We stayed at this hotel for two nights only and wished our stay there was longer. It was the best hotel we stayed at in Tunisia. There was a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel itself was lovely, everywhere. The rooms are well appointed, and importantly the bed were comfortable, and we slept well! One evening we sat in the bar and musicians played, mostly instrumental songs, and young people were there to encourage older individuals to dance. The atmosphere was lovely. One of the standout things for us was there was no smoking inside. This made our stay infinitely more pleasant. The staff were lovely, sorted any issues quickly and wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We loved it here. Information for other travellers: safe key is 3TND a night (November 2025), and the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low (showers were still pleasant, but I chose not to wash my hair there as it would have taken ages).

Das Hotelzimmer war leider nicht sauber und es gab viele Insekten. Teilweise roch es im Zimmer unangenehm, fast nach Fäkalien, ohne dass ich wusste, woher es kam. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Herrn an der Rezeption sowie die Putzfrau – beide waren sehr freundlich und korrekt.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, allerdings war die Auswahl eher begrenzt. Die Kellner behandeln Gäste deutlich besser, wenn man Trinkgeld gibt – ohne wirkt der Service eher gleichgültig.

Der Pool war nicht sauber, zudem waren einige Fliesen beschädigt. Auch die Liegen am Pool waren teilweise zerrissen. Der Strand an sich war okay, jedoch wird man dort oft von Verkäufern angesprochen, die teilweise sehr aufdringlich sind.

Negativ finde ich auch, dass ein Mitarbeiter namens „Rio“ Gäste dazu drängt, gute Bewertungen für das Hotel zu schreiben – das wirkt unseriös.

Alles in allem ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und entspricht nicht dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für den verlangten Preis kann ich es nicht empfehlen.

Well done Plaza Hotel

Overall fantastic. A bit of difficulties at first but later things got much better and me and my wife enjoyed our stay and we wished it lasted longer. The lady at the room service was absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful, providing us with info about Houmt Esouk. She makes this hotel proud. Mostafa, the room service was friendlier too. The food is absolutely delicious and to our taste. The hotel layout is out of this world and amazing.
The swimming pools are very nicely maintained and the beach too with its lounge. I have walked along the beach to look at the other hotels but Plaza Hotel remained outstandingly nicer.
Our balcony overlooks the side of the pool but the sea was right in front of us and it was nice waking up to that.
I liked very much so the peace and quiet and the ability to sleep without any disturbances.
The reception staff were also helpful and so was the guest relation gentleman who was all ears to any concerns.
I spoke to many residents and they all share the same views and many of them if not all, it was not their first time there.
Although I like the change but I would definitely go back there.
I think they could do more to publicise their services as this is not well reflected on the website.
I am surprised that I could not see English people in that hotel but from conversations we had with some at the airport on our return, we stayed at the best hotel.

3 stars for most things but 5 for the spa!

Solo age 29 canadian for 4 days, was looking to relax after a long trip around Tunisia. My all inclusive experience is one time in Riviera May and another in Punta Cana.

Crowd:
90% old retired French people.. not a party or family hotel.. i was down for it as during the day it was peaceful around the pool to read. Oh and they play old french music all the time to satisfy the crowd, that sucked hard

Pool/beach:
Pool was fantastic very big and clean..lots of chairs available and in good condition.
Beach is nice sand is soft but big oops tons of algae on the shore made it look bad (early october)..some other hotels nearby did not have any

Amenities:
Basic all inclusive activities but enjoyed the tennis as there were many courts.. but cant believe i had to pay 25 TND for a hour in an all inclusive.. cmon..
The big upside is the spa it is obviously the heart of the resort..much higher quality than anything else the hammam experience was amazing and there are so many options. Gym was too tiny/minimal

Food/drinks:
No free \"à la carte\" restaurant for an all inclusive is a big downside.. but the buffet was good always found something nice.. it is mostly tunisian influenced food which is good but not the biggest variety. Dont expect pork in a muslim country. Also drinks is a disaster i suspect the bartenders never drank in their life.. they were clueless on proportions and juices arent in the fridge..oh and they dont work with a bracelet you need to sign an invoice each time..?!

