Unfortunately that’s where the high end hotel ends we booked the so called premium suite (don’t waste your money)

the main disatisfaction is that there was one problem after the other with the tv. never connected. Had them adjust it at least 4 times.Even when asked [pm staff] ..didnot show had to go down a second time. This is reason i probanly would not stay herr. i got the sense they knew about it because when i said room they were expecting it

Staff were really friendly, they sent us to Ariston hotel, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location was quite good — close to the train and metro stations, and also within walking distance to major attractions like the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city

The hotel does not have an airport shuttle as stated in the description. The elevator (lift) is VERY small. It’s about the size of a bathroom stall. There was a step down in our room that had no caution or warning sign. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Most of the staff were friendly and the neighborhood odds walkable.

Great location

The hotel was very clean, and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend trying the breakfast it was a highlight. The location is also very convenient, especially being close to the station.

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy at night if your room faces the street. Cars and people passing by made it a little difficult to sleep. Also, I’d recommend using caution when walking in the area late at night.

Easy walk from the Roma Termini to the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. They arranged private transfer for us to the port of Civitavecchia for our cruise. There is a great authentic trattoria right across the street from the hotel. Delicious food and great service.

When I booked I mentioned that it should be bed and breakfast, but to my greatest surprise, we were told to pay for our breakfast! We didn't find it funny!
Why would we go to Morgana and pay such high rate when there were five star hotels with so many amenities and cheaper. I can definitely say we shall not go back there again. The staff were nice people though!

Good hotel with a great location (proximity to Roma Termini Station) and restaurants. Not overly special, but served our needs. Please note, if you are cruising out of Civitavecchia, you will have to carry your bags up and down staircases at the Civitavecchia train station if that's how you get into the city from Rome.

Room needed renovating. Bath area had major flaws and caused water to leak. The worst part was the wifi. Being a tourist, we rely on hotel wifi so we don’t waste our cellular data. I let teh hotel know the wifi was at a very low signal. They said they would reset it. I don’t know if they did. They told me the next day they did l, but the signal was still awful. I gave up on telling them. Just couldn’t wait to leave.

Hotel Morgana was wonderful! The hotel was conveniently located near the train station, taxi accessibility and shopping. We felt safe at all times. The breakfast buffet was exceptional! Hotel front desk could be a little more friendly except for one individual who we unfortunately didn’t get his name (maybe the manager?) who works in the mornings was very friendly and helped us with securing us with transportation to the cruise port. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again during our next trip.

NOT SAFE – HOTEL SHOULD INVESTIGATE

I’m sharing this experience in hopes of helping others avoid the trauma we went through. We booked Hotel Morgana last-minute so we could attend Pope Francis’ viewing before heading home. We checked out around 3:15 AM on April 24, 2025 to catch an early flight.

While we were checking out, an unfamiliar man entered the lobby. The receptionist casually said he was “making sure everything was safe.” This man wore no uniform or professional attire. Was he a legitimate security for the hotel? Moments later, we walked toward our taxi, about 200 meters away. Just 100 meters from the hotel, at the intersection of Via Filippo Turati and Via Gioberti, I was assaulted and robbed. Someone grabbed my arm from behind, threw me to the ground, took my iPhone, ran.
We screamed and chased him back toward the hotel. Two nearby gentlemen tried to help, but it was too late. The thief had vanished.

We returned to the hotel immediately. The same “security” man stood outside, having witnessed the chase, and did nothing. The receptionist remained seated at the front desk, didn’t check on us, didn’t offer help. Only the two strangers who had tried to help earlier escorted us safely to our taxi.

I urge Hotel Morgana’s management to review the security camera footage from 3:05 AM to 3:35 AM on April 24, 2025. This incident should not be ignored.

Losing a phone is painful but the irreplaceable photos is worse.

The phone was last pinged on Via Sant'Anna 32, 80011 in Naples 2 days after the incident.

Don't bother with this hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE! we booked a 1 night stay for our last day in Rome at this \"4 star\" hotel. This place should barely be worthy of 3 stars.
Our room was located a block away from the Hotel, in a seedy looking building. They advertise 5 floors of rooms, but that seems to be their main building. They seem to have rented out and lightly renovated a side building, not even close to the hotel itself.
The room itself was incredibly cramped, with torn, dirty carpet padding on the walls and a claustrophobic bathroom. The shower was dirty and had no hot water (we didn't call the concierge because it was past 12am at the time).
The area around the hotel feels unsafe, broken beer bottles and garbage strewn around the street.
The hotel advertises having a gym, but rather they are contracted with a very barebones facility in another hotel.
The 2 concierge we dealt with gave us conflicting information about the taxi service and either were not knowledgable or willing to help with providing an alternative to taxi (they called and said taxis would be hard to get and we had to ask them repeatedly for an alternative before they mentioned a direct train line).
The only redeeming quality was that the bed was fairly comfortable

The property is in a very good location with excellent connect to Metro nearby and restaurants. The hotel is unfortunately not the standard I would have expected for 4 stars. Room cupboards were dusty. shower gels were not replaced and when asked for iron, the iron stand was probably 10 years old and did not function.

