I loved my stay at Hotel de la Poste! The staff was very welcoming and remembered me every time I walked by. They provided great recommendations on restaurants and were so helpful.

The location is perfect since it is directly in the center of the city and right next to the bus stop. It serves as a perfect landmark.

The room was perfect for a solo traveler like me and I liked the historic nature of the place. Room was clean and was cozy.

I would stay here again the next time
I am in Cortina. Highly recommend!

It was a good hotel but in need of an update. Some might find the double doors and the old fashioned room key charming, but it was a pain to lock and unlock the door. I also couldn’t shower without getting water everywhere ( typical European bathroom with a hand held hose and no shower curtain).
It was extremely clean and the staff were amazing. The location was perfect - right on the Corso d’Italia. It did get a bit noisy at night due to the bar across the street. But it wasn’t too bad. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

If you are driving, the parking is very confusing. I arrived at the hotel right before 6, but it took me about an hour to figure out the parking. There is an unmarked gate that you are supposed to pull up to, then call the hotel and they will open and meet you out there, then you pull into the square where people are walking all over and you drop off your bags. If you miss this gate, you are stuck in a loop (and with there being traffic, each loop took me 20 minutes). I didn’t know about this the first time, then the second time another hotel was parked at the gate, so I missed it again. The third time I found the gate and did it, and then after dropping my bags and checking in, I had to do the loop again to park in their free parking lot. It was A LOT to figure out on the fly. I didn’t see any mention of this parking situation with any of the information they sent me, so it was a bit annoying.

Once I figured it out, everything else about the hotel was great!

Staff at front desk exceptional, old school gentlemen and make sure you get car service and any directions. Hotel is the center of the town and people come to gather there which makes it a great location. Bus takes you straight from hotel to mountain.

Hotel de la Post in Cortina was a wonderful place to stay. It was physically charming, but was so special were the staff. From the head concierge to the house cleaning staff everyone was so friendly and helpful. We hope to return and will highly recommend it to friends who want to travel to the Dolomites!

Beautiful hotel, awesome location, outstanding breakfast. The distinguished gentleman at the reception desk was welcoming and somehow remembered my name. He was the best concierge I've ever met in decades of travel. Just a heads-up that it's not possible to get into a Cortina restaurant without a reservation, even at the hotel.

The hotel itself is very beautiful. And very cute. Staff were nice; room was very very hot and had to open the window to cool down, however bars nearby were very lively into the night and made it difficult to sleep. Place was clean. Bathroom had a tub only, could not take shower as there was no shower curtain. Parking was free, but was difficult to find the lot (though only a 3 minute walk to hotel in the end). The concierge who checked us in forgot to give us the button to get into the parking lot- so we got stuck in front of it for 10 minutes before having to run back to the hotel to ask for help. The breakfast which was included in our stay was quite good overall.

let me start by saying this review is based on value, not how super duper fancy the hotel was. ok so the hotel is old.. and yes, there are certain things you get from an old structure. you get uniqueness and coziness. but you also get old plumbing. so yes the bathtub doesn’t have a curtain (nor any sort of barrier that keeps the water in the tub), but the water pressure will blow your doors off and the staff is genuinely top notch and super sweet and they will be happy the mop up the big puddle of water outside the tub each morning. seriously i loved the staff. they were super helpful with all my questions on navigating the dolomites and where the parking lot was (this was a bit sarcastic as the parking lot was quite difficult to find even after parking there for 3 days). but look, this is the least expensive hotel in town (at least it was when i booked) and i had a very comfortable experience there. great location, great staff, great price. definitely recommend if you’re looking for a (close to) 4-star hotel at 3-star price.

Interaction and customer service was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional by hotel staff.

My fiance and I sat down at the bar, while being given permission (by the waiter) to have two slices of Pizza which we brought with us. However, Giovanni spoke extremely rudely to us, demanding to leave if we didn't purchase a drink. He then ran to the concierge to report on us. I never saw anyone speaking to my woman in such a tone and with such ill manners, screaming like we did something horrible, while all we wanted to do is to finish pizza in 5min and go upstairs to our room. We were verbally attacked, and never felt like that before. The bar was empty, and it was a really bizzare treatment.

We travel for more than 4 months a year and never encountered rundess of this magnitude, and it a shame that your staff put the Manaigo family in such light of extreme discourtesy, lack of manners and impoliteness.

Stay away and do not stay in hotel de la poste

It is not clear why the hotel was given a high score by previous visitors. We stayed there for 3 nights. In the room: 1) no air conditioner 2) no refrigerator 3) no kettle or coffee machine for drinking 4) no water bottle for guests. I asked the reception and received a strange answer: \"No one in our hotel has one\" but in the hallway I saw that the maid had taken out a kettle from a nearby room... 5) The bathtub in the bathroom is very narrow, rounded at the bottom and slippery and very dangerous without grip handles in case of slipping. We are an elderly couple and could they offer a room with a shower. Dining room: 1) Very few products 2) Sausage with a spoiled taste 3) Dry omelet with a strange taste 4) The next day we arrived at the dining room at 8:30 when the meal ends at 10:00 and there was no juice, no omelet and no sausages. We were told by the waiters impatiently that there was a large group before and they finished everything !! It is strange ! 5) Coffee is prepared only by the waiters and they move around and only arrange tables. It is not clear what needs to be arranged in orderly tables. Why not fill in missing products? Why not offer coffee to diners? And why not make coffee? 6) Are the waiters running around and yelling at each other? Too bad. Parking: five minutes away from the hotel because all the streets in the settlement are one-way and the hotel charges 20 euros for a parking lot that they have in the hotel itself. The room was extremely clean and well kept. The maid service was amazing! The concierge was so friendly and helpful. The lounge is a very happening bar scene in the evenings with a DJ playing music! I lost my wallet while walking around the town and the concierge posted on the Cortina Facebook page and was noticed it had been turned into the police station. He personally walked us there to get it and it was completely in tact. Nothing taken. Great service from the concierge!

