We stayed here one night as part of a longer road trip. The beds were soft and the bathroom was clean, but we had several issues. The fridge was unplugged when we got there so the freezer was full of water. We plugged it back in and it worked fine, we just weren’t able to use the freezer. The microwave didn’t work at all, it didn’t even power on. The floors needed to be swept because walking barefoot resulted in dirty feet that my daughter then transferred into the bed. There was a thin layer of dust on some surfaces so it seemed like the room was either not cleaned properly or hadn’t been stayed in for a while. It’s next to a main road so it’s pretty noisy all night. It was fine for the night but I probably would not stay again.

There is an attached bar so expec loud noises and activity until late. The room was filthy and staff very unfriendly. Dont think that just because the sheets have stains and hair all over them you wull get a refund, no such thing. There is no ice machine as they have shut it off for the season and there is no hot water. I am really surprised to find a place this disgusting on expedia.

I like this motel just fine. It's apparent that they have put a lot of work into it, but it's also apparent that it is an older establishment and could really use some additional TLC. The room was clean and comfortable, and the lady who was working there when I arrived was awesome to work with! The WIFI was decent as well which was important to me because I was on a business trip. It's not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination and it's not in the best part of town, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. And if you want amazing Mexican food, the restaurant, Dos Caminos, which is part of the samy building, was AMAZING! Some of the best street tacos and shrimp cocktail I have had in a long time! Very authentic!

There was also no coffee maker or hair dryer but I realized these were probably items that would end up missing from the room thus the reason for the $100 deposit. You could tell that they had been working on the rooms. We had alot of trouble with the keys. Two of our rooms had no trashcan, we had to request one. Rooms are exceptionally small. Water pressure was very poor. There was no coffee, the lady told us, they hadn't ordered filters. Lobby door was always locked, you had to ring a bell for someone to come to the door. No apologies for any of the inconveniences from our requests. At the price for hotel rooms these days, these were very poor accomodations.

We reserved this place as all hotels within that city were booked, as a last resource it was booked as we drove a very long distance; however, it was a very dirty motel. Although the rooms were to be smoke free, the smoke odor was unbearable. They showed us 4 rooms, each worse than the other. I don’t think the bed covers were ever washed. I couldn’t imagine handling it 5 minutes. Asked for a cancellation & refund, which they didn’t agree. We were ready to sleep in the car than in the room. This is no exaggeration.

Advertised as \"newly renovated\" but that was a stretch. Definitely not a real renovation, just some paint and basic cosmetics. Bathroom door didn't really close well. No fan in the bathroom, and more importantly... no hot water while we were there (both in the evening when we arrived and in the morning). It's downtown, which was convenient, but there were people hanging out in cars in the parking lot late at night. Definitely not a great option, I won't be back.

The door was bent and didn’t close securely like it had been kicked in before. The chair was dirty and stained. There was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. The bathroom light fixture was screwed to an exposed electrical remodel box. The fan didn’t work and had his only knows growing on it. The shower head barely slowed water, and the shower wall panels were separating leaving open gaps. It was definitely not worth what they charge. I have payed less and stayed in way nicer places before.

This hotel charged us $160 for a filthy room. The sheets were not changed and I don’t think the floors were swept in months. The front desk woman was rude and upset because we asked to move to a different room. We ended up moving to another room and it had clean sheets but the room was filthy as well. Do not stay here!!

The bed was comfortable, it is in a very convenient location, they have done a lot of work to this place. The staff that lives onsite however need to improve on their customer service skills. I literally got in late around midnight (after checking in at 6pm to drop out stuff and leave). The housekeeping leaves something to be desired and when I brought it their attention asking for a slight discount I was told to leave for threatening them and they called 911 on me. I stayed waiting to discuss the issue with the police and when I wasn’t scared off by him calling the police he hung up!?!? The police dispatch called back and he proceed to pretend to do an accidental dial?!?! I would definitely give this property another chance if they would make sure the rooms are clean and no dried pee puddles around the toilet. They have doneA LOT of work on fixing it up and improving it. Keep it up and improve the housekeeping.

Our room was described as a \"deluxe double\" but nothing deluxe about it. It lacked even the basic ammenities of a Motel 6, Super 8 or similar. Mattress very saggy, two very small pillows, no way to boil water or make coffee, not even plastic cups for tap water. Bathroom fixtures were very worn and chipped with multiple layers of paint showing. Doors worn and sagging. It was actually fairly clean, but overall, one of the most depressing and poorest value rooms I have stayed in the US and multiple other countries.

The main office has locks on the doors at all times because of the unsafe neighborhood. After I checked in, I entered the room there were no pillow cases on the bed and only one towel that looked like it may have been used.
There was no additional locking device on the door that could keep someone out. Anyone with the master key could enter at any time.
I went to the front desk to discuss my issues and the property employee seemed was very put out. The neighborhood was dangerous so I went and sat in my car to decide what to do. The property employee than came out to tell me he was giving my room to someone else. But I had already purchased the room for the night and I told him that if he wouldn’t refund my money, then technically I had reserved the room, he then yelled back as he was walking that I had 15 minutes to go back in or he was selling my room.
Ultimately that made me feel even more unsafe and I ended up just driving away.

