Generally helpful staff can help provide assistance to make up for the staff - the bar comes to mind - who stay busy disappearing into back rooms to avoid the guests. But the helpful staff members well make up for their more elevated colleagues.

This was my first time to visit Djerba and I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very helpful, room was beautiful, and food options were delicious. The only thing we were a bit disappointed was the entertainment wasn't enough. However, our stay was very relaxing and refreshing. Thank you!

Very pleasant and relaxing. We stayed for 5 days and were very content of the hotel staff and the service. The gym equipment is something you can work on. The facilities are old. If the hotel is far away from the lobby, there is no internet. Internet facilities should be definitely improved.

The floor in our rooms hadn't been cleaned. There was long black hair throughout the room. I told the room relations woman at the front desk and she had someone come right away to clean the room. Our fridge didn't work and that was also sorted out quickly.

This is the review from my recent experience. That I have had during my stay at the hotel. The property is rated as 5 stars hotel but the real it's not at all. It's probably 1 star out of the 5. It's seems like a wow hotel on the pictures but unfortunately it's not . Property management poor .you book something that you expect. But you're totally on a different page . And it will take them forever to get your problem solved and looked after. considering the money that you pay it's not even worth it. And it's a Rip off. All that you hear sorry sorry .
Regards safety , I consider that due to the issue that accurate with me . equipment not well maintained and even the first emergency respond doesn't work ..not sure what's wrong with them and what they're trying to do with it.my experience with this hotel was like not even sure why I stayed there for some reason .got stuck . Stuff wise they're doing their best to keep up with the costumer .my understanding expedia have to receive those comment and cross exam them with the big attention that way they're aware of what's going on with their costumer. When we choose Expedia we know that the service is the best that we expect .

Poor service and cleanliness, mediocre stay

We came for 2 days and changed rooms three times in 24hours. The first room was one of the furthest from the reception and main leisure places, the toilet wasn't flushing, and we had two separate single beds. We got moved the next morning to another room, which was better but when we came back in the evening it smells like fried food and we couldn't sleep with the smell. They brought in a technician and someone gave us air freshener...Luckily we got moved to another room late at night, which was so much better. The buffet at the restaurant was okay and there were flies everywhere. The beach area and swimming pools were really nice with a view of the sea, but the sea was dirty. We ordered fries and after having waited for 30min by the pool went to speak to the waiter. They had forgotten us. They brought the food a few minutes later and the waiter said \"you are not entitled to be angry because you are on holiday\", which was the icing on the cake. Apparently, everyone in town knows the Ulysse branch is not good, and I would recommend staying at the other Radisson Blu, which seems much better.

Beautiful hotel on the beach with amenities and good people. Room was clean and specious. Hotel is close to old city center and Midoun. Simple and quiet get away island. Ulysse is the destination in Djerba for my future travel. Good breakfast buffet and restaurants Dhuha in guest relations was so kind to give us an early check in and a welcome drink made us feel home.

\"5 stars !!\" Can't be.

It was not good experience.
The service was slow and yiu need to remind them always about your requests.
The room was cleaned probably but the bed sheets were not replaced daily.

The air conditioning system was very bad. We spend a night in hot condition due to ita failure.

The good things are,the have nice natural curing facilities and many restaurants. Nice swimming pool and beach access.
Taxis are available in front of the hotel.

Great location if you like swimming, no night life

When I arrived I was surprised that at hotel reception he greeted me with my name. This was my first wist to this hotel.

Hotel is at nice location with own beach and very nice view.

Service is excellent if asked somthing I got it. I asked a room with better wifi and without question I got it.

I had only one problem at check out my credit card was not working and I had to use other card. I used non working card at airport in Europe so it was hotel issue.

An old hotel, not a 5 star service

The building by itself looks ok, but it's very old hotel that needs serious renovations.
We were not so satisfied by the service of house keeping, we requested for extra bed sheet and the bed sheet they brought had pinkish stain.
This was addressed to to the hotel, but it was a disappointment from Radisson Blu.
Morning buffet breakfast was very basic and average ( only hit fresh omelet was very good)

We only spent one night in djerba and really loved this hotel. It's beautiful, clean, and a friendly staff. The beach is gorgeous and grounds are superb. It's one of the best experiences I ever had. The restaurant took a request and prepared a special dinner for my boyfriend. The breakfast in the morning was the best I had in Tunisia. Loved the omelette station. It was just a great time, and I wish I stayed there longer.

