Janice
While we have stayed here before and were looking forward to staying again, I was disappointed that we were not informed about the construction. It did not impede our ability to move around, although riding in the elevators with disheveled and smelly workers was not fun. In addition, there was a constant odor of someone smoking marijuana in our bathroom and bedroom that was very unpleasant. The desk staff were polite but not all were as friendly as we expected.
Elaine
Convenient location. Many franchise restaurants in the immediate area.
Paige
Loving staying here! Always spacious and clean.
Petra
We have stayed here countless times over the past four years while our son was a Bates, he played sports so we spent a good 4-6 weekends there. Definitely our go to place to stay in the L/A area for visiting Bates, so close and easy to get to campus!
The staff here at the absolute best! They are so kind, and go out of the their way to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is fantastic, wild Maine blueberries are a treat. The buffet is fresh, plentiful, replenished often, and neat. Rooms are always clean, and we love having the kitchen for morning coffee and snacks. Newly renovated rooms are a bonus too. The very best in the area!

The room was clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well thought out and maintained by a friendly hostess. The suite setting was quite helpful for our four night stay. We took advantage of the kitchen setup that included a full size refrigerator, pans, dishes and utensils. The only drawback was some light maintenance that was needed in the bathroom of our suite.
George
Every single staff member, from the front desk staff, housekeeping team, and breakfast staff, were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and in great condition.
Marylee

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was super nice. Plenty of space. Quiet at night. The breakfast was better than most. Staff was friendly and most helpful. Would not stay anywhere else.
Kim
We stayed in the renovated floor and it was really nice and modern. The breakfast was fantastic and staff were all very friendly. We will absolutely be back the next time we visit family in Maine! Highly recommend!
Dustin
Great place! Super friendly and helpful staff. We booked the 2 bedroom suite and it had everything we needed to cook dinners at the hotel.
MARY
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel \"at home\". The upper floor was being updated during our stay, but our room was quiet and we were completely unaffected by the work. The hot breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was awesome.
Kimberly
Staff was efficient and kind. Readily available. The room was clean. We only stayed one night but it was quiet, clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. Thank you.

My friend and I thought we had a full oven in our room when we noticed we just had a cook top we called to see if they had a way for us to cook the dinner we had brought with us. The woman at the front desk quickly upgraded our room to a suite with a full working oven. Staff was very nice and super helpful. We will 100% be back next year!

Augusta
Everything was great except we didnt have body wash/soap in shower when we arrived. The pillows are pretty lofty which I found a little uncomfortable. Staff was super nice and it was very quiet.
Duane

Happy Traveler
The staff was amazing, from check in to check out. Breakfast offered something for everyone including hot items and the usual continental items and the breakfast staff was friendly and kept the area very clean. Our suite, as well as the common areas were very clean and quiet.
Joanne
Will definitely be staying here again when visiting our family the next time we come to Maine!
Ronald
The only problem I had was the price. I thought that I had agreed to one price. But when I was told what the price would be I was shocked. Paid it, but will keep my eyes open in the future.
Krista
Conveniently located - well maintained - still newer
Melissa
This is a great, functional, place to stay if you are visiting Bates College. While it does overlook a Subaru dealership and an Olive Garden it is only 5 minutes from Bates and amidst every large discount store in the area, which was quite convenient for us. The staff is excellent. The only negative would be that they could use some more fresh fruit at the buffet other than the standard apples and bananas, and coffee is not strong. The suites are nice and I would stay there again for sure.
William
The kitchenette was a welcome surprise. The semi separate sitting area and the very comfortable bed made it a good choice, which we will repeat.
Lori
Very nice & quiet place to stay. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for sure!!
Marlene
It was very nice and comfortable

Pleased to have some gluten free Options for breakfast. Staff was pleasant and the inside and outside area was enjoyable to sit at w my family.

