Only stayed for one night after a holiday in the Dolomites- wished we had stayed longer!
Excellent hotel in fabulous location. All the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout.
Room was immaculate and the breakfast and dinner service was first class.
The terrace used for breakfast must have one of the best lake views anywhere in Iseo.
Will certainly return next time we are in the area

This is a beautiful spot. We stayed in the cottage which was lovely and a great respite after traveling. The staff were so accommodating and thoughtful. The food was delicious. The salmon and the lake char were some of the best meals I had in Italy. The view of Lake Iseo was stunning.

Short stay - while at Italian karting competition

A beautiful hotel, with amazing views over lake Iseo.
The staff were amazing . Friendly , helpful, chatty - nothing was impossible for them.
They arranged taxis when needed, booked us dinner down in the town.
And always ready to bring as a cold beer when we arrived in the hotel in the evenings .
The restaurant and food was also fantastic !

The setting was breathtaking--old world style and just what I had imagined for my 1st trip to Italy. The staff was very welcoming, and did everything possible to make our stay memorable. The dinner we had there was SUPERB, with a wide variety. Would definitely return!

Lovely, old world luxurious place but guests should beware that it's a treacherous drive up many switchbacks to get there. Also, half the hotel is dedicated to being an event (manly wedding) venue. So both nights we were there, we heard the party and couldn't dine with the lake view. It's a little disappointing to drive all the way up there and not be able to see the lake if your room doesn't have a lake view.

it was by far much better that we expected...the staff is extremely friendly, the premises are gorgeous, the pool safe us from the extremely hot weather, dinner was great. The only disappointment was breakfast, it was very mediocre, and that was a surprise considering that everything else is fabulous.

Wonderful hotel all around. It is located on a hill a few miles from downtown Iseo. A possible downside is that going to the lake/downtown requires car or taxi, but we were looking for a quiet place away from the city and it was perfect. The vista cannot be beat. The hotel restaurant is fantastic and has very kind and knowledgeable staff (special shout-out to Stefano for his wine recommendations and excellent service). Our room was on the top floor, spotlessly clean, luxurious and quiet. The pool seemed nice (did not actually use it), and there are multiple locations inside and outside to sit and enjoy a pre dinner drink. 100% happy with the decision to stay here.

Great hotel in the woods!

Easy check-in process and we were offered a complimentary glass of Franciacorta during check-in. The restaurant with the view of the lake is only open for breakfast and group dinners, so we were disappointed not to be able to have dinner there. Great balconies and great hotel - we'll be back!

Fantastic Hotel on Lake Iseo (Lago d'Iseo)!

Because this was a \"lake\" visit I opted for a lake view room--glad I did as it was one of the most beautiful views we have had from a hotel room. Note, this hotel is high above the lake with a beautiful view, not right on the lake. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the food in the hotel restaurant was exquisite!

We had a beautiful room with a fantastic lake view. It really was the best hotel on our recent visit to Italy (and we travelled around staying at 7 hotels!) because of the comfort, amenities, fabulous restaurant and stunning scenery- we wish we had stayed longer - but will return!

beautiful hotel, fantastic food and wine at a great price for the menu for staying guests (35 euros for 4 course of gourmet food) plus an extra 10 euros pp for breakfast. Extremely good value stay in high class hotel with suberb views over lake Iseo and calming garden room views on the other side

Excellent welcome. Insist on room with a lakeside view. Excellent food; candlelit dinner was superb; breakfast very good with wonderful views of the lake. Bathroom only 'OK'; bath was ridiculously narrow and uncomfortable, taps and showerhead badly corroded; no natural light. Walls were so thin you could hear the children in the next room as though they were standing beside you! A wedding reception was taking place during our stay which did rather detract from the peacefulness of the place.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic views

We stayed for 2 nights at I due Roccoli in a room with lake views. Being high up on the mountain side, the view across the lake was spectacular. It's also very quiet and peaceful.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were offered a glass of franciacorta upon arrival.
The room was a good size, clean comfortable. WiFi through out and free (ask reception for login).
We ate in the restaurant one of the nights. The food was excellent. The following night we decided to dine in Iseo (nearby town on the lake). That was fantastic too.
Highly recommended. We would definitely return.