The customer service was fantastic! Overall, while the bed was a bit uncomfortable, the hotel was great and the service was absolutely superlative. When I explained that my room was a bit loud, the staff immediately upgraded me to a more accommodating and quieter room. The staff was genuinely friendly and eager to make my stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the prices were exceptionally reasonable.

Single en-suite room was spacious with wardrobe, desk and two chairs. The en suite bathroom was also spacious with a bath and hand held shower attachment. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of cereals, fruits, seeds, etc.etc.... All in all a great place to stay.

Elegance With a View In the Center of Cortina

This is a great place to be if you want to be in the center of the action. We were treated very well and stayed in a room with a balcony and a view of the surrounding mountains. I would stay here again in the future as there really is no better location in Cortina as for being within walking distance of all the restaurants and shopping. Our room was on the corner of the hotel and we had great views out to the plaza and to the surrounding mountains. The hotel is an elegant old world style place with wide corridors and surfaces of beautiful wood and marble. The included breakfast was a very good buffet style with personal service for Cappuccinos etc. You can take the breakfast either on the terrace or in the beautiful dining room. The man at the front desk was very nice to us and helpful with the free parking and selecting a great room for us. We will be back for skiing.

Nice hotel, right in center of town

I would definitely stay here again. For a single room, it was pretty big. Only complaint is that there wasn't a shower curtain over the tub. So it was difficult stand up for a show and not get water all over the bathroom. Breakfast was good!

too expensive for the size and comfort of the room

booked a 2 bed room (king + twin bed) room but when we arrived (late night check-in) the room was not available. 'software issues' was the excuse and they were pretty booked because they did host an ice-curling event on that weekend. They were nice and helpful and finally we got a twin bed room which worked for the night. But it was a much smaller room and much less comfort considering what we had paid for. We did not get any refund except for free parking in the hotel garage (22EUR/day). That's a rip-off provided the 220EUR we paid per night for a room little larger than that twin bed.
People were nice and helpful that's why I rate them 2/5.

Great hotel, fantastic staff

Really enjoyed our stay in this very charismatic hotel with lots of history. The location is just brilliant and the staff are fantastic. Lorenzo the concierge really made our stay, he couldn't have been more helpful and did everything for us from booking restaurants to ski lessons and arranging our transfers. The breakfast is also great. Will definitely stay again in our next trip to Cortina.

This is one of the historical hotels in Italy. It is indeed a nice hotel but is like opening a door into the 70s. If you like that style is the place for you. Breakfast is good, rooms are decent but smallish and the Wi.Fi. works just about. Very good concierge service. It is located in the hearth of Cortina which is its huge plus

From the friendly welcome to the fantastic whirlpool bath everything was excellent. The bar was friendly with staff who spoke perfect english. The dining room was gracious and sumptuous at the same time, and the breakfast absolutely perfect, with a wide choice of things including exotic fruit. I shall definitely return next year with friends- or if I get a chance even this year.

El La poste es un hotel antiguo pero ubicado en el centro de Cortina de Ampezzo. Por lo mismo con múltiples para comer y bien ir de compras. Su comedor es excelente y el desayuno muy bueno. Lo único es que los cuartos ya se sienten antiguos y requieren remodelación

Centrally located in the center of Cortina. Hotel is rustic in a good way, and all in all gives feelings of “good old days”. Service was across the board unusually good, caring, professional and friendly. If I had the guess, people have been working here for decades and kept good care of. While hotel hasn’t gone through a major renovation recently, it has been well maintained and somehow the old fashioned decoration adds to the “good old days” atmosphere. Also breakfast was on the better side of what’s typically available in Italian hotels in this category. All in all a delightful experience.

Many aspects still leave a \"meh\" feeling after staying at this hotel: wifi was very slow, facilities are I think the very historic ones (so I slept in a bed 50 years old?) including furniture. Shower: good, but not having a glass in the bathtub makes a mess when showering. I had to ask for shampoo (not available at my room) and later I understood they should have also left bath salts, which were not left after I flagged I had no shampoo. Breakfast: after a big big group came at 7am and ate everything, we waited until 7:50 but food was not replenished. There was a big group of (evidently beyond tipsy) noisy travelers playing music over a big Bluetooth speaker at the lobby, and they were allowed to keep their behavior. Food options in the neighborhood: too many pricey food options and not really looking tasty. I had to explain twice I was offered a bottle of wine for free via Expedia, which only ended up being accepted after I showed the confirmation on my app. Price was not up to par to: services offered, breakfast quality (and availability).

The location is good, the parking is convenient, and the breakfast is okay, but I felt bad because of the short female employee wearing glasses who didn't bring coffee for 2 days at the breakfast restaurant. I know for sure what racism is.

2023年7月18日（火）～3泊、50代夫婦で宿泊。ボルツァーノからレンタカーで到着。コルティナダンペッツォの中心地にあってとても便利。駐車場はホテルから徒歩3分程度の野っぱら、無料。部屋については基本快適なのですが、お湯がなかなか出なかったこと、バスタブと洗面の間仕切りにシャワーカーテンも扉もないのでシャワーするのが超難しいことがマイナス評価です。。。あと、1€＝161円精算の時期でもあって、1泊／1室／朝食付き、約40,000円超は、自分達には贅沢過ぎました。。。