The staff here really made my stay memorable. Everyone was so incredibly kind and it all felt very personal. Titi, who welcomed guests into the dining room ( in their own languages ) and hosted the theme nights was a real stand out for me. He was just a really cool person. Also, Ali who worked in the dining room was so sweet to a solo traveler like me. He l went out of his way and made these incredible napkin sculptures for me! It was really special and completely made my trip!

It was really good, the \"all-inclusive\" was generally unclear. It did include alcohol and drinks, but that was not entirely obvious.

Food was so-so, but pool and beach were really nice.

Lots of families, would not recommend for a romantic weekend.

Box Animation was well done and had lots of fun activities for kids and young adults

Comfortable and convenient, but no wows

Everything is average in this hotel, quite good standard, but nothing charming or surprising. However, few highlights:
- The room was large, comfortable and clean. Very appropriate
- The swimming pool was very nice. Cleverly designed, suitable for both kids and adults at the same time. This is the best feature in the hotel
- There is an interesting collection of paintings, around the reception area. This stood out as a very beautiful feature in an ugly building

This hotel is just for summer time

I have never seen like this hotel. It is said that this hotel is 4 stars but the actual rate must be 2 stars. It can be satisfactory if travel with big groups but not for solo or small group. It looks like a cemetery. Very cold. said on web that there is heating and WiFi but not ture. I complained to hotel reception but they never support. A friend told me that hotels in Tunisia never operate heaters in winter to decrease costs. I will never recommend it

我们一早的飞机，早上到酒店的时候离入住时间还有很久。酒店工作人员非常亲切的为我们办理了入住手续，并在等待时间为我们提供了免费的早餐。
酒店后门出去步行1分钟就是沙滩，有很多付费项目可供选择。11月中旬的天气依然能够下海游泳，沙滩很细，海水清澈。
酒店里儿童房的工作人员非常有耐心的陪我女儿玩了很久，儿童房开放时间内可以完全托管。
总体来讲，对酒店很满意

Essen sehr mangelhaft, jeden zweiten Tag das gleiche, keine würzung der Lebensmittel, Fleisch und Omlett oft nicht richtig durch gebraten.
Nationale Getränke (Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite) immer leer.
Bei Alkohol merkt man keine Wirkung.
Am Ankunfttag, war unser Zimmer nicht sauber, schwarze Haare waren überall auf dem Fußboden.
Dusche und viele andere Fugen im Hotel schimmeln.

Strand und das komplette Land an sich, übersät mit Müll.

Verkäufer sehr aufdringlich und hauen einen sehr krass über die Ohren. ( z.b. 2 Tücher 70€)

Mitarbeiter: die meisten sind nett und kümmern sich schnell, denoch wird man oft einfach vergessen und man muss nachfragen wo den die getränke bleiben.

Ich muss ehrlich sagen, Anhand der Bewertungen und Bilder im Internet, waren wir fasziniert, aber Vorort sehr enttäuscht.
Und ja, ich verstehe selbst nicht, wie manche so gute Bewertungen schreiben können, wenn so viele Deutsche im Urlaub nur geschimpft haben und wie wir gesagt haben, noch einen Urlaub dort machen wir definitiv nicht.

Un vrai quatre-étoiles local j’ai déjà séjourné au Plazza en 2006 l’hôtel ne cesse de subir des rénovations pour être à la page l’animation est bien la nourriture est correcte malgré que l’on est en plein mois d’août. Seul bémol la plage de ce côté de Lille n’est pas terrible car il y a beaucoup de pierres il faut donc s’équiper de chaussons de protection mais sinon le restaurant de la plage est juste magnifique nourriture variée il se transforme en Beach Party le soir.