Very nice and peaceful hotel at the beach. Staff is very well taking care of everyones requests. The beach is very quite but a bit dirty around the hotel. The SPA is ok, but need a brush up with the facilities. All together the hotel is a good chance to take of for a week and relaxe.

A very good safe choice...but highly erratic servi

The hotel has pretty much anything ... Beach, pool, beautiful location....but in addition a truly awesome spa and some great restaurants. The Tunisian restaurant at the basement was simply outstanding. Restaurant Neptune was very good for lunch but a disappointment in the evening. Breakfast was fantastic.
Now the minuses - like any hotel in emerging markets, most of the personnel are very service minded and want to provide a great service. But then you have the few rotten apples who got their job because they know someone in the management (a brother or a cousin) and hence know they are untouchable and can do anything to spoil a good experience for the customer. Just too sad that what otherwise would have been a great week can be soiled by some jerks who have no sense of where they would be if this was a really competitive job market.
I doubt I will return ... Not sure other places are much better, but I'm willing to try ...

A Magnificient Stay

The hotel was amazing and palatial and right on the Mediterranean sea. The hotel staff was magnificent, always ready to help and always smiling, very courteous. Mr. Aarbi, the manager was very kind and had a solution to any issue I had. The rooms were very nice and I had a terrace; the beds were very comfortable...the food was excellent and plentiful and varied...only draw back was my room was isolated at one end of the building...8.5 overall score

practice staff a descrimination towards people, communication is very bad, and the worst we had to leave the hotel because the director did not want my wife bathes with an outfit reserved thing that is not indicated in booking conditions

The only solution proposed by the director himself is to leave the hotel !!!

I spent 3 night in the hotel. It is very clean, staff very polite and helpful. Rooms are relaxing and well decorated. Balcony with sea view is excellent but still can hear the relaxing wave sound from garden view rooms. Breakfast buffet is tremendously amazing. A credit for this hotel.

The hotel has some good facilities and we received very good service from the room staff and by the pool.

However we felt the reception staff were a little hostile and not helpful. They appeared to be annoyed that we were asking questions in English, when we tried some french they were a little more friendly. But not by much.

If you have trouble booking a taxi there are many taxis which drive near and outside the hotel e.g. for going out at dinner time. It costs 15 dinars to get to the airport and 5 dinars to Houmt Souk.

Exchange money at check in as they expect a tip when you go to your room.

The gym is very basic and old (not 5 star), make sure the door is shut to ensure the aircon works. Otherwise the room can get very hot.

In terms of food, I agree with many of the comments made so far. It is very expensive, we ended up going to Dar Ali hotel just opposite the hotel for a basic meal (opens at 7) but alot cheaper. Also La lagune or Les Palmiers in Midoun.

For lunch I would suggest going to Houmt Souk (only 6 dinars one way).

There is a small shop opposite the hotel where we bought bottles of water and snacks.

Great location breakfast not 5 star rating I was upgraded to a sea facing room as the first one was quite dark .thank you to the gentleman on reception for letting me have this at no extra charge.housekeeping was very good all staff were smart and well groomed although some could do with lessons on customer care .it didn't bother me to much that hardly anyone.spoke english but it got a little frustrating at times I dont think I would go back to that particular hotel due to the lack of choice in the dining room .

Very nice hotel, diner buffet was not to good but i feel that this was probably due to lack of guests, which seems to be a problem at all hotels in Tunisia at the moment. My only real problem that i had though was that the water in the indoor pool was to cold, and at this time of year the outdoor pool was understandably freezing!!

Les responsables réception ne sont pas attentifs aux demandes des clients.
Il n'y a aucun service de navette depuis et pour l'aéroport, alors que cela est mentionné sur leur site.
Autrement la restauration est très correcte et le personnel très agréables.
Les tarifs pratiqués par l'hôtel pour les activités extérieures sont éxorbitants.

