The hotel vedrooms were clean but no soundproofing...so hard to sleep soundly. Could hear conversations from other rooms.

Corridors had a stale smell. Lobby carpets needed a deep clean/refurbishment.

Great Hotel in Figueres

I spent one night at the hotel and was delighted with the spacious room, cleanliness, and jacuzzi bath in the bathroom! The room also had a balcony, and if required, aircon/heating.

The breakfast buffet was very good - plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes, juices and hot drinks.

The only improvement would be to add a shower curtain to the bath, as it was difficult to shower without spilling water, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Hold your breath through the lobby, but good

It is a comfortable hotel close ro the old town and museums, and mid-way between the two railway stations. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The only problem is rhw scent diffuser that pollutes the lobby with perfume that induces headaches. It is diagusting. Hold your breath and run through the lobby.

El personal del hotel es una maravilla desde que llegamos hasta que salimos estuvieron al pendiente de nosotros, nos preguntaban si todo estaba bien si necesitábamos algo más, la chica del desayuno súper atenta y la Dominicana en la recepción un encanto!! Excelente servicio. Camas cómodas, buen desayuno, parqueo fácil y la ubicación céntrica (7 minutos a pie del museo Dali) Muy recomendado!!

Very beautiful place with big rooms and a lot of space to relax. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices of meats, cheeses, yogurts, veggies, fruits, eggs and other staff. Availability of parking made our lives much easier. The center and all attractions are on walking distance.

Hotel location good, has elevator. Big problem is water pressure. In busy morning no cold water and in evening no hot water. Had to shower about 3pm. Nice town, other hotels in area are in louder part of downtown.

The hotel itself is ok but I had no internet connection during my whole stay and I needed it for working... it is not a cheap hotel for having this issue. I ended up working on the lobby, which was noisy and with a lot of people passing by, so nothing private. I would NOT come back

I walked into the Hotel - it was like a ghost house, upon entering I asked if anybody was here, I waited more than 5 minutes - still no response. I needed an answer quick as we couldn't find the hotel parking, we were forced to park the car in another carpark and then come back to the hotel. Poor service. Mini fridge on the floor - no complementary water, overall very dilapidated hotel.

Stylish hotel in Figueres

The President was a bit hard to find at first and we ended up going round the one way system several times. After check in we opted for the hotel carpark which was safe and convenient. The hotel decor is fantastic and staff are helpful. President is located only a few minutes from the town centre and Dali museum and has a few restaurants nearby. Our room was a little small but comfortable beautifully styled, as were the corridors and public areas. We loved the jacuzzi bath tub in particular.

Wow wow wow! This place was immaculate and such a value! (Perhaps because we visited in the off-season). The room was incredibly comfortable, we especially loved the balcony to watch the sunset, the service was super friendly, and the breakfast buffet offerings were immense! Location was very close to the city center too! Parking was very convenient, however be aware that it's €10 a night.

Great stop for visiting the Salvador Dali museum

Nice modern hotel with influences of Salvador Dali on the interior decoration. Room was well laid out although slightly small for a double. Bed was very comfortable, there was also a small jacuzzi bath and good air con. The basement parking was good value and the breakfast was the best we had had on our trip. Very convenient location for visiting the museum and for bars and restaurants. Excellent stay.

OK hotel for the lcoation

We spent a night here to visit the Dali museum. We were a bit disappointed given what we had seen in the recommendation. The room was clean but it was very cramped. The water temperature was also very erratic when showering. I thought that our reservation had included parking but was told when I got there that it did not. They don't even have a place to park long enough to get checked in and unload your luggage. I ended up parking in a deck across the street and down the block.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! lots of choices for a delicious and filling breakfast. It was in walking distance to the Dali Museum. Also- don't miss the jewelry exhibit at the Dali Museum. This made for a nice and easy get away from Barcelona. Just a short train trip and worth the visit.

I stayed for three nights en route to Southern Spain. One pays €10 extra for a magnificent breakfast and €10 for underground parking (which is cheaper than the public car park opposite). The staff were very friendly and helpful and speak French very well and English well enough, for those who speak no Spanish. Overall, excellent value.

Although conveniently located, this hotel was very out of date. Mattresses were terrible, and the internet was intermittent at best. Breakfast however was good. Felt like we paid a lot for very little. Probably would not return to this hotel.

A great deal and lots of Spanish character! I made a last-minute booking for this hotel and wasn't sure what to expect even though the other reviews were quite positive. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of my room. It was a nice blend of older charm and modern amenities. Very clean. Even more, this hotel is only a few minutes walk to the plazas, restaurants/bars, and Dali museum.

The President hotel is near to the tourist sites and within walking distance of the station; it is very well serviced. Hard to improve on. At lunch a very fine Menu del Dia is served, way and above the usual standard for such meals. We commented on its excellence especially the wine and were told that the King of Spain dined there when he was in Figurues. He did not however eat the Menu del Dia!

The air conditioning wall unit in the room was very weak. Our stay was not during hot weather, so I'd imagine that in the summertime, the room would be very uncomfortable.

Otherwise, the staff answered questions, looked for and found a needed electrical extension, and were informative.

We did not use the \"in house\" restaurant.

This hotel is a healthy walk from the train/bus station(10min tops), but not something you wouldn't expect in Europe. The walk is through town so you don't get bored. The service is excellent, the room was spacious and clean, even the prices at the restaurant downstairs were reasonable for a hotel. It is lovely decorated. It is close to the museums and downtown(3 blocks). The beds were firm, the bathroom spacious and clean w/shower and sink. Nice closet with space, and a small living room. It is what I expected for the price.

Pour s'enregistre à l'accueil nous avons fait la queue une heure. La femme à l'accueil désagréable.
Impossible d'acceder au parking gratruit. J'ai dû payer 19 euros sans autres explications. C'est de l'arnaque. Ils ne préviennent pas les clients.

La chambre est impeccable et spacieuse et propre. Le buffet est varié et bien garni. Je ne recommanderai pas cet hôtel.
