Room was clean, other than shower/toilet area had small bits of white on floor like flaked paint or t.p. dust. Lotion is not provided, but plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner. Bed was ok, not the best but not the worst, either. Breakfast was good, lots of choices like waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, fruit, etc. My only real issue was this place has no elevator, so if you have accessibility issues, be sure to request 2nd floor , which is the floor you check in on. I was on 1st floor, which is accessed by going downstairs from the check in area. But to get to my car, I had to go upstairs and then down some outside steps or out past the front desk and wheel my luggage down to the parking area.

We had a nice stay at La Quinta in Caldwell. The staff was very nice, the amenities was perfect, breakfast was the usual, we did have a shower issue, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and the staff was notified of the simple fix. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. We could never get the internet to work even after the provider tried to help me via phone for 20 minutes. We had two queens which were quite fine but the room was such that there was space for only the plastic desk chair. Cramped in that regard. The complementary breakfast is very very good. The hall and room carpets are a couple generations out of date.

Our room was clean. I use a bi-pap machine and had no nightstand on my side of the bed. I used the desk and that worked but it was a stretch to turn my machine on since the desk is further from the bed than a night stand. We thought there would be an elevator but were our room was there was no elevator just steps. WE were told we only had about 6 steps to get down to our floor, however, there were 3 steps outside to get to unlock the door then carry the bags down the 7 steps to our room. A little inconvenient but it worked. We had a parking spot fairly close to that back door,

First off, the staff were lovely and I have nothing bad to say....However, the property was rundown and felt sketchy. Walking down the hall I could smell pot and some other unidentified odors. The parking lot made me feel unsafe, especially in the back. I booked here because I thought there was ahot tub, but it turned out to be a lukewarm kiddy pool! The breakfast was good, I was satisfied. My room was surface clean but somehow still felt dirty. I have stayed at many of their properties which were in much better condition. I would not stay ay this one again.

After breaking down on the hwy with 6 horses which made it a late check in. At 10:30 a tribe of teens running a shouting down the hall made it very unpleasant. Just wanted 4 hours to relax before getting back on the road.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. Breakfast staff and evening front desk staff were very kind and helpful. No elevator but there was handicap parking. Luckily my husband could climb 1 flight of stairs. The property is right off the freeway so there was some noise and the traffic getting in and out to the main street was very congested at times. Nice pool but no hot tub.

Our room looked great in the photos, but close up it was a different story. The room was not very clean. There was dog or cat hair all over the carpet. It had a kitchen, but there was only enough silverware for one person, no bowls at all, and no dish soap or dishwasher soap to clean anything. The light above the sink was missing, but the screws and everything was still there letting you know that there was supposed to be something in that place. The heater was very difficult to understand how to operate and the room would stay very warm even when the temperature on the machine showed it was set to 68. The bed was pretty comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The curtains are cut around the window AC unit, so you can see into the room from outside at the edges. The hotel itself was underwhelming. It is an old building and it shows.
The breakfast was pretty good and there were plenty staff was nice, but the hotel itself needs some work.

We just spent two nights at La Quinta and were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and the price was great. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut but the shower was great and i appreciated having the option of having a bath chair available if needed. We have stayed here before and will stay again the next time we are in Caldwell.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in very late with 4 cats, and they accommodated us well starting from my phone calls prior to check in all the way to check out. Room and amenities were all clean. Breakfast was your usuals, but the sausage was great! Free parking is also available, spacious, and convenient. Extra stars for the nearby Dutch Bros that was just 1 min away!

Breakfast was great, staff was on top of keeping it refilled throughout breakfast hours. Staff was super nice. The key cards kept not working so that was a little annoying. If you can't do stairs you're gonna wanna let them know ahead of time cause there's a downstairs and am upstairs and not many rooms on the main level with no stairs. On Expedia it's advertised as having an accessible pool and a hot tub. The pool is NOT accessible. The only way to the pool area is via stairs, and the lift thingy thats supposed to be used definitely looks like it doesn't work. (I was temporarily wheelchair bound a while back due to neurological stuff and now notice that stuff lol). The hot tub is lukewarm at best. That was super disappointing. But the staff were extremely friendly!! I've also never seen a pet friendly hotel they actually allows cats! So I thought that was cool.

The fan in the bathroom was obnoxiously loud. I opted to use shampoo and conditioner but there was not any conditioner. Only one bar of soap for sink and shower and no bath mat. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Good variety of food to choose from.

Our room was incredibly stuffy, AC unit buttons were so worn and broken you had to guess how to operate it, mini fridge was inoperable and we were told there was no solution. We opted to just open the window (no screen) and listen to the heavy traffic all day. Pool was warm ish so we decided to get in, commented on it to the staff member, and went to go get dressed. While we were getting dressed, the staff member decided to fill it with the hose and brought the temperature down considerably and as we went to get back in he said “oh sorry the pool is probably a lot colder now I have the hose running into it.” The smaller pool’s bottom flexed as you walked in it, it was only a foot deep, and had chunks of paint and black spots I can only assume were mold floating in it. It is not a hot tub — it was colder than the pool. At no point during our stay was our trash ever taken out, we did that ourselves. The room was very run down overall. Definitely not a $400 stay for two nights. We booked through Expedia and just saw that the hotel was pet friendly so we brought our dog. The staff member asked me to sign a waiver, but at no point mentioned an additional charge. He charged our card an additional pet fee without informing me he would be doing so. It was CERTAINLY not a $450 two night stay at a run down highway-side hotel. The staff member who answered when I called regarding the additional charge was very kind and did refund the $50.

They put me on the third floor and it was very loud. Neighboring rooms were full of teen agers going in and out, slamming doors, and being loud in the halls until 2:30 in the morning. I tried to mention it at check out and the clerk kept interrupting me and a ting like she couldn't get myself and other customers away from her desk fast enough. I have never had a bad experience at this place before and have stayed there a handful of times when traveling but this time was horrible.

The pool was a little merky. Looked oily and had paint chunks floating around. It does not not have a hot tub- the little water section is a kiddy pool just fyi. I was bummed when I showered after the pool to find out our conditioner was empty in our room. Overall one of the older La Quinta’s I’ve stayed in.
