Amazing Villas, Amazing Service, Great Location !
The hotel is unbeatable in every aspect.
Muaz and Tom ,our room attendants, offered us an impeccable service. Next the wonderful and always smiling AO from the spa made our stay joyful. Was an honor for us to take classes with Mr Martin, the Martial Art Master. We highly recommend him. Great experience !
As to our thakaru Sameen, we're very grateful for how he treated us. He took care of us as a family, always with a personal touch. Very professional and committed to his job as a butler. Next time we're certainly ask for his service !

Paradise in Paradise

Our trip was planned as a \"vacation of a lifetime,\" and it was everything expected plus more. The island is gorgeous with pristine Indian Ocean waters abound, and world-class service. The villas were amazing, spacious, and extraordinarily clean. The staff at Niyam was absolutely wonderful and you could feel the sense of service in their delivery. What was really nice was the opportunity to lay back and relax, or be very active with the many activities available on the island. We would come back in a heart beat and highly recommend this resort to anyone, families with children, adults, singles, anyone attempting to escape the craziness in our world.

The Maldives, in general, is absolutely spectacular. What makes Niyama special is the staff. The level of hospitality is really unbelievable. MANY people really stood out, but our Thakaru (Mahey), the Spa staff (Tara and May), the ENTIRE staff at Epicure (Kudy, Asso, and everyone else) really stood out as being the best of the best.

The only criticism I have is that we had one service issue at one of the restaurants. It was minor and was corrected easily. The really impressive thing is how eager the management is to receive constructive feedback. They even have a cocktail reception once a week for that specific purpose.

The food was outstanding (make sure to book Sub 6 in ADVANCE. Nest too. The facilities were GREAT. I initially didn't care about having a pool in an over-water villa, but I was WRONG. . .we used it multiple times per day.

On the excursions. . .we saw dolphins within 30 seconds of leaving the lagoon and we saw 4 turtles on the turtle quest. When we go back, we will do far more excursions. We are even considering getting SCUBA certified

Oh let's what there was to like 🤔

Oh how about everything? There was absolutely nothing horrible about our stay here. I went for my honeymoon and this place is worth every single dollar. Niyama is among the most southern of the resorts for the Maldives, and it does not disappoint. The views was stunning. We stayed in the deluxe over water villa, and the pictures can't even come close to doing justice to actually seeing it and being there. The room and bathroom are amazing and extremely modern. The staff also was able to accommodate my request as to maximize our privacy and get the best possible view of the sunset from our villa. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Also the restaurants, there are 4 specialized restaurants there and we did one each day. The Subsix is probably the most unique experience I think, it's an underwater setting and extremely cool. I would recommend doing lunch there instead of dinner. The Edge is next to the Subsix and provides an experience in the Lagoon on its on platform over the water. You have to take a ferry from a dock on one of the main islands to the place. Edge and Subsix both serve mostly seafood, although there a few other dishes that are available that aren't from the sea. Well worth the experience. The other two restaurants were Tribal and Nest. Nest is pretty neat, it provides a treetop setting and is unique. Nest serves Asian dishes from various places. Tribal is African themed and also awesome. I can't type more. 1500 limit :(

Excellent getaway

Combination of luxury and raw nature. The rooms are super comfy and come equipped with all the amenities you need. We were in a delux water Pavalion. Everything in the resort exceeded our expectations, from how freindly the staff are to the condition of the facilities and level of luxury and pampering. The food is very delicious and lots of variety in cuisines but a bit pricey. There are lots of activities to keep you busy and happy during your stay. We enjoyed the bike rides and snorkeling gear which where complementry upon arrival and during your stay. Would like to express our gratitude for our personal Thakuru (Max) who took care of our every need, making sure our stay was as comfortable and joyful till we checked out of the resort. All in all it was a memorable trip for me and my wife 🙂

Look no further :)

stayed in at overwater villa for 3 nights, villa is clean and modern with wooden decor, and we can watch sunrise straight from your bed :)

Bathroom is super spacious looking out at the sea.

