Very friendly. Quiet location, we were on a 2 week tour in italy and it was our favorite stay!

The rooms were newly renovated and they were working on the ground floor so I imagine this will be an incredible place for our next trip to the dolomites.

Absolutely spotless accommodation, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this place for a few nights in the middle of the beautiful Italian dolomites. I can't say more good things about the staff...went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

Just book it you won’t regret it!

Great food, super cute and comfy room, perfect town, but the best part was the staff! Oskar was so kind with our chaotic 18 month old daughter, gave us a super hiking recommendation, and was just generally a very good host. Highly recommend!

Hotel was very clean and SO cute! Beds were extremely comfortable, not hard like all the other beds in Italy!
This town was absolutely stunning! Everyone was so nice! Felt like we were part of the locals. Not very touristy. The best way to end a long trip to Italy going though all the busy areas first. Oscar hosted us with great hospitality! He was the last one to close up (and we stayed up late) and the first one up with breakfast all set up! Made sure our stay was amazing! Thank you Oscar! We will definitely book again when we come to visit Italy.

My wife and I stayed here and we were very pleased. The staff were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Everything tasted very fresh, especially the yogurt—the best we have tried. The rooms were very comfortable and the little town was quite peaceful and charming. We would come back!

The corner room has mountain view but it can be slightly noisy as we need to open the window for better ventilation. The staff are friendly too and they helped us to keep the yogurt as my dog needs to take yogurt for breakfast daily. Thank you!

Highly recommended! A charming place, hosted by extremely pleasant owners who will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. We had a great time in Alto Adige and Gasthof Sur Sonne was definitely a plus to our stay. Thank you once again!

Where do I begin?? First with the good. The room was nice and modern. The shower was spacious and clean. Location is nice and in the countryside. Now here is why I give a 1 star. Upon check in, we encountered two younger teenage boys at the desk playing computer games. We had to ask the bartender to check us in. She said she needed to keep our passports and threw them in an unlocked draw. She then gave us a keychain with no key to get into the room and then blamed us for no key. During the evening, you can hear everything in the restaurant below late into the evening. The morning of checkout, we sat down to eat a roll and yogurt and were told that we weren’t allowed to continue to eat at the table we were sitting because it was a big table. The restaurant was practically empty. Bad business! When we went to checkout, I started packing the car with our luggage and a man outside was yelling at me to move the car because he needed the space. This was the place I was told to park in by the hotel. What a mess. The location was great but I suggest to find somewhere else to stay. The place is being run by underage teenagers and a clueless owner.

Wunderbare Gastgeber, sehr gute Lage um die Dolomiten und das Südtirol zu erkunden. Gute Küche und schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Auch unsere Hunde waren willkommen und es hat in der Umgebung sehr schöne Rundwanderungen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. It’s located in a very cozy and friendly town in good proximity to Ortisei and hiking opportunities. The staff is great. Always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was good and the room was nice and clean. The restaurant at the guesthouse has pretty decent food, and there is a supermarked a short walk away. Would definer come back if we visit the Dolomites and this area again :)

Note negative: Di questi tempi lasciare la bottiglia dell'acqua non finita della sera prima vicino alla finestra del tuo tavolo per apparecchiarla la mattina e la sera dopo senza sapere se qualcuno può averci fatto qualsiasi cosa visto che aperta non ci sembra un ottima idea, il risparmio fino ad un certo punto
Altra nota negativa, non abbiamo avuto nemmeno un caffè offerto dalla casa, tutto pagato fino all'ultimo centesimo

Albergo super funzionale, carino e location nel centro di Laion..super vicino a tutto..
il sig Oscar è una persona super accogliente e ci fa veramente sentire a casa.. tutto lo staff è cosi! Camera metratura giusta, moderna, calda, pulita! E poi la cena non avevo programmato la mezza pensione perché non mangio molto però consiglio al 100% (cervo come non mangiavo da un po’) super mercato Despar a 2 min a piedi.

Un bon séjour à Laion

Chambre et hôtel propre. Le personnel est très agréable. Un +++ pour le monsieur qui tient l‘accueuil et le restaurant, on aura bien rigolé avec lui . Chaque jour un nouveau menu est proposé au restaurant. Nous recommandons cet hôtel pour une escapade dans les Dolomites.

Gunstige ligging in dorp. Keurige ruime kamer met veel hout. Glazen schuifdeur tussen slaap- en badgedeelte. Prettig waren de houten jalouzieën om de warmte of het licht tegen te houden. Vriendelijke gastheer. We hadden een heel ruim hoekbalkon met houten stoelen.

Accoglienza e cordialità del sentirsi come a casa.

molto bello, è stato come essere accolti da vecchi cari amici che non vedi da tanto tempo. Camera bellissima, molto silenziosa, nuova perchè penso sia stato ristrutturato da poco, quindi tutto legno caldo e molto comfort, bagno con pavimento riscaldato, una vera chicca. Il titolare Sig. Oscar è stato davvero molto accogliente nei ns. confronti e Il personale ha avuto sempre la massima disponibilità , per non parlare della cordialità. Cibo ottimo e pure la posizione ottima, perchè da Laion ci siamo mossi comodamente verso Merano, Bressanone, Ortisei. Pensiamo di ritornare sicuramente per altri week end perchè ci è piaciuto molto e siamo stati molto molto bene.

Ottimo servizio e titolare molto simpatico. Gli appartamenti molto spaziosi e confortevoli. Albergo un po' fuori mano ma raggiungibile facilmente. Punto di partenza per tutti i mercatini compreso Innsbruck.
