One night stopover

My husband loves anything to do with airplanes. This was such a great place for him. Parachutes coming down right in front of us. Glider planes soaring through the valley. Lovely little town with a fabulous grocery store that I could spend a lot of time in.
The staff at the hotel were kind and friendly to us two old American senior citizens. I recommend the continental breakfast in the morning.

Comfortable and good airfield access.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a disappointment. Lots of pastries but that was it. Luckily there was an excellent supermarket next door. Perfect for airfield access.

Nice hotel with really welcoming and friendly staff especially Dennis - nicely located to watch the paragliders and goings on at the little airport within easy walking distance - we took the bus into gap - watch the times as there’s only a couple a day ! Otherwise you’d need to drive as it’s busy

Website is misleading. Pix make believe this is almost a resort type, with large rooms. Room was small, lights not working. Very nice, friendly staff.... Somewhat disappointing.

What an amazing find. Doesn’t look much from outside but would definitely stay again. Made very welcome. Excellent restaurant and added bonus of a live band on Friday nights. Easy walk into town through country lanes. Good choice of bars and eateries in the town but the hotel restaurant was very good.Great start to our holiday

Ideal hotel for either flying activities at the aerodrome or as a base for visiting the surrounding area.
Friendly staff, room kept clean & nice outside pool with sunbathing area.

Airport motel

When we finally found this hotel/motel we realized that it really was located beside the local airstrip. It reminded us of a North American motel. It was a very very basic room, fairly clean (was leery of the carpeting)
Could hear other guests.... not terribly soundproofed.
Parking included (a plus)
Nowhere to go without a car (except the airport)
Breakfast ok.

This is the hotel I WANT TO BE BACK!!!!

Very important for me - strong bed (not soft and "jumpy" as mostly of them in USA), soft and warm blanket and quite around. I slept as a baby. The most romantic and attracting "rosin" is aroma of bushes, when I came out on balcony. I made 20 min breathing exercises - no comments of my happiness!

Cela fait 3 ans que nous nous y rendons. Nous sommes toujours très bien accueillis par William et ses équipes. Les abords de la piscine ont été refait et le cadre est toujours aussi agréable.

Nice quiet place.
Near main road Gap-Sisteron.
Walking distance from supermarket.
Close to Airfield, Parachuters, Paragliders etc. - but hardly any airplane noise.

Balcony: 1st floor nice balcony - very quiet to relax

Be aware of reception times. Need your Code to come in - also in afternoon.

Très belle chambre, très grand lit, très propre, joli jardin, petite terrasse perso appréciable mais vis à vis, cependant piscine extérieure (le petit plus chauffée à 27 degrés) dispo seulement de 10h30 et non à partir de 8h comme indiqué sur le site.
Très appréciable de pouvoir arriver après 20 h, le réceptionniste vous laisse les consignes pour accéder à votre chambre quelque soit votre heure d arrivée.
Bon petit déjeuner varié.
Parfait pour un saut en parachute ( 1minute à pied de l aerodrome), station essence et petit resto bar sympa à 1 minute également.