Nous avons réservé un séjour pour une nuit dans cet hôtel nous pensions passer un très bon séjour ça n'a pas été le cas le personnel très mal aimable aucun sourire nous avions réservé la chambre à partir de 13h nous avons dû attendre deux heures avant d'avoir notre chambre de plus le réceptionniste nous a fait la réflexion comme quoi nous avions réservé sur votre site et que nous avions payé pas cher ce ne sont pas des choses qui se disent, tout le personnel de l'hôtel mal aimable à part les animateurs, concernant le petit déjeuner il était bon, cependant nous avons quand même plus profité de la piscine ainsi que de la vue imprenable sur la mer, concernant la plage un accès direct est présent par contre les transats sont trop les uns à côté des autres et la plage sale alors que c'est la plage privée de l'hôtel.

Le réceptionniste salah moslah était désagréable, très très lent pour le check in j’ai jamais vu cela : il nous donnait très peu d’information alors qu’on avait réservé sur expédia et qu’on avait la confirmation de la réservation. Plus de 30 minutes a attendre alors qu’il n’y avait personne.

Puis une fois dans la chambre les serviettes de bain étaient sale nous sommes allé à la réception pour les changer.

Lzz ai restauration n est plus à niveau du tout. Au buffet dîner , qualité très moyenne. Il voudrait mieux moins de cher mzis de bonne qualité , viande caoutchouteuse , plats sans saveurs
Le personnel qui était si chaleureux a changé et maintenant , c est « limite aimable ». Exemple je n étais pas en all incluse mais veis dîner à l hôtel. Avant un bonsoir, j ai eu droit à « vous avez de quoi payer ? »… j ai bcp apprécie !!!
Autre point, centré thalasso qui était absolument formidable et que je recommandais à toutes mes amies … à éviter. La femme a accueil pas aimable du tout. A cause du covid, courants d air partout … or quand on est mouillée , on a vite froid. Des serviettes sèches étaient à dispo un peu partout avant , la j ai fu me contenter d une serviette pour l après midi
Et je passe les baies vitrées quasi opaques car pas lavées souvent. Idem pour les portes vitrées intérieures pleines de traces

A la lecture de quelques commentaire on pouvait hésiter, mais vraiment nous avons passé un excellent séjour, du personnel très à l'écoute et très gentille. Nous aurions plus à nous plaindre du comportement de certains clients irrespectueux du personnel, de la nourriture.
Nous avions choisi une chambre piscine, qui effectivement ne voyait jamais le soleil, c'est sans doute bien quand il fait chaud, nous ne reprendrons pas, La nourriture, il y a une base qui ne varie pas salades, pates pizza ect mais il y a à tous les repas des plats différents et donc a qui est curieux de spécialités c'est parfait. Nous n'avons pas utilisé les services de la Thalasso

Pas un hôtel 5 étoiles

L’hôtel en soi a besoin d’entretien, je ne vais pas mettre tout le personnel dans le même sac, mais la plupart des personnes sont très hautains, à se demander qui sont les clients dans cet hôtel. J’ai énormément voyagé mais je n’ai jamais vu de tel service..

Quelques personnels sont gentils (les personnels côté cuisine dans le buffet, et 2/3 serveurs à l’intérieur), les femmes de ménage sont superbes, cependant les serveurs en terrasse et le personnel de l’accueil sont très froids (une dame de l’accueil a raccroché au nez de mon compagnon car il l’a relancé pour une chose qu’elle n’avait pas fait), les barmans te servent ce qu’ils souhaitent te servir même si vous commander un cocktail en particulier (un exemple parmi tant d’autres, mon compagnon a commandé un cocktail et le barman lui a donné le même cocktail que le mien).
Si vous demandez un service, attendez vous à avoir ce que vous avez demandé longtemps après.

Heureusement que nous avons booké la chambre swim up qui compense le tout, une chambre avec accès direct sur une piscine privée, par contre la clim marche à peine et fait un bruit.

