The room was in the basement , with absolutely zero view with a dirty little area not taken care of. There was nowhere to put a suitcase or more than one. There was something in the building that gave me an instant allergy attack….

There were a lot of people looking after us from checking in, to eating in the restaurant through to breakfast. There was a bit of noise from guests late at night which echoed up the stairs but it didn't detract too much from a great stay during our tour

Find somewhere else. I have stayed in abt 15 hotels in this european trip of approx $200/night. Worst experience here. Took abt 15 mins to find someone to check in, place is cluttered to the point of hoarding, not maintained, shower needs major scrubbing, no AC and lots of flies in the room, couple hosting doesn’t speak english so no help asking questions abt the area but they do pressure you when it comes to buy from the restaurant menu without even understanding what you want, WiFi is intermittent but mostly out the whole time, tv cable/antenna also mostly out. Find somewhere else. Not worth the experience.

Lots of flies, very dirty rooms. I have 3 issues:
1. Booked a mountain view room. Was given room in the basement. See attached photos.
2. In the booking and in the hotel it said free WiFi. Was not able to find any WiFi network in the whole hotel, not even in the room.
3. Spent 45 minutes before the sleep time killing flies in the room, see photos attached. They were everywhere and a lot of them!
4. No AC in the hotel.
5. Opened a door in the morning to get some fresh air and a dog walked into the room from outside. Didn't affect me at all as we love dogs but could've scared someone especially with kids.
Overall, very disappointed with this hotel. Owner appeared to be nice though as he served us some food at late night when we arrived, without showing us the price, then was a surprise bill of 25 euro for a plate of cold meat apetiziers which they served during breakfast next morning. Would I seen the price before, would never pay more that 5-10 euro for it.

The main issue with it is that it was very dirty. Bed sheets were dirty and dusty, probably from lack of guests. Shower was clogged, creating a pool of soap every time you shower. The staff were nice, although don't speak much English. Breakfast was below average. Overall pretty old hotel with not enough attention and care.

Well, you come here for the view...and the food. The room is small, bathroom is small, but the bed is comfy and the small balcony has a great view of vineyards and Bolzano below. The restaurant has great dinners and breakfast. English is not spoken here; it’s spoken little throughout Bolzano. This is a German-Swiss-Austrian town, and so are most of the tourists. But it doesn’t matter: you’ll love it anyway if you are a monolingual Brit or American!

Beautiful location with a family business. Great pride in their facility and striving to please. English is the third language here so be prepared if you don't know Italian or German. They do their best and we were able to get by and really enjoy our stay. Take a walk and enjoy the singing cuckoo's and every home looks like a cuckoo clock. We loved it!

Hotel located above the valley, with super panoramic views from the southern rooms. Great starting point Hotel a bit dated, room was cold due to tiny radiator. Caution - our passports were photocopied without our permission. In ensuing discussion, woman behind the counter arrogantly cited some local police regulations, which is rubbish. Data and privacy protection laws are very strong in Europe, photocopying documents with signature can lead to a fraud ans it's major no no. She was just to lazy to write down the data from passport and chose to photocopy them.

They spoke little English so hard to communicate. When we did speak we felt they were quite patronising. Food very average. SO many flies everywhere. No lift. Tiny cramped room. We booked a balcony room with a view and got a window looking onto the car park. Would never stay again. Only plus was the view during breakfast.

Forgo your hotel room for this wonderful inn.
This is why you come to this area. For the experience and the views. You immediately are immersed in the mountaintop Tirolean inn you wanted. The owners and staff make you feel at home and the inn has a nice warm feel. We could only stay a day but I wish we could have stayed a week. I highly recommend that you forgo the hotel like so many other hotels that you were going to stay at and spend at least one night at this place.

A disappointing surprise!
This hotel is set on the side of a beautiful mountain but a very difficult road to reach the hotel! A long way from the main city! When we arrived she was very friendly at the check in. However our room that was booked on Expedia said we would have a room with a balcony. However, we did not get this room when we asked for the room with a balcony we were told that we could have the room in a couple of hours because the cleaning lady was sleeping. We decided to stay where we were because that would have meant that we could get the room at 8:00 P.M in the evening. That was too late and we were tired. The front desk asked if we wanted complimentary supper or breakfast, we decided to have the supper but the next morning we were charged for the supper. The room was not very clean and the bed was very uncomfortable. We decided to check out early because we had to return the rental car back to Munich. At 7:00 a.m we were the only ones up in the whole hotel and tried to load our luggage into the car but all of the exits including the front door were locked. We had to wait for the owners to get up so we could pay and unlock the doors. My concern would have been what would happen if there was an emergency and all exits were locked. They said they would only take cash when we checked out and luckily we had enough cash. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

We were heading from the Dolomites to Lake Garda and wanted to stay near Bolzano so that we could easily visit the Archaeological Museum and Otzi. Hotel Unterinnerhof proved to be an excellent choice with great service, good food, excellent views and pleasant surroundings.

