Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Great location
Love breakfast here.
Room at the old building is ok. It’s small but clean.
Wifi is not so great & same with TV. I can’t watch the local channel & YouTube is not so stable. I can’t watch it most of the time.

Location is great for me close local market, food,laundry across the street and noisy when the local open for business. the hotel need better up keep and staff need updated information to help guest.

Location is very close to a lot of restaurants and markets. Staff are friendly and nice. The room was a little run down (our sink had a massive crack), still reasonable. However, there was construction or maintenance during the time of our visit which woke us up every morning.

Mold and yellow stains around bathroom, smelly comforter, bath towels are old, should be recycle, housekeeper did not complete the basic toiletries. Very inconvenient of providing only one room key, room fridge was off when we remove room key from slot, ac fan blew directly to bed and can not turn fan facing other way, shower area is do slippery, can fall down any time.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I arrived. Basic customer service was lacking, and any requests were met with rudeness or indifference. The overall service was inefficient, and it seemed like the staff had no interest in ensuring guests had a pleasant experience.

Additionally, the facilities were not well-maintained, and the management appeared disorganized. The Air Condtion is not working. I have asked to change another room but they refused to do so. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves their service.

The location of the Dong Kinh hotel is very convenient. You can walk to Hoa Binh Market. There are a lot of delicious food nearby. District 5 is a Chinatown. The front desk staff has good service, There is also a young lady in the Hotel who can speak Chinese, especially the young beauty named Hieu, Because There were mosquitoes in my room and she upgraded me to a good room. I really appreciate her , Thanks Hieu 🙏 and the other two beautiful and handsome staff are also very good, so every time when I come back from Phu Quoc Island or Nha Trang we will stay here. If the hotel can be renovated and cleaned, I believe it will be a good choice. I would recommend it to people who like to live in Chinatown, because it is really convenient here. And we will stay here again when we come back from Da Lat.

The hotel is actually 2 properties. My friend's room and mine were extremely different. One had an excellent AC and the one I had housed an old AC that didn't cool very well so it was fairly humid in my room all the time. Staff were unable to fix the issue. This is the heart of D5 so it's always busy around the hotel. Plenty of dining options around the hotel. Wish my room had been a little better maintained.

I booked the same room at Dong Kinh Hotel at Q 5, but it was cheaper than last year. The reception staff were very friendly and kind, especially a young girl named “Hieu” who was very polite. The highlight is that she speaks English very well, which allows some customers who don’t understand Vietnamese to understand some of the hotel services they want to know about.

Because the hotel room price is cheap and there are many Vietnamese food restaurants nearby, and Q5 has always been known as a food paradise in Ho Chi Minh City, I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Overall, it's a 3 star hotel. Room and bed are a little small. Shower drain needed to be unclogged. Hotel location is close to a traditional market. It's not far from bus station in district 5. Had to complain to get a room with windows. Staffs are polite but don't speak very much English.

We stayed at \"Block B\" which is one building away from the main hotel. Even we were on the third floor, we could hear the loud booming music coming from the disco at the main hotel tower each evening from 9pm until 4am the best morning. When the crowd gets let out at 4am, people were screaming and yelling for another hour before finally going home. We had to call security nightly to address the noise issue. We were finally offered another room after spending the first 10 nights but the only room that was considered more quiet is one without any windows. We had to wear ear plugs each night 7 days per week. We spent 16 miserable nights at this horrid property. The only thing that made our stay minimally bearable was the wait staff at the breakfast buffet. They were friendly and personable and they made us feel welcome. Upon check out, the hotel front desk demanded that we pay US$1.50 for a drinking glass we broke in the room. If we could have transferred to another hotel we would have done so but the hotel was prepaid and so we were stuck. Never again!

This is a one stop for all a Chinese businessman's needs. Start the night with dinner, then drink at either the KTV or Dance Club, then end the night a massage, all in the same complex.

Clean room, friendly service

Needed to stay just for a night and it met expectations. The room, sheets and towels were crisp and clean. The TV had several English channels. The lights went out thrice in the night when it was raining and took several minutes to turn back on. The breakfast the next day surprised me as there was more variety than I expected. There were 2 live cooking stations: pho and egg. The buffet had Vietnamese and Continental options. When checking-in they asked to keep our passports for the night due to police checks, but I declined and requested them to keep a photocopy which they did. Staff is friendly, even when their English is not so good.

Hotel neighbor is safe walking around, Hoa Binh market is a block away. You can buy and enjoy all variety of tropical fruits, nightly market actives till 10PM. Although building B offers smaller rooms, but quiet. A side 4th floor plays loud DJ music all night long!

We have a party of 6 people and booked 3 different rooms. I am not a smoker and all the rooms have a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, there were ants all over the wall in my room and my friends got bitten by bed bugs, the air condition barely work, the lamp was full of dusk, the save was not bolted down. the hall way is hot. After I checked out the hotel and a took a taxi which referred by this hotel, and the taxi driver overcharged me to my next destination.

Première nuit dans le bâtiment B horrible chambre salle petite .
Des personnes fumaient dans leur chambre nous avons demandé tant bien que mal à changer de chambre le lendemain ils nous change bâtiment A.
Un peu mieux mais très mal insonorisé impossible de dormir avec des jeunes qui faisaient la fête dans leurs chambres et dans les couloirs.
Malgré nos remarques le personnel quasi inexistant.
Le ménage dans les chambres n’est pas fait j correctement.
Je comprends pas les avis positifs moi je n’en vois aucun.

Schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal.

Das Hotel liegt in Chinatown. Man ist so ziemlich der einzige Tourist dort und wird definitiv von jedem angeschaut. Andererseits erlebt man so auch viel mehr. Das Personal ist stets bemüht es einem Recht zu machen. Größtes Problem ist aber, dass das Personal zumeist nur sehr wenig oder gar kein englisch sprechen kann. Dennoch kamen wir mit Händen und Füßen gut zurecht. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, jedoch täglich das gleiche.
Fazit: Ein sehr sauberes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern, das mit seinem höflichen Personal bei uns gepunktet hat.