La plage n’est pas du tout jolie, manque d’entretien, dommage pour leur emplacement.

Ce n’est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles, c’est un 3 étoiles pour moi. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans notre chambre avec la piscine privée, mais je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel, dommage car l’infrastructure est très bien. C’est vraiment le

Nous arrivons dans un hotel classé 5 étoiles : déception, ce n'est qu'un 3 étoiles + ou 4 étoiles -.
Coté chambre : par chance, nous sommes dans l'aile rénovée. Les 2 chambres que nous avons sont situées au dernier étage, vue mer ,propres et spacieuses. Sauf que, veille du départ, la petite fenêtre coté salon nous tombe dessus. Elle a été refaite mais pas les attaches qui sont rouillées. Nous prévenons la réception qui la fixe pour la nuit (la fenêtre est lourde car bois + volets bois fixés dessus). Le matin nous passons à la réception, qui propose de la fixer. Oh oui, car la veille, le gars nous a dit qu'avec le poids ça ne tiendrait pas. Mais nous demandons à parler au responsable. Qui visiblement ne se rend pas comte que c'est grave. Nous demandons à parler au directeur. On nous invite à nous asseoir mais celui ci ne vient pas. Puis nous le voyons déambuler dans le hall. Nous l'interpellons. Il ne semble pas au courant mais en écoutant notre histoire dit finalement qu'il a été prévenu mais que peut il faire?
Nous lui expliquons que c'est grave, heureusement la vitre n'a pas éclatée mais la fenêtre nous est tombée dessus. Et alors? c'est réparé. Où est le problème... Le client n'est pas soigné ici. Le danger, pas de problème tant que cela ne saigne pas. Coté nourriture, bon petit déjeuner, repas correct mais pas digne d'un 5 étoiles.
Animation proche de 0. La qualité n'y est pas et le service souriant mais pas à la hauteur. Merci pour les thés du Sidi Bou Said.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Chambre très sympa avec accès à une piscine. Cuisine très bonne.
Animation moyen, Café maure très agréable avec le petit thé à la menthe. Animateurs sympa, les gens sur place très sympa.

Bémol du séjour lors du départ, quand le réceptionniste nous a bloqué l'accès de l'hôtel, sous prétexte qu'on s'en allait (seulement 1/2 qui s'en allait) et qui n'a rien écouté.
Vraiment dommage d'avoir une mauvaise expérience lors du départ alors que le séjour s'était globalement bien passé.

Connaissant cet hotel pour y avoir sejourné plusieurs fois,j'avais entendu dire qu'il avait été rénové ,effectivement il y a eu quelques travaux (très minimes),mais le pire c'est la restauration ,les restaurants à la carte n'existent plus où alors c'est des sandwichs ,les buffets c'est très limite quand à l'avant dernier soir j'ai du debarrasser moi même une table (ayant demandé avant à un serveur qui m'a envoyé bouler )pour pouvoir manger avec mon epouse et il n'y avait plus rien aux buffet(pas renouvelé ) c'est un desastre je ne pense pas retourner un jour dans cet hotel

Insgesamt fühlten wir uns ausgesprochen wohl, der Service war gut , alle waren nett und gaben sich große Mühe mit uns. Das Essen war klasse, auch für Nicht-Fleischesser. Lediglich das Weihnachtsessen war für unseren Geschmack daneben. Die Musik viel zu laut zum Essen, sodass wir aufs Silvesteressen verzichtet haben. Da das Hotel dafür völlig zu Recht eine Extragebühr verlangte, von Hotelscom aber angeblich alles mitbezahlt war, schicke ich Ihnen die jeweiligen Rechnungen noch nach.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit .l’hôtel est top! Un bon accueil ! La chambre est très grande avec un lit xl et un coin salon ! Une véranda vu sur la plage j’ai adoré, je reviendrai sûrement pendant l’été !
Une variété de nourriture au petit déjeuner ! Seul bémol leur café n’est pas bon et pas de qualité c’est dommage pour un grand hôtel !!!