Food:
Great at western (Grain Fed Beef Burger) and Indian food (Rogan Josh) , however other asian food falls a little flat (Pad Thai).

Service:
Service is top notch, cant fault it ..
Each villa has their own thakuru (personal assistant) who will assist with arranging your activities throughout your stay (snorkel, dolphin watch, dinner reservations, etc). Throughout our stay we are assisted by Mr. Yitno, who happens to be Indonesian too, so this little detail makes you feel like home :)

Each staff is super attentive, told one of the staff at Epicure that my wife was a bit under the weather and he immediately suggested their doctor and offered a breakfast takeaway for her convenience, what a surprise!

Relaxing stay at Per Aquum Niyama

Truly a relaxing stay at Per Aquum Niyama. We had a Thakuru assigned to us, who handled all the bookings for dinners and island activities. The dining options were fantastic -- Asian inspired Nest, African themed Tribal, modern international dining Epicure, among them. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the Maldives.

Greatest resort on earth! Staff was great. Beach villa with private pool, outside shower, private path to the beach.....Every morning a breakfast feast! The chef, Jeffrey, catered to us like Royalty. Our butler, our friend, Simon, was great. You could tell behind the scenes, the resort manager, Didi was hands on and crazy attentive. Spa massage was heaven. Scuba diving unreal. All GREAT! !

Very good but not flawless

Amazing two islands to explore, gorgeous beaches, and attentive fun service from the staff. Downsides: the smell of diesel from incoming planes tinged the air several times each day. Water is also desalinated on the island and either diesel or plane fuel tints the water (smelly). Our room had sewage issue so the bathroom had a rank smell. Know the costs, meals will be about $2-300 for 2, budget about $1000/day. Restaurants were great but I personally got food sickness from Edge, Tibal was our favorite. I booked Per Aquum partly as they were listed as VIP+ Expedia member but I received no room upgrade, zero benefit, not even recognized at time of check in, a bit of a scam. Can't say I'd go again but did enjoy our time there.

The staff are unbelievably friendly and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Water villas were private and clean and extremely spacious. The cleaning service is also very attentive and very sweet. First time to Maldives and we chose this resort purely based on the recommendation from Tripadvisor and other hotel websites and it didnt let us disappointed but have wonderful and unforgettable experience in Maldives.

We have chosen a pool villa. The room is super big and tidy, well equipped, and with private pool and massage pool. Also, u can down straight to the ocean that you can do swimming and snorkelling immediately from your room. Life jacket is also available, or if you want to let snorkelling equipment, you can just request and voice out. Also, even in front of the ocean, there is high degree of privacy that you can enjoy both of your honeymoon without anyone disturbing.

Another suprise is there is a chinese / cantonese speaking house guide to mange and help you all the stay in hotel that suprisingly we didnt speak much English on the Islands.

There are mainly 4 restaurants in the Islands, each of them has its own specialty and with different pricing level, of which two of them, namely Nest and Edage are the highly recommended one, even though the prices are bit higher than the others. We recommend you should spend at least one night in each of them.

We also do cycling and snorkelling, a must do activites here in this resort.

Overall the experience here is excellent and superb and we have no doubt to recommend all of you to have your wonderful holidays in this resort.

This was our first time in Maldives and had a great stay at Niyama. The resort is set on 2 beautiful islands with a bridge in between. There are 4 restaurants and a takeaway deli which provides plenty of alternatives. The nicer restaurants are quite expensive but, having said that, we would still recommend trying them.

The staff were brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome. The waiters and waitresses at breakfast were always cheerful and provided good conversation and would provide information and tips to help us know more about the resort and the Maldives. Our 'Thakaru' was pleasant and helpful. The guys who took us out on a snorkelling excursion were friendly and helped us have a great time. All in all, the staff who we saw and spoke to day in day out were really nice.

We enjoyed the daily events organised by the resort like drinks on the Tuesday evening at sunset. We also appreciated the efforts made by the staff when things crop up such as our flight delay. We were impressed with the flexibility and intuition of some of staff.