The room they put us in looked like it has not been cleaned in quite a while because it was really dusty and dirt on the floor. It stunk as if it has been smoked in for a nonsmoking room. There was also a dried lugy in the bathroom sink and a pubic hair in the bathtub. We left that very same night we got there had to drive back to Twin Falls and back up to Nampa again for my daughter's graduation. I am very disappointed that i had to waste some much money on fuel because they couldn't keep their facilities cleaned right. The fridge in the room didn't even work. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The photos they use for the hotel are not representative of the rooms. They are run down and poorly lit. Before I even got to my hotel room I saw trash everywhere, cigarette butts, old doors, and broken mini fridges were among some of the things they just have laying around the property. When I got to my room I was hit with a strong cigarette smoke smell. It was so bad I ended up with a headache from it. The room was poorly lit, no overhead lighting so it was hard to tell if the room was actually clean. There was still masking tape on stuff from them painting and there was paint on the light switch. The flooring was lifting off the floor so whoever had put the floors in didn't do a good job. The furniture looked like it was all second hand and not good quality second hand stuff. There was a bracket on the wall leftover from something. The door wouldn't latch unless you slammed it shut. I stayed there less than an hour before I decided to check out and they wouldn't even refund me.

Nampa Inn or Bates Motel? A SCAM

I have never left a negative review, but how disgusting this place is is downright almost criminal. The photos look nothing like the rooms. I only mistakenly booked here in the first place, but had a time crunch for business, so didn't have time to rebook.
Let me summarize:
- chair half gone
- stains on sheets (come on)
- carvings into the dresser table
- peeling sink
- dirty, sticky floors
- cigarette smell so bad it could make a smoker sick
- cigarette burns and ashes on the comforter

When politely asking for a refund, the front desk man yelled and was completely rude. They know their business model here. Hotels.com - you should remove this establishment from your site. This motel is a scam.

This is budget-friendly. If all you are doing is getting a place to sleep and a bathroom for a night it is fine. It is an older place, a bit run down, but comfortable and mostly clean. No carpet on the floors, which I definitely appreciated. The bathroom floor could have been swept a little better, other than that is was fairly nice. It served our purpose without being too costly, so we were happy. Not sure who wrote that it had bed bugs, but it did not!

If all you need is a bed to sleep in and a quick shower, this would be fine for you. It was very clean, the AC worked well, and the beds were clean and comfortable. It is nice that the units had microwaves and refrigerators. There is free wifi, as long as you remember to ask for the password.

Now for the bad news. It appears as though this is an older building which is under repair, holes cut in walls, etc. The wood floor is lumpy, the bathroom is tiny with no fan or vent. The electrical outlets near the beds didn't work. Customer service was severly lacking, as well.

Outside Is dirty and rusty and dated. Inside much worse. The ice machine has been broken for a long time according to the clerk. Their computer system could not recognize our PayPal account, so that took a long time after a long day of travel. When we got to the room it was very dirty, the wall switch did not work the single lamp. The sink drain was clogged with noodles, tub paint and trim were peeling away and dirty. My husband warned me not to look for missing objects under the bed because it was filthy underneath. Possibly worst of all was the fact that we had to request clean sheets because ours had not been changed. The nice front seat woman was as helpful as she could be. We had the great privilege of paying $250 for this room for one night. We would have left, but there was nowhere to go, and our payment was non refundable

The room was clean and the bed was fine. But it is an elderly building. Amenities were sparse. I think it was the thinnest bath soap I ever have felt. All that was okay. The only disappointment was the lack of coffee in the room. The manager did give us directions to McDonald’s though and he was very kind.

This place was downright scary. We had reserved a room with two queen beds. When we opened our door the beds were not made, there was a broom and cleaner sitting there, like maybe housekeeping decided to not finish their shift??
We ended up with one queen and the room was incredibly dirty and towels and sheets were stained. The desk clerks were nice enough but the property is in bad shape with overflowing trash in back. Please for the love of God do not stay here!

I was scared to leave my room as the man in the room next to me screamed at me as i walked by to \"f off and keep f*ing walking\"
The shower/tub didn't work. There was blood on the bathroom wall. There were used condoms, stained clothes, etc in the garbage. The fridge had old, rotted food in it.

I really don't know why this motel is listed on Hotels.com. It, in no way, is suitable for the traveling guest. The room that was assigned to us had not been cleaned. The bed was made and there were towels put out; that is pretty much the extent of it. The condition of the room was so poor, I doubt the Health Department would allow the establishment to continue renting it.
We paid for a room with a queen bed; we only had a full size. The bathroom sink did not drain. The floors had not been swept, let alone mopped. The filters in the AC/Heater unit looked like they hadn't been cleaned--EVER! We didn't dare circulate the air in the room. Some of the bath linens were filthy. A couple of washcloths looked as if they had been used to wipe up the floor. There were long hairs on the pillow cases, which we did take to the front desk. The desk clerk was kind enough to replace the pillows and furnished clean pillow cases. There was such a big gap between the door and the door frame as to nearly render the door ineffective. No exaggeration. There is more, but you get the idea. And, we paid at least 3X more than we should have for the room.

This motel did have hot running water and a heater. The bed was the tiniest bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Somebody needs to take a scrub brush to the floor and the baseboards. Nobody came and replaced the stained towels or made beds even though it said that they did that. Breakfast was served at six, but the office was locked so you couldn’t get in. There was no telephone in the room to call the front desk there were no chairs or table. It had one lamp with no lampshade. The button to turn the lamp off and on was broken so you had to practically cut your fingers to operate. I don’t know how this motel possibly got the rating that it has.

Didn’t like the room,and the service, and the hrs for the breakfast,7-9, when I’m on my vacation,I don’t want to get up so early for breakfast.i was there for 5 days,and didn’t have chance to get breakfast.im not sure that next time, I will go there.