On a passé un très beau séjour avec vue sur la montagne. Un plaisir immense de se poser et regarder la ferme juste en face avec vaches et poules. Le personnel au top, faisant un effort pour être agréable dans notre langue. La piscine, le resto, les aires de jeu pour enfant, le champs de pommes pour se promener, c’est un très bel endroit. Je le recommande. Le resto était très bon, pas très cher. Effectivement les chambres sont un peu petites et le sèche cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. Mais le personnel nous a aussitôt donné un autre. C’est chaleureux l’ambiance. C’est reposant. Très reposant. Un des meilleurs hôtels où j’ai été en Italie. Gracié…

A check out ti chiedono di pagare tassa di soggiorno nonostante che l'hai già pagata e lo dimostri con la prenotazione online in nostro caso tramite Expedia, ma niente da fare, ti dicono che non vale e devi pagarlà ancora qui in locale, ti rispondono se non vuoi pagare pagano loro per te da la tasca sua. C'è una grossa incomprensione. Se mi chiedono verrei tornare in questo locale ancora una volta o no, io rispondo di NO, assolutamente. Tavoli a cena trovi sporchi di broccoli di pane e ti tocca \"soffiare\" e pulire da solo, a colazione una sporcizia sotto tavoli con i stuzzicadi rotti e bricioli di pane ancora da giorno precedente, evidente che non si pulisce, mosche DAPPERTUTTO! Noi avevamo la stanza completamente da l'altra parte del locale sotto dove c'era la musica accesa fino ore 23:00 più o meno e non si riusiva a dormire, specialmente se pensi di fare giorno dopo un trecking in montagna e svegliarti presto.

We had a couple of great days at this very welcoming place. Extremly friendly owners and staff. Good service, good food, nice garden and well filled brealfast buffé with lots of good things and good italian cappuccino. All enjoyable with a good view of the valley!! We aim to come back!

Vista molto bella, ma per il resto davvero pessimo. Mosche ovunque, appena si entra, in camera e per non parlare del buffet della colazione, non c’era niente di coperto e quindi a fare colazione erano solo le mosche. Noi purtroppo non ne abbiamo usufruito, pur avendola pagata.
In camera non c’era l’aria condizionata, lenzuola sintetiche, facevi la sauna.

Vista molto bella, ma per il resto davvero pessimo. Mosche ovunque, appena si entra, in camera e per non parlare del buffet della colazione, non c’era niente di coperto e quindi a fare colazione erano solo le mosche. Noi purtroppo non ne abbiamo usufruito, pur avendola pagata.
In camera non c’era l’aria condizionata, lenzuola sintetiche, facevi la sauna.

The room was dirty, with remnants from the previous guests. We had intended to use the pool, but refrained from doing so as it appeared filthy and was situated directly below the restaurant. Consequently, we opted for an early night, only to discover that the toilet was not functioning. We reported this issue, and although it was inspected, it was not fixed. This was a disappointing experience. Despite this, we did not get a discount.

Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend! Da merkt man die Eigenschaften eines Familienbetriebes. Wirklich ausgezeichnet. Auch die Lage des Hofes ist herrlich!
Unser Zimmer war ziemlich eng und klein und teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sauberkeit war auch nicht die allerbeste, aber da konnten wir drüber hinweg sehen.
Das gute Abendessen hat dann alles wieder wettgemacht :-)

Personale accogliente e disponibile. Il problema sono le condizioni dell’hotel. Struttura vecchia, poca manutenzione, ferma agli anni 80. Camera fredda perché i termosifoni poco caldi, siamo stati costretti ad utilizzare una stufetta elettrica, già presente in camera (a norma?). Acqua tiepida in camera la mattina, di 4 prese elettriche solo due utilizzabili. Per non parlare del materasso e del letto, estremamente rumoroso e per nulla confortevole. Sicuramente non è un hotel a 3 stelle, al massimo 2 considerate le condizioni.

Innanzitutto, non abbiamo soggiornato presso l'hotel Unterhinnerhof, che avevamo prenotato per una notte. Siamo stati spostati in altra struttura dove ci è stata dato un appartamento e non una camera di albergo. Abbiamo dormito su un divano letto. Inoltre la camera era molto fredda e non c'era riscaldamento. Alla nostra richiesta di avere altre coperte e di mostrarci dove fosse il riscaldamento, ci è stato risposto di trovarle da noi.

Hiking at Dolomites
Hotel has a very nice location on a hill in vicinity of Bozen. Service was friendly and room was clean.
On the minus side there was lot of flies in the breakfast room which had to be constantly evicted. Also the rooms have extremely poor sound proofing. After I got a neighbor to a room next to me I was able to hear everything they were talking. Luckily they went to sleep early. The rooms don't have window blinds or thick curtains and you can practically see to neighbors room from other room's balcony unless you close the bulky shade doors that were blocked by balcony table.
Also I did not like that the staff came to my room with their own keys without knocking two times during the same morning.
With some small improvements this would ne a wonderful hotel, because the location is so beautiful and handy.

Ho prenotato questo albergo ancora il 16 maggio. Quando sono arrivato, il 23 agosto, si erano dimenticati della mia prenotazione e l'hotel era pieno... ho dovuto soggiornare in altri due hotel per due notti in attesa che si liberasse una stanza... La posizione ha del potenziale, ma non è possibile commettere una leggerezza del genere...

Malissimo da ogni punto di vista dal check in (il proprietario ci ha fatto aspettare forse 15 minuti perché doveva finire le chiacchiere con i clienti al bar e quando sono andata a chiamarlo mi a risposto anche brutto),alla camera stretta con un bagno piccolissimo e sporchissimo senza bidè, la colazione lasciamo perdere , con dei cornetti del giorno prima, poca roba comunque. La cosa che ci a più schifato e che era pieno di mosche vive e morte dappertutto nella sala colazione, nel ristorante, ti si voltava lo stomaco. Purtroppo una brutta esperienza 😞

The owner is very nice and takes time to talk to you. And the view from the terrace is gorgeous.
But that’s about all the good things about the hotel. It was 30 degrees and with no chance of cooling the room - we slept on the terrace the first night until we could by a fan ourself. We stayed 3 nights and not once did we get the room cleaned, towels replaced or new toilet paper. The amount of flies is crazy and they were everywhere! In the room, on the breakfast buffet and in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant was not very impressive.
The radio at the pool right next to the rooms is playing very loud everyday from 700am to 1000pm.
