Ibis styles was a great find. We stayed here twice on our drive further down into Spain and back again. The staff were really nice both times, the hotel is clean and modern and the rooms are nice and spacious. We had dinner on our first stay and the food was good. The only drawback was when we sat outside there was an unpleasant smell coming from outside the hotel, so not their fault! But there was also plenty of seating inside too. I would definitely come here again if I needed to stay in the area.

Yolanda was super friendly and helpful, we spoke French which was easier for her to understand, but her English was much better than our Spanish, LOL. So, our Franglais was a good compromise. She gave us a map of Figueres and offered us tips on where it is safer to walk, and where it was safer to take a taxi (average 12€ - 15€) to all locations around town. It cost around 14€ to go from the train station to Ibis Styles Ronda. Overall, the check-in experience was very helpful and professionally handled.

Good room... poor terrace restaurant service.

Welcoming at the réception is good. Room also no problem. But do not expect anything from the level of service of their young waiter at the terrace. A fast food restaurant does better ... either order everything at once at the beginning of your meal, or if you want a desert at the end, you'll be answered to go and get the menu yourself at the bar...... A whole new education to be done!

We stayed here to visit the Dali museum. This is a 15-20 minute walk away, largely along a rather barren road until the town centre is reached. The hotel room was plain, with no nice outlook. The aircon in our first room didn't work, but we were quickly moved to another room where everything worked. However the hotel is easy to find, the room was comfortable, there is an attractive restaurant, good food and service, and there is off-street parking (some covered) controlled by a boom gate.

Easy to find, easy and free parking, great breakfast buffet, convenient location. Helpful and well informed staff at reception. Figueres is easy to navigate and has a lot to offer. From the hotel, it takes 15 minutes to walk to the AMAZING Dali Museum and the interesting toy museum. This hotel is convenient for trips to Rosas, Cadaques, Portlligat (casa de Dali). The Parque Natural de Cap de Creus is well worth a visit, take your walking boots for hikes. The hotel is near a busy roundabout and you can't really sleep with windows open. The clientele (June 2018) is mainly international and mature. People stay at the hotel with their dogs, which seems fitting for Figueres: I have never been to a town with so many dog parlours!

Nice new hotel for a great price. Easy 20 minute walk from hotel to the main part of town, Lots of fun small shops.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Check in and out was smooth and they let us leave the car in the neighboring parking, since the parking around the hotel was full when we arrived, for free, which was a great bonus! They also have a paid underground parking. The hotel is walking distance to all the attractions and is a 20 min drive from the beach in Empuriabrava. The really nice surprise was the breakfast. They had a reasonable amount of choice and everything we tried tasted very good. I just wish they had black tea such as English breakfast (they did have Earl Grey) but that may be too much to ask. Wifi worked well and was free. The room was a good size and had a big wonderful balcony. However, the furniture is dated, there is no fridge or coffee maker in the room, no safe and cleanliness could be improved. We found two long hairs, one on the towel and one on the sink when we just got to the room. The shower pressure was great, but unfortunately we had to turn off the air conditioning while showering, since that blew the shower curtain away from the tub, which made the water spill on the floor like crazy. Also, the walls were paper thin and all the sounds could be heard as if happening in your room. The area was quiet and so were the guests, so at night it wasn't a problem but in the morning you could hear the people talking in the corridor at 6am (our room was close to the elevator). Overall we had a good stay in this hotel but there are definitely things that need improvement.

This is a really nice hotel in an excellent location, especially if driving in to Figueres from the motorway. Parking right outside. Easy to walk into the centre.

Our room was lovely, with a large balcony and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. An excellent choice in a very nice town.

Delightful Surprise!

We liked this hotel so much we stayed there on our way to France and on our return to Spain a week later. Everything about the hotel was lovely, clean, modern and staff excellent. Spoke several languages and were extremely helpful, even printing out a train schedule for us for both stations which serviced different types of train travel, so we could review before arriving at the station to purchase tickets. The restaurant was first rate with dishes well prepared with the freshest ingredients. Next time we visit Figueres or are passing through, we will make a return stay!

Nice hotel short walk from centre and Dali museu

My family and I booked 4 rooms at this hotel over Christmas and had a fantastic room rate including breakfast. Staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. Very pleasant clean rooms with en suites and balconies. We especially liked the huge mushroom-head showers over the bath which had great pressure. Free wi-if with good reception. We ate in the restaurant once during our stay and all of us enjoyed our meals. I would be very happy to return to this hotel when returning to Figueres and would recommend to all who don't mind a 15 min walk to the centre.

Nice newly-fitted bathroom BUT the washbasin, mounted on top of the counter, was too high for easy use and the magnifying mirror was unusable for anyone shorter than 5'6\".

