Good but no parking

Comfortable rooms in need of a few fixes, standard Turkish style breakfast. Reasonably quiet. Decent pool. Very conveniently located close to the central part of the beach promenade. Staff very nice and helpful. Contrary to the description however, there is no on-site parking available, and there may not be a parking spot in the narrow streets around the hotel if arriving late in the day.

The Gentleman Mehmet at the front desk was very accommodating, if wa asked for anything he did hia best accommodate us, even agreed to look after our luggage 5 hours before our book on time. Its not a new hotel but for the price its good. Location is great if you dont mind a bit of noise eapcially on the weekend. There are bars below and it can be very nosy until late at night.

Impossible parking in the street in front of the hotel. Big hardship.
Old not well taken care building. Many things missing in the rooms, horrible bathrooms with almost every thing missing from it. Rude reception. Nose from below that you cannot sleep before 1 or 2 am. Elevator is good for one person!! Language is impossible to fit in it.
Breakfast we rate 2.5 out of 5.
We will never go back to it. Highly not recommend.

BEWARE, it’s an absolute SCAM!

The manager here brought my son to tears and we almost slept on the street…

I was traveling with my 10yo-14yo 3 sons and it was their first time in Turkey. We arrived after a long day at 11:30pm, only for the manager to tell me that 2 out of my 3 kids “count as adults” since they 12 or older.

We were happy to be sharing the 2 double beds but he refused. He wanted us to book a second room — not just paying more, but making my two sons sleep in another room from me!!

The hotel is NOTHING like the pictures, it’s old and uncomfortable, and does not give the feeling of being safe enough to let me kids sleep in another room. There aren’t even deadbolt locks on the doors.

So it’s 11:450pm this man is saying we can’t check in until he gets another €400 for a second room for 2 nights. We end up in shouting match as I fight for the prepaid room and not to sleep on the street.

I only had €100 of emergency cash and being the weekend my debit card still hadn’t updated for using the cash machines anyway.

This man bribed the only cash I had just so we could get into a “bigger room that accommodates multiple adults” — again it was my kids. And then all we got was the same configuration but with a rollaway bed added.

The room was directly above the bar/restaurant and extremely loud until 2am.

The next day he saw us and confronted me for more money because he had “miscalculated the rate”. I can literally say it was the worst hotel experience.

On the Expedia website, it mentions free self parking on site. There is no on site parking and extremely limited street parking close by. When we arrived, we managed to park 20 minutes walk away. We did find a suitable parking space, 5 minutes walk on the way to Aqua Dream Water Park. If we knew about the limited parking, we would have chosen a different hotel.

Rooms were clean and serviced everyday.

Rooms can be noisy until the early hours which was okay for us but not if you have young children.

Close to the beach which was good and lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Hotel served its purpose well, air conditioned room and good clean wash room. Breakfast was not the best but there is variety of restaurants surrounding the hotel. Wifi connection was good, good pool area, there is a 24 hour mini mart below the hotel with great reasonable prices compared to others and are stocked with all you will need, they are also up for a friendly little chat as well. The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels replacing the used ones. Hotel was relatively quiet in the night (no loud or fussy guests), i was on the 5th floor so the surrounding bars did not cause much of a problem either. Gentleman working the night shift is great, helped me with a late night check in. Had a broken shower from the previous guests. I notified him and he had it replaced within the hour. Would recommend for others. Good location, not too far from the main strip (roughly a 5 minute walk), the beach is a 2 minute walk from the backside of the hotel and some good dining options in the evening. The bar below serving steaks or popeyes. Take your pick. Thank you to the staff for a lovely stay.

The property had very small beds which weren't even queen size and they called them king size. Secondly the lift would frequently get stuck in between and the staff was least bothered. A woman got stuck and no help was there for 15mins and when they arrived they couldn't override the lift.

It was our first trip to Marmaris so didn’t really know the area. We paid £45 per night including breakfast staying w nights. The hotel itself was clean and well presented. The check in was great and we got upgraded because of hotels.com gold member, the room was big with a wrap around balcony and we had a sea and pool view. Our only niggles would be that the bed wasn’t very comfy and they could improve the standard of pillows and add tea and coffee facilities to the room. Our room was floor 2 and we struggled with wifi, it was fine on the ground floor - but for us this is a big frustration and did impact our stay. Overall the hotel was great for the price however, a huge watch out if booking - there is extremely loud music from around 9pm-12am every evening from the restaurant below the hotel which impacts sleep if you are early birds! Such a shame because this would stop us staying again.
After exploring Marmaris next time we would look to stay nearer the old town because of location - If you like to party until early hours this is a great spot and we would recommend however, it just didn’t work for us.

Stuff were so kind and helpful, foom was bigger than we thought and clean, we booked just B&B so I can tell breakfast was delicious full Turkish breakfast with some cereals if you choose, location is perfect for shoppers , there are many bars,restaurants (I strongly advise Taj Mahal Indian restaurant and Mandorin Chinese restaurant which is on the top floor of Taj Mahal) if you would like to swim in the sea you will be guiet away but there is a swimming pool in hotel not so big just enough yo cool you down.there is a pool bar.