The rooms were top class. We split our stay in a beach villa and then a water villa. The villas were spacious, well-equipped, well-furnished and set beautifully on the beachside or out in the sea. Our water villa was blessed with a perfect view of the sunrise.

Best hotel in Maldives

By far, this is the best resort I have visited. Extremely clean, staff were super friendly, everyone at the island must greet you if they see you. The resort have a lot of restaurants with variety of food, so you don't feel you're stuck with one kind of food. Our private Butler/thakor Lushia is the most amazing Butler, she took care of all our needs, activities, reservations, anything that you want she makes it possible.

Beautiful resort and great services from the moment you stepped into their airport lounge. Activities were superb and in room services were top class. Lime Spa was class. The only flaw was the reservation office whose assistance and services in pre/post vacation does not measured up to Niyam standard. I just came back from these hotel, was there for 4 days alone, and I can't wait to get back already!
Stayed in beach studio # 35, was quite private, beach studios located on the side of the island where no ships or seaplanes coming, so u really enjoy clean sea and the beach, the sand is like a flour!
Spa is good, water activities are good, and the Food! Omg! I couldn't believe that I had such a good food in Maldives ! Very good variety and the quality, the staff was very attentive, of cos it's a new hotel so u might experience some imperfections, but nothing could spoil my Holliday )

Fastastic room (we got the Deluxe Water Studio with Private Pool). Great privacy (view of the ocean only from the room). Half board is adequate as breakfast and dinners will then be buffet style (in fact, we overate). Water studios are built above some corals and there are plenty of fishes swimming around and below the water studios. Snorkel friendly (I canot swim). While pricey, everything is priced in USD and there are no hidden charges (wysiwyg).Only complaint is the slow check-out process. If paying in cash, make sure the USD notes are new and clean.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gut organisiert. Leider, könnte es für diese Preiskategorie wieder einmal renoviert werden. Ärgerlich war auch der Preis im Spa. Das alles sehr hochpreisig ist, weiß man im Vorhinein und ist völlig ok aber 530$ für 60 min Relaxmassage für zwei ? Ist etwas übertrieben...

O local e a estrutura do hotel são incríveis. O transporte por hidroavião direto até a ilha é muito legal, vale a experiência. O Thakuru (mordomo) está pronto pra te atender a qualquer momento. Todas minhas solicitações prévias a estadia foram atendidas, ainda ganhamos uma massagem e bolo pela comemoração da lua de mel. São 2 ilhas, você se locomove a maior parte do tempo com bicicletas no meio da mata sem dificuldade. A água é incrivelmente clara e quente, tem alguns locais para snorkel mas achei sem muita diversidade, você consegue ver babys sharks e arrais mesmo sem mergulhar, do deck dos bungalows. Varios restaurantes, Nest e Tribal são os destaques, comida excelente, vale a pena conferir, você recebe um crédito de 50 dólares para estes e outros restaurantes. O café da manhã no Epicure e Blu são bons com muita variedade, mas o jantar incluido na meia pensão não gostamos muito, são temáticos, muitas opções de comida mas acaba ficando um pouco enjoativos. As atividades são inúmeras, destaque para o Surf na esquerda clássica chamada Vodi, pegamos altas ondas, Nathan, Ricardo e Ananda nos receberam muito bem e te passam o boletim diário das ondas. Os quartos são fantásticos, ficamos alguns dias no bungalow que é sensacional em cima da água. Café, sorvete, água e alguns petiscos gratis, além de agua de coco são distribuidas na ilha. O quarto na vila não fica para trás, com banheiro enorme no meio da mata, e alguns passos da praia. Experiência incrível, recomendo.

Todella mukavan kokoinen saari, jossa kaikki paikat olivat siistejä ja hyvin hoidettu. Palvelu oli ammattimaista ja todella miellyttävää. Upea water bungalow loi upean puitteet täydelliselle Malediivilomalle. Myös paikalliset arvostavat tämän kohteen todella korkealle.