Cheap hotel while visiting Dali Museum

This was an inexpensive hotel, offering free wifi and free breakfast. The room was comfy enough, but the walls were paper thin. We could hear the people in the rooms on either side snoring and other things. The breakfast was quite good, the staff very friendly with the exception of the dark haired woman at the front desk. Was within walking distance of the Dali Museum, but had to use a taxi to get to the train station.

A convenient place to stay in Figueres. I would agree with another commenter that the restaurant isn't the best. In hindsight, I would have skipped the restaurant but there are not many alternative options at night. Very friendly staff. Parking available. Only true negative is the same as with other budget hotels: uncomfortable mattresses. No better or worse than other similar hotels.

The only down side would be that there is no fridge or iron in the rooms.
The location is good.
We only stayed for a couple of nights as we had a wedding nearby. But I would stay there again.

Stylish public rooms. Hotel rooms was sufficient and clean but lacking in a wall holder for the shower - makes washing hair tricky and a sink that was not conducive to any more than cleaning teeth. Free parking is a real boon - get a barrier token when you want to leave. We made ourselves a bit unpopular arriving at the barrier and holding everyone up whilst one was procured. Breakfast was fine and it is good to sit outside in the morning sun. The walk into town is not too pretty but it only takes about 5 minutes so it is convenient.

Great Hotel in a great location.

Hotel Ronda is a very nice Hotel. I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked through the door. The staff are all very friendly, and very efficient, and can speak English. The Hotel always looked very clean. The location is a short walk into town, straight down one pedestrian friendly road. The breakfast is a help your self cold buffet, plenty of ham, cheese, melon, bread, cereal etc. I ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was very nice and reasonably priced, and there was a very good atmosphere in there. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to everyone, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and if I ever return to Figueres will certainly make sure I stay in this Hotel.

We stopped in Figueres on our way from England to Alicante in order to visit the Dali Museum. Hotel Ronda is a superb hotel to stay as it has free parking, free wifi and is only about 15 mins walk to the Museum. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel lays on an excellent breakfast which was included in the price. There is a reasonably priced restaurant if you wish to eat in the evening. Overall an excellent good value hotel.

Fine for an overnight stop

We stayed one night and although the room was small and had very little furniture it was fine for a stop over. It's not the place for a romantic break or a luxury hotel - but the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was very good value and the food really nice - reasonable as well at 25 euros per head.

Clean comfortable quiet room

The Hotel Ronda is conveniently located on a main road traffic circle and easy to find. Our bedroom and bathroom were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had a narrow unique lay-out that could be difficult for a large person to comfortably maneuver from the door past the sink, but otherwise met our needs and expectations. We enjoyed both a dinner and breakfast in the hotel dining room. The parking gate opens when you approach and requires a token to exit.

The multi-lingual desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The Dali museum is an easy 15-20 minute stroll from the hotel and the clerk recommended we leave our car at the hotel and gave us the parking gate token to use at our convenience, when we checked-out. Not having to find parking in an unfamiliar city was very much appreciated.

Had a very good stay at this conveniently located hotel. We used the bar and the restaurant as well and the food was excellent and good value and the service exceptional. I was treated well during reception and all aspects of my stay was explained fully. Not the first time I have used this hotel as it is one of the few that take dogs. The policy is carefully handled so as not to disturb other guests at the hotel. A very good stay.

Reception staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Hotel decor was modern and clean. Breakfast was ok but we would definitely recommend a meal in the hotel restaurant food was lovely. We stayed in the executive room it was clean and comfortable with a balcony the only negative about the room was the walls are paper thin we were woken up very early by people in the hallway. Figueres is a quiet town but perfect for visit to dali museum we took the car or it's a 20-30 min walk. Would stay again at this hotel.

Our two night stay here was perfect. The room was modern, clean, and the bathroom was large by European standards. We had a lovely balcony with table and chairs. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was about a fifteen minute walk to the Dali Museum, but also a wonderful way to start the day.

Hotel Ronda is a nice small hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was fabulous, and included a variety of fresh fruit, cheeses and meats, breads and pastries, ann scrambled eggs and bacon. It was the best hotel breakfast we had in Spain.

Enda minuset var att rumstemperaturen var 19 grader i slutet av november när utetemperaturen var 6 grader med hård vind, värmen på rummen kom igång vid 19 tiden. hotellet borde förutsett det kalla vädret o startat värmen tidigare på dagen.

Otroligt lyhört på rummet! Ganska hårda sängar. Frukosten var mer av en spansk frukost med väldigt mycket sötsaker. Rummen var rena och fräscha, och bra service vid kontakt med receptionen.