I stayed here solo as I was coming to see my dentist for a few days and thought I’d have a couple of extra days after I’m the sunshine. Unfortunately my room was not up to expectations. There was a blanket on the bed just about big enough for a dog to cover me. The bathroom had long dark hairs on the floor, the shower had no hook for the shower head. The hotel has balconies all the way round and I was given a room with just a window right above a very noisy bar with loud music so had to sleep with ear buds in every night. There is a fridge in the room and a wardrobe so it’s very basic. I only went to breakfast once as it was very basic and not my taste. I ended up changing my flights after I’d seen my dentist as I found the whole place very depressing with no balcony to sit out on. If you don’t mind basic and slightly rustic then that’s fine. Wouldn’t stay here again sorry.

Seren Sari's location in Marmaris is absolutely ideal! Central to everything but quiet at the same time. A 2 min walk to seafront area (can see from hotel). On the main shopping street, and a 20 minute stroll to the marina area(or 50tl by taxi). We booked at an excellent rate so cant complain about value for money!!
Upon arrival at the hotel,we noticed how modern, clean and well maintained Serin Sari hotel is. The pool area was spotless and water, crystal clear. Check in was painless and we had a choice of rooms as the hotel was quiet when we arrived. We opted for one of the larger rooms with a beautiful balcony area and view in block B while our friends chose a room in the main hotel. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Wifi was really good, but didnt extend up to our chosen room. We had to go to the corner of the balcony for a signal. The turkish breakfast included in price was tasty and very well presented. There is a shop downstairs that also change money at the best rates. The only thing we weren't happy with was the staff in the restaurant adjoining hotel, but no part of the hotel, hassled us each time we walked by, because we ate and had a drink there on our arrival, they felt they owned us for the week. They stopped as we kept ignoring them. This however, is the culture when passing by most businesses in marmaris. No reflection on this beautiful hotel! Would love to return soon!!

Returning guests ... Straight forward and easy check in process. Room was lovely and clean, in a boutique style. Pool slightly small for kids but everything clean and had no problem with getting a bed. Breakfast is lovely although typical Turkish style so may not be to everyone's liking especially fussy people/ kids but breakfasts available at near by restaurants for only a few pounds. ...Large balcony and within easy walking distance to the front. Restaurants, bars within walking distance and hotel very central.
Would definitely return again. ...

Would recommend this hotel ... Good location, close to the beach ...within a two minute walk . Close to all shops, restaurants, pubs etc . Hotel is clean and modern. Rooms are little small but adequate. Quite large Balcony attached to my room which caught the sun nicely. Small fridge, safe and air con in the room . Breakfast in with the price had a great selection ( typical Turkish ) bread, cheese, meat, olives , jams, cereals etc. Pool area is also modern, quiet but gets the sun and plenty sun loungers but not on top of eachother . Will be staying again

It is a very nice hotel , furniture is new and very clean and the breakfast buffet is marvellous,but there are things that must be improved for the room service.
We stayed 4 nights there and we did not get the daily water bottles and shampoos that usually are provided when room service is done.
The bed sheet was not enough to cover me and my wife, although we asked for an extra one but we did not get it.
But overall the hotel is recommended and as experience its average good.

Teknisyen Murat kardeşimize de çok teşekkür ederiz her türlü konuda yardımcı oldu güler yüzlülüğü için kendilerine teşekkür ediyorum. Biz 4 arkadaş geldik güzel ve keyifli bi tatil geçirdik yorumlarda lavabo kokuyor gibi yorumlar gördük ama biz 2 oda tutmamıza rağmen böyle bi problem yaşamadık. Oda temizliği gayet yeterliydi. Tavsiye olarak klima temizliğine biraz özen gösterebiliriz tozlu ve içeri toz üflüyor gibiydi bir de havuz saatleri 8-9 a kadar uzatılabilir teşekkür ederim

Klima odayı asla soğutmadı, sıcak üflüyordu. Duş başlığı kırıktı çalışmıyordu. duş alırken tüm su banyoya doluyordu. Temizlik vasattı sadece yatak düzeltiliyor çöp alınıyordu yerler temizlenmiyordu.

Otele giriş kısmında yarım saat beklemek zorunda kaldık odamız hazır değildi. Temizlik görevlileri sabah odanıza pat diye girebilir yaşandı çünkü kapı çalma ya da bekleme gibi adetleri yoktu sanırım kat temizliği yapıldığı zaman aşırı ses yapıyorlar. Kahvaltı standart çok fazla birşey beklemeyin. odalarda ütü yok ve balkonlar çok pisti. yastıklar rahatsızdı.. havuzu güzeldi sakin bir otel. yazdıklarım dikkate alınırsa daha iyi olabilir. Sahile yürüme mesafesinde zaten .. olumsuzluklar olsa da kafanızı dinleyebileceğiniz bir oteldir.
