literally on the other side of the road from the old town, one minute walk! 15 minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes from the airport bus so super convenient for transport. The room (1B) faced the road but it had triple glazing so sound wasn't a major issue but you'd not be able to sleep with window open. The room is small but functional and super clean. It served the purpose for a short overnight.

To noisy for a good nights sleep

If you want a good nights sleep, avoid this hotel. Very Noisy at all hours - late at night (after 11pm) and early - (before 7am) - conventioneers or party groups... everything can be heard in the rooms.

Very tired building.
Bathroom space very poorly utilised.
Beds were terrible, bed in the shape of a U, unbelievable these days. Don’t expect this from a Silken hotel. Very disappointed

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, good breakfast buffet. I liked the location of this hotel on the Plaza San Juan. Plenty of bars and cafes in the neighbourhood. You're on the edge of the tourist area and its still easy to find parking on street. There are also some nice green spaces nearby. Salamanca itself is a beautiful old city, full of surprises. I will just caution against room 118 which, being above the breakfast room and near to the laundry, is not as quiet as you might like.

Really comfortable place to stay in Salamanca. The staff were really friendly and helpful to us during our stay. We used the hotel as a base for exploring around the area and they were happy to store our luggage for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Ok. But I could have chosen a better hotel in the area. It didn't have the facilities my very cheaper hostel in Madrid had. Ie coffee..tea making sevice.Bed not very comfortable. Tried breakfast very limited. Best thing about place was bathroom ..spacious and location good.But loads of hotels nearby were better.

The hotel is a great facility within close proximity to town. Some may find it a bit far from the center but it is just right and guarantees a quiet night’s sleep. 10 min walk from most attractions with large and spacious facilities. Breakfast should be included for the price! Love the candies & chocolate touch!

The hotel has a good location as you can walk to the plaza Mayor in a few minutes and all the other points of interest.. The room is spacious and clean . Air conditioning worked well but as it’s getting a bit colder I could not switch it to heating. The WiFi worked well most of the time. I think it’s a bit noisy in the hotel as you could hear running water from other peoples bathrooms. The breakfast was good value. The young woman on reception was very friendly and helpful .

I have always rated this Hotel mainly due to location. However there was a problem this time. I had booked 2 rooms, one for my daughter for her and two children (11 & 14) which included an extra Bed. Breakfast was included and pre-paid. On checking out I was informed the room was a double and we would have to pay more. We booked a double with an extra bed and breakfast for one adult and two children. The female receptionists (slim with glasses) attitude was a disgrace, she was having none of it, would not listen to me all she could say was that her records was for only a double room. I pointed out my confirmation but she wasnt having it. She then said we could go and she would charge my card anyway. At this point I am livid and insisted she ring Expedia and I insisted she did it now. During the conversation, it was clear their opinion is the same as mine, although the receptionist was still arguing. Expedia confirmed they would settle. receptionist still insisting her system was right and couldnt accept the Hotel or the receptionist had made the mistake. No word of apology and still quite stroppy - Not her fault attitude. I am reviewing my booking in August and am not booking at this Hotel in October.

I lived in Salamanca for a year as an exchange student at the university. I remember how expensive it was on my student budget to sit at a cafe in the plaza mayor. This trip has been amazing! Staying in nice hotel, eating in nice places, and having a drink in the plaza mayor every night! I’ve come a long way since I was 19. But this hotel was awesome!!

Pretty good location. Close enough to sights and restaurants. Easy access to station, walk or taxi.
Room OK but choice of light grey laminate flooring a big mistake as it showed all marks and dirt before the daily clean.
Building and decorating work in progress so quite a lot of noise at times, but if this is improving the hotel it's good. I think that the reception staff or management should have warned us/apologised about it.

The location is great, the staff is great, the room was very nice except for the fact that it had to be 85°F inside even with the windows open and the beds were only slightly better than sleeping on the cobblestone road in front of the hotel. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Great location; easy to come and go

I lived in Salamanca for years, but I haven't been back in awhile. I was a bit nervous to stay in Plaza de San Juan Bautista as we used to go pre-drinking there because it was cheaper, but it was fine. I had no problems walking back to the hotel even at night with my daughter. It was quiet, we came and went as we pleased, all the taxi drivers know it by name, and it's less than 5 minutes walking from the Plaza Mayor.

The hotel is very well located and easy to get to. The air conditioning was wonderful, which was a must in the hot weather. Rooms are not very big but still comfortable. Everything was very clean and beds are very good.We had a balcony and it was great.

Our hotel room view was the plaza de Juan Bautista. The room was spacious with shampoo, bar soap, shower cap, shower sponge, shoe shine and a box of tissue. We love the breakfast buffet! The hotel was so close that we go back to freshen up in the middle of the day.

Hotel''s associated parking full so had to pay more for alternative.Air conditioning in room not fully effective and appeared to malfunction overnight. Had to request chambermaid to clean the bath and also not to leave our room door wide open for security reasons when she was cleaning another room some distance away.
Disappointed there were no English TV channels as we have found this facility even in some host as.
The hairdrier was held together with tape which unfortunately had parted rendering the appliance unusable.
Otherwise adequate and buffet breakfast OK.

Perfect location

This hotel is what you would expect, being in the centre of Salamanca. Two niggley problems, the first our toilet would constantly overflow, so we had to turn the toilet inflow water off shortly after each flush, and the second, the bathroom door was a glass door! Our biggest problem though was the waterproof under sheet that was on the double (two singles pushed together) bed. It was so uncomfortable and noisy, is was like sleeping on a tarpaulin. If we were staying for more than the one night it would have been taken off. The most ironic part was we had a child's bed in the room for our son, and his bed didn't have a waterproof under blanket.

Great Overnight Stay

Excellent location for visiting the Historic centre of Salamanca. Very helpful friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Our only complaint was that we booked a non smoking room but when we arrived the room had a smoky smell but leaving the windows open for a few hours fixed the problem. The room itself was very good and clean and the bathroom was larger than the average hotel bathroom.

I stayed in this hotel for one night before starting my master's program in Salamanca. The hotel is in a good location, clean room, good food, and friendly staff. The only tip I will give is breakfast is not included in the hotel price. Overall, a great experience!

All around good hotel

This hotel is in a very good location. Only one road away from the main streets/shops etc. But quiet enough not to get disturbed at any point by the nightlife.
The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, in my opinion looking a little bit rundown from the outside. However, it was lovely. Rooms were clean and ours was surprisingly big(draw back being two single beds put together) as Spain often does. Although we were offered the chance to move rooms to have a double. But didn't want to risk a smaller room as I think we were rather lucky in the one we got - I think perhaps it would have normally been a family room.

Room service was very good value, and again surprisingly good food. A good mixture of Spanish and international style dishes to suit all.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were all very polite. The receptionists knew some Spanish to help us along when we struggled, but didn't speak English the whole time. Which was nice.

Overall this is a good hotel and definitely good value.

The hotel is tucked away on a side street right near the major centers of Salamanca. It was a 5 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice and included some soap, shampoo, etc. All for a VERY reasonable price. If you are coming in by train, it's a bit confusing to get here and it's a bit of a walk especially with luggage. If you have a lot of stuff with you, definitely consider taking a taxi.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, facil acesso e super tranquilo para ir a todo lugar a partir do endereço.

O quarto é maravilhoso com uma cama de casal super confortavel, banheito bem higienizado, roupas de cama tb.

Apenas a tereceira \"cama\" que é um sofá cama , poderia ser um pouco mais confortavel.

Mas no geral, tudo ótimo e com um belo café da manhã em que vc tem muitas opcoes para comer 😋