This is our second stay at this property and we love it. The Rome Termini is within walking distance. The staff is beyond accommodating and friendly. The rooms are small but clean and with all the necessary amenities. Definitely recommend it! They even assured pick up to and from airport (xtra fee) but the arranged all the logistics! Love it!

If you can evade this hotel defenetlly do it.
The staff at the front desk seems very helpfull and cheerfull, until the moment they have to deliver. They sold me airport transportation, It never arrived and they charged cash and would not return the money.
The wifi never works, the floor of the room is extreamlly dirty, the neghbourhood os very dangerous (words of the bell boy) the rooms are on a diferent buikding and it is very dangerous after 10pm.

The room was quite small but adequate for two. It was well furnished but did have a few dents and scratches here and there but overall it contained everything that we required and the maids did an excellent job of maintaining it on a daily basis. My only grievance would be with the bathroom it was just too small and was hard work to manoeuvre around. We had to sit on the toilet at an angle due to the basin being directly in front of it and then squeeze through the tight gap on the opposite side of the basin in order to enter the shower cubicle which was also very small. The staff were very polite helpful and attentive so can’t fault them whatsoever.

There were mixed reviews for this hotel but it was in a good location, only 5 mins walk from the station.
the hotel was clean and the maid cleaned our room every day with clean towels.
The room was small but we were out all day and only used it to sleep....
It would be helpful if there was a full mirror in the bedroom as the only mirror was in the bathroom.
There are restaurants around the area which are good for breakfast or a quick snack... overall a good hotel and I would stay here again.

There are 2 parts to this hotel, the main entrance has the reception. I was in the adjoining part which is 100 metres away. But l was helped with luggage and shown to my room. It is a decent size with good bathroom, and air conditioning. It is 2 min from the Roma Terminal and the area has lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was included and was a good standard. Definitely will use this hotel in the future

I travel to 69 countries and I always stay in 4 hotels . This was not a 4 star hotel at all . The room smells nicotine mixed with mold . The corridor carpet is dirty , and the walls have concrete patches . The facade is all deteriorated . This hotel should be shut down by the health department.

Lovely hotel close to Roma Termini. Service and staff were kind, helpful and professional. Stayed for two nights when we arrived in Rome and then spent another night prior to our departure from Rome.

The rooms were warm though, and the temperature was not self regulated.

Would highly recommend this comfortable hotel and would absolutely stay there again.

Friendly staff, close to the train station but away from the problems. Well kept property but with older taste. My second stay here. This stay the room had an interesting layout that could be unsafe. The toilet is a step up with marble floors, slippery with socks on and the tub is deep with nothing to grab onto to get out cautiously to marble floors. It was 1 night so nothing to complain but good to know for a future stay in a better room.

I sacrificed my entire non-refundable $3,300 reservation at Hotel Morgana to not stay at this property during my stay in Rome.
The hotel location is very sketchy - not safe at all. Very dirty part of town where I wouldn't dare walk in the evening.

The hotel itself is in dire need of maintenance- warm mini-fridge, peeling wallpaper, damaged walls, an TINY Rooms. I know this is Rome but we're talking MICROSCOPIC.

The unhelpful and unfriendly staff at the front desk won't help you with anything (including finding a cab service, which they call \"Tricky in Rome\" and shrug their shoulders beyond that).

This place's lobby is OK, but the rooms, location, and staff are in BAD shape. So bad that as I stated, I sacrificed my non-refundable $3,300 pre-payment to go stay at another property I found about 1 mile away that was not only cheaper, but was also cleaner, had more amenities, was a very nice & newly refinished facility, hd helpful staff, and a machine that called taxis for us.

Hotel Morgana is a terrible joke you play on someone you hate and has the non-refundable fares to prove it.

If you're sending your worst enemies or in-laws to Rome, I recommend Hotel Morgana.

This hotel says it has a “gym”. The gym is in a different hotel across the street. It doesn’t even have a single dumbbell. It has 1 multi use machine you cannot adjust and can only use one cardio machine at a time.
It’s only open 8 hours per day.
The rooms are TINY and not for more than 1 person. You can’t wash your hair in the shower without smacking your elbows on the walls. Don’t stay here.

Convenient location near train station, Metro and bus stops.
Bed was comfy, nice clean sheets.
Big fluffy towels.
Had all the basics you need for a city stay when the focus is the city, not the hotel.

Not so good:
One room out of two was not prepared.
Bathroom was tiny - get rid of the bidet!
Shower cubicle tired, needed a good descale and deep clean.
Room itself was also very small, very little space to put anything.

So this hotel stands out like a sore thimb in this area. It feels a little unsafe at nihgt as we were 2 girls alone but we got thru it. Its super close to bus station and metro when you get from airport to bus station you can walk tk this hotel in 5 minutes

The rooms were very and surprising spacious. It is walkable to Rome’s train station.
The staff was very helpful with what we we needed
