We really enjoyed our stay! Staff were really friendly, everything was great. We stayed for 5 days and didn't have any complaints. The last night, we did have some very loud neighbors shutting the door loudly and just obnoxious knocking on each others' doors but that's not the hotel's fault. Just inconsiderate guests. We didn't add the breakfast option so not sure how that was. The pool is small but quiet and calm - relaxing. The hotel itself is in a great location - everything is pretty much walking distance (if you don't mind walking/exploring on foot of course). We would definitely stay here again! Recommending this place to family and friends.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The hotel offers a tea time in the afternoon (2:00-3:30pm daily) and it was a great experience, the fruit and snacks change daily. Location was very convenient to Ben Thanh market but removed enough that there wasn’t too much concern for noises at night.

Really nice hotel in a great location to explore Saigon. Few mins walk to the Ben Thien Markets. Also close to the War Museum, Post Office and Independence Palace. All well worth a visit. We also booked a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta - highly recommended. The hotel is seconds away from a great brewery. The local food markets have a great selection of local foods and cocktails / beer. Sky Deck also worth a visit. And sunset cocktails at The Rex Hotel.

I wish I had stayed more days here because it was absolutely luxurious! Unfortunately I stayed only one night on my way home to the US from Da Nang. From the moment I entered the lobby from the hubbub of HCM, it was immediately calming - from the wonderful subtle scent to the refreshing afternoon tea to the attentiveness of the staff to the rooftop jacuzzi/bar on essentially the 10th floor. Will definitely stay here for any returns to HCM city! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

So welcoming and attentive from the minute you are on their steps until the moment you leave. Breakfast is terrific and when I had to leave at 3:30 am to catch a flight, they had a sandwich, fruit, and coffee all packed up for me waiting at the front desk at no charge! I couldn’t recommend them any higher!

Was running a day late since I got held over in Korea. I contacted Silverland and they made it easy to hold my room since I missed check in. We showed up while they had tea break going and we got to join in on that. Some yummy treats and drinks. Every morning I’d go hit the gym across the street and always got greeted when I would come back. The room was very comfortable. Location was perfect. Short walk to anything you want. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. My last day was my bday and they surprised me with a cake and sang to me. I’ve never had anybody do that and every year for my bday I travel. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you to the entire staff! Cam on.

Mr Pham, Operations Mgr and his staff made our stay in Saigon most pleasant. Silverland Yen was conveniently located in District 1 and with easy walking directions we found many sights nearby. We took the Hop On/Off bus to explore Saigon and you can arrange this at the front desk (thanks Minnie).
Breakfast offerings were excellent and we enjoyed the afternoon tea. Our room on the 9th (top floor) was quiet and comfortable. The pool and rooftop bar was just above giving us a ‘cool-off’ from the heat.

The Silverland Yen Hotel is a bit dated but is very clean and well maintained. It is close to a large market and there are many dining options nearby. The breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent. However, what makes this hotel stand out is the service. The staff were all friendly, courteous, and extremely polite and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Our stay at Silverland Yen Hotel was okay, with some highlights but also a few drawbacks. We enjoyed our stay overall and got good sleep—the bed was very comfortable, which made a big difference. The daily tea time was really great, and the live music was exceptional—definitely standout features of the experience. The bamboo decor added a nice touch of charm, but some of the design choices in the room, especially the bathroom, didn’t make much sense and felt impractical.
Taking a shower in the spa bathtub was awkward, and getting out felt like a safety hazard. The gap between the bathtub and the glass window seemed like a poor design choice—it was not only inconvenient but also a spot where filth could easily collect.
The staff were welcoming and kind, but we couldn’t help feeling like other guests received more attentive and personalized treatment. Our interactions felt rushed, and the overall experience lacked that personal touch we were hoping for.

The people who run the show here are very hospitality oriented and work very hard to show their professionalism. The tea time is a very nice touch with amazingly tasty food. This area is a fairly good location with a wonderful juice bar/cafe right next door and only a 15 minute walk to the opera house and there are several markets close by. We were happy with everything.