Très déçu !
Je venais pour un séjour calme et relaxant mais l'hôtel était rempli de vacanciers locaux.
Assez dépaysant de voir toutes ces femmes en burkini.
Beaucoup d'enfants jouent autour de la piscine ce qui rend votre séjour extrêmement bruyant, y compris tard le soir.
Musique à fond autour de la piscine, assez désagréable.
Attention très peu d'attention sur les gestes barrière covid !
Sinon, l'hôtel est annoncé comme un 5 étoiles, c'est tout juste du niveau 3 étoiles.
La thalasso est assez décevante.

Excellent sejour de 15 jours du 5 au 18 juillet 2021 dans cet hôtel qui gagne à être connu.
Personnel très accueillant et à vos petits soins. Animateurs tres sympas également même s il n y avait pas beaucoup d animations. Néanmoins, le calme a la piscine etait tres appreciable, sans musique à fond a longueur de journee.
Et que dire de la chambre avec piscine ? Le grand luxe avec peu de voisins pour partager la grande piscine avec nous.
Le petit plus aussi tres appréciable : le wifi dans la chambre.
Quant au spa, rien a dire. Tout est parfait. Comme le restaurant qui offrait une cuisine variee et fraiche.
Un hôtel que je recommande si vous voulez vous ressourcer au calme loin des grands complexes djerbiens.

Hôtel à recommander vivement sur Djerba

Séjour très court mais parfait la chambre était magnifique avec une vue sur mer l’hôtel est très propre, la nourriture variée Nous avions l’habitude de prendre le Radisson mais il était complet nous nous sommes rabattu sur ce cinq étoiles et nous ne le regrettons pas il est plus petit et c’est Ce qui lui donne son charme. Décoration avec arabo mauresque contemporaine j’ai apprécié hôtel à recommander vivement sur Djerba

Très agréable sejour

Fin de séjour mouvementée avec la perspective de quitter au plus vite l'hôtel (COVID19 oblige)
Merci à Mahmoud qui s'est démené pour que les tous les clients de l'hôtel puissent être rapatriés au mieux, il a été formidable.
Lorsque nous sortirons de cette terrible pandémie nous ne pouvons que vous encourager à fréquenter ce bel hôtel, très confortable, propre, vous y serez accueillis par un personnel aimable et souriant qui essaiera au mieux de vous contenter.
Nous espérons y retourner dès que possible.

Un des meilleurs Hotel sur l’île de djerba

Deuxième sejour dans cet hôtel. La qualité d’un 5 étoiles est bien présente mais la chambre attribuée n’était pas si bien rénovée que lors de notre précédent séjour (clim un peu plus bruyante lits un peu moins confortables). Néanmoins le rapport qualité prix est excellent ainsi que les repas. Merci au personnel très serviable.

le spa est très bien mais pas assez chauffe. part ailleurs le dernier jour nous avons attrapé une gastro-entérite.nous l'avons signalé à la réception sans trop les inquiéter.globalement les personnel est très gentil,en particulier Ali qui s’occupait de la chambre.malheureusement notre séjour était gâché par la gastro.

Client de cet établissement depuis 10 ans j'ai vécu,avec plus ou moins de bonheur, les différents changements de gestionnaires.
L'actuel a raffraichit la décoration des chambres, c'est un bien par contre la restauration si elle est variée et copieuse n'est pas au niveau de ce que j'ai connu il y a quelques années.
Thalasso bien en matière de soins mais peut faire mieux en ce qui concerne la gestion des serviettes de bain!

Bon établissement avec un personnel très serviable et un centre de thalasso proposant de tres nombreux soins à des prix corrects.
Nous étions en chambre accès direct piscine très sympa mais eau gelée et la chambre mériterait une rénovation (électricité défaillante et baie vitrée qui coulissait très difficilement)
Par ailleurs déception sur le très grand lit qui s’est transformé en 2 lits séparés et nous attendons encore (suite à leur proposition), que les lits soient refaits avec au moins une grande couette histoire de se rapprocher un peu...

Où est le palace et ses 5 étoiles ??? Restauration digne tout j’ d’un 4 étoiles ! Chambre petite salle de bain exiguë. Personnel pas aimable du tout !
