Room was overall big enough for couple mangement was great and friendly bedroom light and fan didnt work, and th3 doors hot stuck, blinds on windows could be replaced as they are ripped down the bottom and van be stuck opening being on ground floor us quiet noisy with people right above loud all night ,

Check in was easy and the onsite managers were super helpful and friendly. Onsite secure parking was a plus. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (room 33 on the third level). The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only downside was no air conditioning in the bedrooms but we just closed all the doors and let the air con from the living area flow in. It did have ceiling fans too. Ensuite bathroom was very small but all we needed for our two night stay. Main bathroom was huge and had a spa bath. Balconies were roomy and stretched across the entire apartment. Pool was a good size and had BBQ amenities. Overall a fabulous apartment that suited our needs to attend a concert at Sandstone Point. Would definitely stay again!

The facilities around the retreat felt outdated. The pool area did not feel calm and relaxing. It lacked a garden and greener. The photos of the property did not match the actual size of the pool.
Our room was fantastic and reception were very friendly and welcoming.

Cleaning needs to be more thorough I reach into the side of the couch as my toddler has put her dummy in there and also found a sock and hankie. Under the couches also needed a good vacuum.
Would be great if face washers were supplied with all the other linens

The unit was clean but furniture was old, outdoor furniture was damaged and uncomfortable to sit on. We had an ugly view of the golf club’s sheds and the pool area and mini golf for the kids was old, not maintained and unappealing. Both elevators were not working so it took forever to get in and out and we were abused and threatened by fellow guests. Reception were not available when needed it was a nightmare so we left a day earier. Bribie Island has nothing to offer either, no Ubers and 30mins for a taxi. Never again.

Very clean and nice apartment- we were nicely surprised. The only issue we had was the noise from the neighbourhood apartment. Even though the strict resort policy of noise curfew after 9pm; these guys continued with their loud music after midnight which wasn’t nice at all.

An enjoyable retreat

The Fairways Retreat was an excellent place to relax and unwind. It was very clean, and the in-room facilities were excellent, as was the swimming pool and the adjoining golf club.
It was about 1km from the beach, and could be accessed by a bush track. The patrolled beach at Woorim is about 3km away, and you'll need to use a car to get there.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

Girls Golfing Trip

Keys won’t in lockbox when arrived and have to call managers several times; They said they sent a Code by text sorry they didn’t, happen to 4 other groups We new of...very disappointing as we were on the golf course an just wanted to shower. The room we had was full of dead cockroaches and hundreds of babies de gusting! Managers said they would let the owners not good enough 3 nights too Long couldn’t wait to get out of there.👎😠

Wife & I had a weeks stay on fourth floor 2 bed unit over looking the golf course and observing the daily ebb and flow of the golf clubs activities. Really enjoyed ourselves and the facilities on offer at 'Fairways' The balconies were a welcome respite with the warm mid winter sun and were a perfect hosting area for friends when visiting. The golf course was at its very best, and hosting a game for my social club only added to the brilliant week that was.
Overall, very neat and tidy, a little old and jaded but for the money and position very well worth a stay. Mike and Trisha made us feel very welcome and we'll happily consider a return next year, Cheers F & R

A few things poor, a few things good.

The apartments are privately owned, so all are different. However, they are large, bathroom plus ensuite, walk-in robe, good size kitchen, a/c and fans. Two TVs, Fox. The wifi is really strong and good for streaming. Our apartment was showing its’ age but everything worked. The shower was hot and strong. There is no daily servicing and only initial supplies of amenities including toilet paper. Very close to Bribie Island golf club with limited restaurant (but full bar) facilities. 15min walk to the surf club but we were there during pretty consistent rain, so did not see the best of the local area - driving around only gives you a limited feel for an area. So, a few things poor, a few things quite good. On balance, worth a return visit because “now we know”.

We stayed in a "2 Bedroom Standard Apartment" (Room 18). Friendly owner. Spacious apartment. Location is in a residential area on Bribie next to Bribie Island Golf Club. However, no restaurants/cafes near by. Facility & apartment shows signs of age, not quite up to date. Cleanliness was below average. Be aware that this room category has no view. We looked straight at a concrete wall not more than 5m from our balcony and a car park - not nice. For what we got it was overpriced ($195.- per night on a weekend).

what we didnt like about this place was how unclean it was in one of the bathrooms was dead bugs and long black hair on the floor dust over everything we lost something and we searched the suite ( penthouse ) for it my brother put his hand down the back of the couch cushions and found a condom what the hell one of our 4 kids could have found it we had a problem with the internet and we went down and spoke to the lady who said she would get the hubby to look at it when he knocked on the door he was not very friendly at all there was no offer of information on what to do in the area being disabled i found it dangerous to shower in the ensuite in the room that has the spa the floor of the shower is like ice when the water hits it the air con did not really cool the place at night up at the roof top bbqs the lights are on a timer button we had to keep pressing it at night the suite filled with bugs even with doors shut i will not tell anyone to go stay at this retreat and it was not anywhere near the money we spent on the room for the 5 days

A quiet location on Bribie

The 2 bedroom apartment is very spacious but only has aircon in the lounge and kitchen area. The lounge and bedrooms also have fans but this was not enough on the hot nights. The location is at the golf course somewhat out of the way but perfect if you are looking for a quiet place and don't expect to walk to restaurants and shops. The golf club does have a restaurant. The common area amenities i.e. the rooftop, the barbecue and pool area, the children's playground and the mini golf are excellent and well looked after. The secured underground parking with allocated spots is great. The bed was comfortable, the lounge was aged and fell short on comfort. The overall apartment cleanliness could be improved. For the price it was good value.

We had a pleasant 3 nights at Fairways Golf & Beach Retreat. Our unit was comfortable & roomy with more than adequate kitchen & entertainment facilities. It was quiet, private & well priced. The whole complex is immaculately clean. The pool was warm, the putt putt big enough, & showers at the pool had heaps of hot water. The roof top barbecue and seating area was huge with magnificent views of the surrounding areas. There are plenty of eateries close by as is any shopping required. There was little traffic & it was very easy to get around. We will certainly return here.

Stay for 2 nights for golf tournament. 2 bedroom apartment on 1st floor which limited views however has excellent rooftop with BBQ etc offering great views. Swimming pool is heated at constant temp. Apartment good but needed couple of things fixed eg hinge on cupboard door and toilet seat crooked in ensuite. Queen bed ok but felt like old inner spring type mattress. Overall apartment was good.

Wedding accommodation and beach retreat

We were at a wedding at Sandstone Point Bribie Island. Only a 10 minute drive from the Fairways and such beautiful accommodation in a great setting near the beach. Would not stay anywhere else. Therese and Mike were fantastic. The comfort, layout and ammenities were terrific.

There were a few hiccups in regards to the standards to our room but it was enjoyable . Room needs a makeover and few things need fixing and replacing other than that our trip was enjoyable and staff were lovely
