We arrived after a long train day and took a taxi to this place. It is a charming guesthouse! Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Set in a neighborhood on a very quiet street. The host is beyond accommodating and personally attends to you. As it is a guest house rather than a hotel, he walks you to your room and assists with your luggage.

We had to leave extremely early on check out day, he helped arrange a taxi for 4 Am and even offered to call the company at 3:30 in case they 'forgot'.

The restaurant has wonderful home made pizzas (also cooked by your host!). We chose the Mediterranean option with a nice salad on the side.

Due to a change of flights outside of our control, we did not get to experience the town. Driving through it, we could see the adorable shops and dining we had to miss! Oh well, we have to return! And this is where we will stay!

Winne the Pooh would love to stay ...

Room is spacious and clean. The family run hotel is in a quiet hillside neighborhood adjacent to Landstuhl Army Medical Center in the hills above the village. The rooms are in the semi-sunken basement but not too dark. No views of the hills outside but if you are here, you should be sight seeing or visiting people and places. Advantage of having parking space on the lot across the street so no big city hassles. Breakfast is sumptuous and included. They have in-house honey for sale and it's the best souvenir we picked up for the trip. You have to ship it in checked bags though as we found out the European airport security didn't like jams or honey in a jar.

Doors to rooms have to be locked with your room key from the inside. You cannot just open your room door from the inside without your key. If there was a fire, it would be difficult to get out of the room without inserting your room key. Difficult to get transportation from this place. No Ubers are available as this place is far from the downtown. We found it difficult to get taxi here. After we checked out at the required 10am, manager locked the door behind us so we could not get back in to ask for help to order a taxi. We finally got thru to order a taxi on our cell phone but took awhile to get a taxi to this place. Breakfast was good and room was clean.

Wonderful stay for Americans!

Our stay was perfect! The room was clean and we enjoyed having a balcony. The breakfast was more than we expected- eggs, bacon, yogurt, breads… larger and better quality than many American breakfasts. Dinner was delicious as well. The owner was kind and fluent in English. We would definitely enjoy returning to this hotel!

It seemed like a new property, and our room was ample in size. But the bed was an issue for us North Americans, not very friendly for a couple.

Food was limited to breakfast, and was ok, but not spectacular.

The host, though, was excellent, and tried to do as much for us as possible. Very cooperative. Added night lights, shower mat, and extra trash cans quickly after we had made the request.

Entrance into the hotel was a bit complicated in cold weather (below 0°C), when the locking mechanism stuck quite tightly, it took a lot of effort to turn the key and get the door unlocked. Fortunately, there was a buzzer available in case you couldn’t open the door. The manager either came, or activated a electric mechanism to make the door open.

It was an acceptable place, with excellent management who tried their best to make the stay comfortable.

Our stay here was very enjoyable. The owner was very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfy enough. The balcony was lovely. There’s free parking at the hotel’s parking lot right across the street. The free breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, breads, cereal, yogurts, etc. The owner always made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. I would stay here again when I’m in the area.

It's a pretty basic stay. Rooms and bathroom are large and roomy, but not a very comfortable bed and very, very budget and sparse furnishings. There were 2 of us, and only 1 pillow, 1 blanket, & 1 towel provided. And I couldn't get ahold of anyone to ask for a second set.

When we arrived at the hotel there was no one there. We waited about 45 minutes. When someone finally showed up, we were told our reservation had been cancelled. No rooms available. We were never notified by Hotels.com or the hotel. This was a huge inconvenience for us.

The hotel was so nice and inviting. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good too. They had a good verity of foods very filling. Only thing is we couldn’t figure out how to use the air conditioner lol. We will be staying at this hotel for future visits to the area!

Booked a no-smoking room but the room was smelling awfully.
Hotel is supposed to be smoke-free one.
Explanation given by the manager was that next door neighbor smoked in the balcony and smoke entered the room by a window left opened by the cleaning lady.
Remedy action on his side was a room air freshner.
No room-change available due to unavailability.

I absolutely loved my stay here. I popped in for a quick overnight stay and found a welcoming staff and comfortable and clean room waiting for me. There is a parking lot for guests directly across from the hotel and when you walk into the front door, you enter their restaurant area. The gentleman working checked me in and walked me to my room in order to explain a few things. The place has A/C if you require it and TV with both German and English channels for the guests who don't speak German. The bed was comfortable but be prepared for a European bed (two twins side by side), that should go without saying though. I had my own bathroom too.

Breakfast started at 0630 which was great, a nice assortment of pastries and yogurt with slices of meat and fruit. Perfect!! Check out was quick, i just handed him my keys and off I went.

I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to or through the Ramstein-Landstuhl area!

Not the best hotel in the area , but good if you get it for the right price. The location is quite and parking is across the street. Breakfast is minimal continental, but adequate. Biggest problemI had was finding the entry door....resturant was closed and no markiings on any of the doors finally started ringing doorbells till I.
got an answer.......HINT: Its the door in back next to the garage

An unexpected gem

This is a great place for a quiet stay. The room was not fancy but that was part of the appeal. Sometimes all you need is a quiet place to recover from the day's work. I found the hotel quite comfortable, clean and efficiently laid out. Every meal I had, breakfast or dinner, was very well prepared with fresh ingredients and always excellent taste. The staff is very friendly and I hope to come back soon. Keep up the great work.

I was hoping for more. It was cheap so thought I would save a few bucks and book here. Very basic room, heat was on a timer so would turn itself off after about ten minutes so you had to manually turn it back on. Woke up freezing every night. Breakfast was lacking as well. Some bread, a few pieces of meat and cheese. Also cereal and some yougart. I was very disapointed so I skipped it after the first day. Also room wasnt cleaned after the first day. I had to ask for new towels. I guess that's what I get for trying to save a buck.

Easy to find, ample parking across the street, and warm and friendly owners. VERY clean. Perfect location for exploring nearby castles and even a trip to France and the outlet mall. Manuel and his mother, Honey were the perfect host and hostess for our stay. The food and services were very good. Small TV, but we didn't go there to watch
TV, so it hardly mattered.

Nice quaint hotel that was in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and took care of you. The wifi was a little slow and the bedding was pretty Spartan. Otherwise this was a great place to stay for the price. Breakfast was simple, on time and lovely.

Great German Hotel!!!

It was a great hotel, clean and very welcoming. We arrived around 7pm and were a little lost at first when we checked in, because it's in the resturant, but the owners made us feel very welcomed. He showed us our room and let us know about the breakfast and asked if we wanted the breakfast earlier. It was quiet and I slept great! The breakfast was excellent so splurge on the 6€!
