på morningen, men de blir bedre utover dagen.
Lekeområdet var veldig fint for barna.
Rommene var ok+. Dusj/vask er litt slitt. Sengene er enkeltsenger satt sammen, så de sklir fort fra hverandre.

Maten er dessverre det mest negative med hotellet. All inclusive er fint, men variasjonen i maten er veldig liten og maten var ganske smakløs.
Alt i alt så er dette et bra hotell!

Saimme huoneen, joka oli keskellä käytävää. Kun ihmiset liikkuivat huoneisiinsa, kaikki äänet kantautuivat huoneeseen koska ovi oli kaikkea muuta kuin äänieristetty. Nukkumisesta ei tullut mitään.
Lapsista nuorimmainen sai vatsataudin viimeisenä päivänä, uskon että puhdistus ei ollut ruokalassa paras mahdollinen eikä käsidesiä esim ollut missään.
Huono kokemus ja ruoka keskinkertaista pakaste-einestä.

Store rom med gode senger. Fint bad og stor garderobe. Vannkoker og minikjøleskap på rommet.
Stor matsal hvor man alltid finner ledig bord. Rikt utvalg av mat og drikke. Masse frukt, desserter og kaker til alle måltider.
Flere bassenger og nok solsenger.
Stor og fin park inne på hotellområdet.
Kort vei (156 trappetrinn eller ca 10 minutts gange) til fantastisk stranpromenade og fin strand.

Det jeg finner negativt er at kaffen i matsalen er kun til frokost (men det er grei kaffe i lobbyen og i bassengbaren resten av dagen) Noe av maten er lite krydret og noe kjøtt er litt tørt (men det står krydder på bordene og det er alltid mange gode sauser)
Bassengene kunne gjerne vært varmere

Hade läst en del negativa recensioner om hotellet innan så var beredd på att det var högljutt i restaurangen- det stämde verkligen. Stort utbud av mat men dessvärre i princip samma mat både till lunch och middag. Vi bodde bara två nätter men hann trötta redan och maten var ganska smaklös. Trevlig personal som var snabba att plocka bort från borden och hålla runt på golven. Toppenbra med poolvakter som hade koll med vattenrutschkanorna så det skedde på ett säkert och kontrollerat sätt. Dessa rutschkanor var roliga både för barn och vuxna. Stort och bra poolområde för solsängarna så man slapp tampas med personerna som hänger på låset varje morgon för att tinga solsängar runt poolen. Tycker att hotellet bör ta bort dessa handdukar när det görs varje morgon om de går iväg - vilket 95% av alla gör. Väldigt halkigt runt poolen med klinker - borde göras på ett säkrare sätt. Allt kändes ändå rent och fräscht- både hotellet i stort och rummen även om det var väldigt lyhört i rummen och man hörde både från korridor, andra rum och utifrån. Underhållning till kl 23:00 och det lät som de stod 20 meter från rummet.

Preis-Leistung stimmt hier vollkommen. Neu renovierte saubere Zimmer schöne Anlage, man findet immer was zum Essen. Für Familien die nach einem soliden Urlaub suchen super.

La perpectiva que tenemos del personal no es buena, no de todo el personal. Ya que los de animación fueron nuy buenos y una señora del minibar de la piscina. Pero el personal de recepción y algun otro no nos parecio el mas indicado.

Hemos disfrutado y descansado. Habitación cómoda y nada ruidosa, como pedimos. Se agradece que disponga de aire acondicionado.
El servicio Todo Incluido es de lujo. Muchas variedad y calidad.
El entretenimiento también está muy bien.
La playa de San Agustín está a pocos minutos caminando.
Muy recomendable. Repetiría.

El personal del restaurante y las carpeteras muy muy amables (maravillosos), pero el resto: zonas de disfrute del hotel, animación, zonas de alimentos o bebidas después de las 11 de la noche, etc., muy mal! Y lo peor de todo la playa extremadamente lejos y el hotel no ofrece todas las miles de opciones que pudiera gestionar y organizar para ir y regresar de las playas en varios horarios del día, solo dos veces y a playas mucho más lejos.

Très satisfait de notre séjour. Tellement qu’on a demandé à prolonger d’une semaine mais ils n’avaient aucune disponibilité avant un certain temps.
L’eau de la piscine était très agréable.
Le restaurant était plutôt bon mais pas très varié.
Le personnel était sympa et les animateurs cool.
L’ambiance était très appréciable.
Deux bemols, très compliqué de trouver une place facilement ou de se garer très près de l’hôtel. Présence de cafards en assez grand nombre. Ils passent par l’aération.
Au final, environ 260€ par nuit pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants de 3 ans et 1 an, on a vraiment apprécié mais ça reste cher.

We genieten altijd van ons verblijf op deze locatie. We komen er buite het hoogseizoen. Er is dan genoeg ruimte, rust en gezelligheid. Kamer zijn schoon. Personeel is vriendelijk. Eten is goed zeker voor een all inclusief.