We had the lake view room and I wouldn't recommend any other...the view is simply stunning!!! We had originally had a park view room and quickly agreed to an upgrade after being shown the lake view.

Very quiet overall and comfortable beds. Spacious room. We enjoyed the meals we had at the restaurant. We were there during the week so things were a bit quieter which we found quite pleasing.

The location is perfect if you want to drive around the entire lake. Lots of photo opportunities all around. Hiking trails are nearby as well.

The hotel has a great balance with superb scenery, good meals, and comfortable accommodations.

From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine I knew we had made the right choice. Excellent service, clean rooms and if you have a lake view room then you will not be disapointed with the vista. The restaurant is outstanding and is reasonably priced. The location is high on the hillside overlooking the lake which gives great views but means that you are a 10 minute car ride from the lake itself. The location suits those with a car. The swimming pool, although small, is perfect for cooling down after a hot day and the staff will serve drinks at the poolside. Recommended for couples who love good food in a great setting.

FABULOUS!!

I returned to the hotel with my husband after attending a wedding last year where I fell in love with the venue. It really does have the wow factor especially the lake view room which is worth the extra charge. On arrival we were offered a glass of sparkling wine whilst checking in and then I cannot fault the food.... we are foodies and the food is incredible, we did not plan to eat every night of our stay in the hotel but from the first night we said we were not going to go anyway else!! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and their English was good enough to explain the menu and the wine recommended was superb. Even the weather did not dampen our stay and has just made us want to return again. The town of Iseo is small and has a large number of cafes and restaurants and these were all reasonably priced. You must take the ferry across to the island of Monte Isola, it's beautiful. Nothing negative to say......cannot wait to return to this hotel, when having breakfast looking out onto the lake, you can imagine it being in a James Bond movie. There was a wedding everyday of our stay but did not interfere with our stay at all. What are you waiting for?.....

Great Hotel with some issues

I Due Roccoli is a beautiful location up on a hill, with amazing lake views from some rooms. It is quite far away from town and everything else - so you have to drive anywhere. That said, it's a lovely spot that I would recommend highly. We had two issues at the hotel though. One - the internet service was awful. The internet connection would cut out over and over again for extended periods, so if you need to do work from here, don't plan on having an internet connection. The second, probably less relevant to most travelers, was that the AC did not work in one of our rooms and they could not fix it within the three days we were there. Normally that's not a problem, but when we were there it was 90 degrees F, so it was kind of a problem. Other than that, the service was good, and staff was friendly and we very much enjoyed it.

Ein rundum sehr gutes Hotel. Hervorstechend ist die Lage am Berg mit grandiosem Blick auf den Iseosee.
Hervorragendes Frühstück bei Weitblick über den See, mehr geht nicht. Tolles zuvorkommendes Personal. Hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Wissen muss man, es geht nur nach draußen in die Umgebung in die Ortschaften mit dem Auto, knapp 5 km bis Iseo. Aber das ist nebensächlich, für diese hervorragende Lage nimmt man gern in Kauf das Auto auch regelmäßig zu bewegen.

Just perfect two week stay in I Due Roccoli

It felt like a warm homecoming late at night! Our 14 days stay in I Due Roccoli was just perfect. The room was superb. It was totally clean, quiet, great bed, a lot of space for clothes and personal staff. We loved the big flat-tv for watching movies in the evenings.
The staff was so nice and helpful. The restaurant is really nice. The whole property is so well kept. In fact it is possible to walk around the hotel surroundings and wineyards and have a proper excercise. Thank you!!

Fantastisk sted

Wunderschönes Hotel mit fantastischer Aussicht

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Due Roccoli. Die Anlage ist sehr weitläufig, d er Blick vom Frühstücksraum auf den Iseosee bezaubernd (teilweise auch von einigen Zimmern mit Seesicht) und das Personal war jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend. Der Poolbereich war ideal für etwas Sport und Entspannung. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und liess keine Wünsche offen. Auch das Abendessen war hervorragend mit einer umfangreichen Weinkarte und wir waren mit Kleinkind immer willkommen. Das Hotel liegt auch ideal für Ausflüge zu den verschiedenen Weinkellereien in Franciacorta.