Contrary to many reviews, the food served at the buffet was varied and delicious. For someone who likes sea food, I was not disappointed. The salad and desert bars were also varied.
Most of the staff were friendly and nice (some of them were nicer with foreign tourists).
Massages at the Thalasso Center were overpriced.
It would have been more appreciated if a clearer description of the different available amenities (such as the traditional coffee shop) was provided during check-in.

Très bel hôtel avec un accueil digne des grands palaces.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et au calme.
J'ai testé la cure thermale à la demie journée, un super moment accompagné de beaucoup de bienveillance.
L'hôtel se trouve à 25 min environ de Houmet Souk, la zone touristique et à 30 min en voiture de l'aéroport

Je vais d'abord parler des points positifs, le calme dans l'entourage immédiat des chambres, la qualité gastronomique des repas (le hic dans un établissement de cette catégorie la qualité du jus du PDJ) tout est frais et là bam du mélange poudre avec de l'eau pas de l'orange pressée) sinon pour le reste RAS. Les points négatifs, un accueil oui mais en demi-teinte, on vous donne la clé et après c'est à vous de fonctionner au radar (la clé d'électricité qui ne fonctionne pas si vous n'en bloquer pas une autre), ça éviterait la \"panne d'électricité\", un morceau de savon coincé sous ma semelle à l'endroit du bas de porte juste en la refermant, vous en avez plein des doigts, l'accompagnement jusqu'à ma chambre aurait été un plus sans se contenter de me montrer le chemin du doigt, l'attitude du serveur quant à sa manoeuvre pour pousser à la consommation du régime DP, un alcool c'est pas assez, heureusement que le fait soif se faisait sentir pour boire un coca zéro. Je lui ai rétorqué ironiquement, \"2 c'est assez ou il vous en faut trois\". Difficile d'arracher un sourire des serveurs du restaurant et la qualité du lit (dur dur fait Alex et les Lézards), un hôpital aseptisé sans ornement de couleur comme une gravure ou un tableau et aucune carpette sur le sol. Triste.... La confiance régnant, la réception m'a autorisée à régler ma nuitée le lendemain matin et pas au moment du check-in, c'est appréciable. La clientèle clubs dont je fais partie ne se mélange pas aux hôtels.

L’hôtel est très propre. Les conditions sanitaires sont plus que respectées et on se sent en sécurité. La chambre était très spacieuse et agréable. Le petit déjeuner était bon et le service également. Le seul point négatif était le manque d’infrastructures à l’extérieur des chambres et là plage qui n’est pas au cœur de l’hôtel. Très bon rapport qualité prix tout de même.

Hôtel conforme à nos attentes. Très belles chambres. Personnel très à l’écoute et ne sais pas quoi faire pour nous être agréable. Quelques désagréments suite à ces moments particulièrement difficiles suite au COVID mais qui visiblement vont être réglées au plus vite. Non posso dire niente di male per questo hotel... Djerba Plaza Thalasso & SPA e un eccellente hotel.. Personale gentilissimo, il cibo delizioso, sempre fresco e c’è per tutti i gusti, le camere sono pulitissime e spaziose...Ho passato 8 giorni in questo hotel e sono contentissima, relax totale.. Complimenti a tutto il staff... Siete bravissimi!!! Raccomando Djerba Plaza Thalasso a tutti ..

Bel hôtel dans sa globalité, la piscine est super autant pour les grands que les petits ! Certains des serveurs sont très agréable ! Les points faibles sont les buffets qui ne sont pas très variés, il n'y a pas de bon cocktails, aucun jus de fruits frais ! Et le pire c'est l'accueil à la réception, et lors de chaque échange avec eux, jamais vu ça !

Etablissement super , nous avons fait beaucoup d'activités pour seulement 3 jours , la nourriture est tres bonne et diversifiée les tunisiens sont super sympa et on a beaucoup rigolé , nous sommes arrivés vers 2h du matin et aucun soucis pour rejoindre nos chambres , vraiment merci nous reviendrons bientot
