Breakfast food ran out way before the end of breakfast time. Bar - ordered 2 drinks and got one already while the server started serving other patrons and never served my drink. I had to remind her but it was too late for it so we left.
Room was for two people but they only left one bath towel and no face or hand towels. We requested more towels and they only brought one each.

The ocean view rooms are wonderful if you have need a lazy day! There is room service until 9:30pm and they have two restaurants. The staff is absolutely delightful. Ask for Anna Marie she is the best!! This resort is more beautiful and cheaper than other resorts. They also have live entertainment daily so what more can yku ask fir?

Property is less overall than it was when we last started in 2013. The new main dining area is much less desirable than the 270 degree ocean views from the older part of the hotel. Additionally, the lovo and Fijian culture ceremony is lacking in comparison to below, as the several fire dances and gospel singing we're the best parts.

First room stank of mold. Was moved to a better room. No Wifi for majority of stay. Pool needs maintenance and painting, looks run down. Beach was full of trash. Wouldn’t take much to put more effort into cleaning up all the plastic that’s washed ashore. Staff were generally very friendly and kind. Good massage at the spa, but spa amenities also a bit rundown.

There were no hand towels and hand wash. And whoever cleaned the rooms did not bother to empty the toilet bin plus did not replenish the toilet paper or the other items hand towel and bath mats and soaps. We had to ask but still no hand wash and hand towel throughout our whole stay. There was a musty odour every time we entered the room. The car park facilities are ridicules and limited and unsafe. The buffet breakfast was boring and pastries were not cooked well. The selection was mediocre and had no taste

Our stay overall was good - the main reception, housekeeping, and most restaurants staff were welcoming and helpful. However, a few staff had attitude issues that really need to be addressed. The $100 Expedia guest voucher was also a disappointment - it wasn’t clearly explained, and I was sent back and forth trying to use it. The boutique shop was not open on time, please a 10am is not 10:45am and in the end, I was told it could only be used at the restaurant. Unfortunately, I couldn’t redeem it at all, which left a frustrating end to an otherwise pleasant stay.

A nice resort with wonderful friendly staff, we stayed for 8 days and they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Food was in the main excellent, and the drinks options very good, cocktails from the pool bar are really nice. There were plenty of events to go to throughout the day and we really enjoyed the river tubing trip nearby. The Establishment over the road is a good alternative for a change of scenery, great food and prices there too.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service

I had such a great experience during our stay! The housekeeping staff truly stood out — they were incredibly accommodating and made sure our rooms were clean and comfortable. When we arrived, the room meant for my kids had only one bed instead of two. I brought it up to the staff, and they handled it immediately without any hesitation — quick and efficient!

What really made the stay extra special was that the hotel surprised me by decorating the room for my birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made me feel so appreciated and celebrated. It's little touches like this that set a place apart. Thank you to the amazing team for making our stay so memorable!

We had 5 nights at the Pearl and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ocean & pool views were a delight to wake to every morning. A great free buffet breakfast with amazing views of the harbour and boats. So peaceful and beautiful. The music entertainment was amazing at all meals, such a lovely addition to travelling in Fiji.
Highly recommend for a quiet retreat and holiday for any occasion. Bula!!

Highlight of my trip to Fiji although granted the bar was set very low , I mean look it needs a bit of a spruce up here and there but this is a 3rd world country

Daily dawn swims in the adults only pool wet quiet and sublime.
The grounds are a tropical paradise and are kept beautifully

The room balcony overlooking the river and ocean was a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast and reading
The bed was very comfortable

The aircon was responsive. Note: don’t turn off aircon and open the balcony door, as despite the natural in place thermal comfort, the flooring seems to “swear”. Keep interior air conditioned for an optimal experience.

The “Deli” restaurant dish of kokoda (raw fish marinated and cooked in lemon juice, then served in coconut cream) was consistently delicious

The resort is walking distance to local shops offering alternate meals, as the in resort food is quite expensive

Bed was very comfortable. Food options were a bit limited for my liking. I couldn't survive a week eating in house, even though there were some speciality evenings. I also enjoyed some time at The Establishment, a few minutes walk away. The biggest plus of this place is the staff. Always Friendly and helpful. I’m particularly grateful to the night staff who brought his brother to jump start my hire car for an early morning drive to the airport.

The property has two parts, new building in white and the original establishment with higher category rooms (adult only).

The central A/C in the new building is very strong, even when it's turned off. When the balcony door is open, it starts to get some moisture on the wall and smell like mold. The room is designed with an open concept which is suitable for a couple with intimate relationship (no kid). The bathroom is completely open with a sink and glass doors (no lock) to separate the shower and toilet areas. There is no hanger inside the shower if you want to dress/undress.

The highest category room with balcony facing the sea has a wonderful view, but poorly isolated and hear people talking in the next room. Also close to the multi-functioning event hall. There was a wedding in the resort during our stay, with loud music 3 nights in the roll till 11pm.

Breakfast is okay with some varieties but messy when it's busy. There is not much outside the resort, and the on-site restaurants make no effort to offer meal choices for Lunch and Dinner.

Right on the beach with nice landscapes, two swimming pools need some refurbishments, the gym is very small with limited equipment, WIFI is very bad & unstable. Resort offers complementary use of kayak & paddle board which is a plus.

Hotel stuff is quite nice especially the cleaning crew. Make sure you check the statement regularly since the deposit appear and disappear on the statement from time to time.

The Pearl was our last stop on a 2 weeks honeymoon in Fiji and we found the resort to be comfortable and was a great location if you wanted to do the River Tubing nearby. The rooms were clean and the staff were excellent when we were able to get ahold of them. We went in May so I think it was the off time because we definitely noticed there being areas of short staffing. For example the gift shop was never opened once even though we asked 3 separate people if it was going to be opened at some point. It would have been fine if it was closed since its the off season but every time we asked someone it seemed like they were going to get someone who could open it but that person never actually opened it in the 4 days we were there. There were also times where it was a little hard to find the events person which yet again gave us the feeling that the place was short staffed/ was operating with lower staff in the Off season.

We are pleased to have stayed at this resort during this low season, there were about a dozen guests in the 3 days. We didn’t have to fight for lounge chairs by the pool. It was rather tranquil and peaceful.

Room was spacious and great with the ocean view. Beds were a bit soft. AC worked well.

Staff was pleasant and helpful, but seemed to be less knowledgeable about the services.

So all is good, except, the food. The buffet breakfast left much to be desired, boring choices. BUT, the lamb sausage tasted like stale meat, the vegetable dishes were bland and mushy.

The Spa service was ok

The best thing about this hotel is the compound and the view. SPECTACULAR 👈👈

Clearly well past its prime, this resort has lost its will to live. The bones are good, but it’s no longer particularly well cared for. Our room was dirty, smelled of chemicals, could not be cooled below 25c overnight, and was short of towels and even TP. The picture over the bed was upside down! Drinks and extras were overpriced, the food was mediocre, and the internet access fee was high (everywhere else we stayed charged nothing). Although the staff were pleasant they were clearly overworked: give them a good tip.

fishing tour set up at the pearl are thieves as they stole our catch for the day on PRASAD FAMILY FISHING TOUR that we booked on the 23rd AM.

The Fiji Friday night dinner and show was good but overall, it’s an overpriced property in poor condition. We had issues with cold showers, cockroaches in the room, very bad breakfast buffet and resultant tummy problems and diaharea, as well as a grimy adult pool and a resort ‘fishing’ activity involving old water bottles with fishing line wrapped around it. Recommend only staying on a Friday night but certainly 4 days is way too much.