Vacker och bra klass!

Framgick inte vid bokningen att vi fick ”the cottage” som låg 400 m gångväg från receptionen. Det störde oss ändå inte utan var en bra hundpromenad på detta till synes mycket hundvänliga hotell. Dessutom egen pool och spatiös stuga med 2 ”sovrum”, (i vardagsrummet en bäddsoffa), gjorde detta till en trevlig vistelse även om vi inte hade sjöutsik. Att AC:n inte visade sig fungera räddades av en sval kväll, fläktar och en engagerad receptionist + servitör trots den sena timmen. Vi avstod från att äta med en 6-åring i den till synes ”stela” restaurangen. Men det är långt att åka till Iseo om man vill köpa mat.
Välfylld frukostbuffé kompletterades av utsikten över sjön.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar. Das Frühstück erfüllt alle Wünsche. Ein superior Zimmer mit herrlicher Terrasse ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Blick auf den Lago d’ Iseo ist hier unbeschreiblich schön. Insgesamt ein nicht ganz billiges aber tolles Hotel.

Inför ett besök i Franciacorta bokade vi ett prisvärt hotell nära Iseo-sjön för att vara nära grönområde och lite utsikt. Hade aldrig varit där förut och visste inte alls vad som väntade oss. Så häpna vi blev när vi efter en spännande körning på slingrande stigande vägar kom fram till I due Roccoli. På en klippa med en fenomenal utsikt över Iseo och Dolomiterna uppenbarade sig detta fantastiska boende. Ett gammalt privat italienskt hus med botanisk trädgård som diskret byggts på med hotell, restaurang, konferens och festvåning med bästa service. Vi blev genast serverade ett glas lokalt bubbel på terrassen med makalös utsikt innan vi eskorterades till våra rum dit bagaget redan flyttats. Rummen var så vackra och anpassade till kulturen omkring. Middagen åt vi i restaurangen där det erbjöds mat, vin och service på ”fine-dining-nivå” till en mycket vettig kostnad. Vi köpte sen med oss vinet hem…
Den generösa frukosten serverades i ett atrium-lokal med gudomlig utsikt och stort utbud.
Hade vi haft tid så hade vi gärna stannat en dag till och badat i poolen, hängt på terrassen och vandrat i bergen. Väl värt en liten omväg, på vägen mellan Brescia och Bergamo.
Hit drömmer man en mörk vinterdag i Sverige.

Great for weddings, but not accommodation

If you're looking for a place to hold a wedding or a bigger event, search no more! This place is excellent for this and it's quite obvious that this is their speciality. They have the organisation for it and they really have the place for it. The hotel is situated at one of the very best spots, overlooking the beautiful lake Iseo. Their buildings and areas on the mountaintop facing the lake are truly special.

But if you're looking for a hotel, think again...
If you don't book a room with a lake view, you'll be better of booking somewhere else. We had a very outdated room facing the garden. We couldn't use the wardrobes as they smelled too much mold, even with the added perfume. We had two lamps that didn't work and the drain in the basin didn't work either.
The areas with the lake and mountain views were closed all the time except for breakfast due to events. The rest of the property have no view of the lake or mountains at all.
The hotel has a pool and a jacuzzi, but as none of them are heated or even cleaned, they're of no use. They're also squeezed in behind the hotel, in a dark area together with the ventilation outlets. They also had some tables back there with dirty plates that didn't get cleaned during our stay.

Our impression was that all their focus and time were on the events. We understand their priority but it makes the hotel become just a necessity for offering event guest sleeping accommodations.

Accolti con tanta cortesia, abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare, ammirati, l'atmosfera di questa location. La vista del lago e lo spendido parco hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Il ristorante poi, ha soddisfatto in pieno le nostre aspettative. Quindi tutto ok, anche se..migliorabile e penso di molto la colazione: il pane servito molliccio e umido, le fette di dolce appena uscite dal freezer.