Anita

Rachel
Staff was wonderful
Kristen
Nice place! I really liked my suite. There was plenty of space, and the bed COMFY!!!!
I couldn’t give it 5 stars because it was a bit loud. I heard slamming doors all night (it’s just how the doors close there), and the extremely loud HVAC system. There is constant whining noise all night.
Most frustrating, I authorized my card to be charged for the price that Expedia plainly showed, but was charged more when I got to the hotel. I don’t recall being told anything about a deposit - nothing was mentioned - they just charged me about $50 more than what I expected to pay. I just find that crappy

I booked the stay for two nights. Has some travel difficulty and only stayed one night. I asked the front desk if I could get a copy of the stay that I only stayed one night. Staff checked me in when I wasn’t there. Now I cannot submit a travel claim because in their computer showed that I was checked in. Asked for a general manager, who, of course, wasn’t there asked the front desk for the general manager to contact me, which he never. Thought it was shady that staff checked me in when I wasn’t present until the next day.
Robert
Would definitely stay again when in the Lewiston-Auburn area!!
Kelly
Stayed here for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to do an early check-in and a late check-out. The room was spacious.
Claire
No complaints at all!
Daleana
Pool area has peeling paint on the ceiling that is flaking into pool area. Pool cold. Room was on the first floor right near housekeeping, extremely noisy while trying to sleep. Sofa bed was absolutely terrible. Stayed in room 116, extremely musty smell in there when we arrived. Homeless person circling parking lot at night.
Julie
This place is amazing. They treated my mom and I amazing. They moved use from one room to another.
They did everything for us while we were out for birthday breakfast.

Place is nice and clean, but very disappointing to have very cheap and horrible sleeping pillows. I had a bad sleep night. Please change pillows as soon as possible.
Rachel
Great location, spacious room! Breakfast was awesome along with fitness center and pool!
Shannon
Super friendly staff!
Scott
All good except for internet access. could not get ethernet and had to get tech support for wi-fi which didn't last for the last day of our stay. Tech support itself was long and arduous.
Katherine
We were in town for college graduation. We booked the room many months in advance. We paid more than we normally do for a luxury hotel for this one-night stay at a Residence Inn because it was graduation weekend. Not a good value but fine.
Jonathan
Roomy and clean, also great for exteneded stay.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, and friendly.
The hotel was perfectly located for me, near Bates College. The rooms were clean, large, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. The pool was very clean and appealing, although I did not use it during my stay. The breakfast was much better than the standard fare at other places, and included several fresh, hot options in addition to the breads, juices, and cereals one expects. Also, the breakfast hours were generous. Overall, I would happily return here and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone in the Lewiston-Auburn area.
Jackie
It was raining most of time so I didn’t walk around much so I can’t out excellent

Never again
There were unruly children running and screaming up and down the halls on our first night stay, I had to go downstairs on night two and say something to the front desk just so I could get some sleep. I had to send my wife to the front desk on day 3 to request housekeeping because no one gave us towels or cleaned our room. When house keeping finally arrived, she was nice though. The bathroom had mold around the edges, wallpaper bubbling, and the indoor pool was very cloudy and just not very clean looking. The breakfast was TERRIBLE and had no taste or tasted nasty when it did have flavor so cereal was the only thing eaten for four days

The hotel desk person was very nice & accommodating. The pillows were too big to sleep with. The upstairs noise of someone stamping their feet went all day into evening. We got no sleep. The pool was cold and there weren't any dressing room so you had to walk out in the cold to get to your room. There we no ice machines.
Kiara

Staff was friendly, except when I checked out and said my stay was good ,except for the ants in my kitchen. The young lady Apologized,But there was a gentleman standing there and he didn’t say anything no apologies know anything. Don’t know if he was a manager or just another staff member.

Great place to stay for comfort, price REALLY HIGH
Room was spacious and clean; dresser drawers kept rolling open in one of the bedrooms. Stove top in the kitchen area was not clean - showed cumulative dirt. Some stray hairs in both baithrooms on check in.
Still can't get over the SUPER HIGH PRICE of the rooms.
