I visit Djerba regularly and was told that Radisson Blu was one of the best hotels, so I decided to stay there to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience.
Despite it being my birthday, there was no acknowledgment at all — no greeting, no small gesture, nothing. I arrived late after missing my flight and travelling for over 12 hours, yet there was no warmth, care, or consideration shown on check-in. No welcome drink, no courtesy, and no sense that guests were valued.
Throughout my stay, I felt the staff were disengaged. They rarely spoke to guests and mostly interacted only among themselves. This made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming and impersonal.
Based on my experience, the service was far below expectations. I have received far better service in Uylesse Thalasso hotels and even 4 star hotels such as Vincci dar mideon, where staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about guests.
Sadly, this stay did not feel like a birthday celebration at all, and I would not choose this hotel again based on the level of service provided.

Rude staff in all areas, terrible service, problems every single day. Disgusting rooms, disregarded when making a complaint. Rooms are never cleaned. All
Inclusive is not all inclusive. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s a waste of money. Spoilt my whole holiday.!

The hotel has a fantastic location with direct access to a beautiful beach, and the swimming pool area is great for relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and respectful, which made the stay pleasant. However, the hotel could benefit from some renovations to freshen up the facilities. Unfortunately, some guests were not very respectful, which affected the atmosphere at times. Overall, a good experience thanks to the team and the location, but with room for improvement.

This stop was one of many for my honey moon trip. The overall experience was amazing. Not because it's as luxurious as the Four Seasons (it's not) but because the staff was able to quickly adapt to challenges and come up with a quick solution. Keep in mind that if you act like a self entitled ********** dont expect the staff to try their best with a smile. You need to treat them like human beings such as you. Don't think that because your European or Asian or any ethnicity that you are more cultivated and know better.
Overall the facilities were nice. The beach was nice and the huge outdoor pool as well.
Regarding the food, the breakfast buffet was amazing, great selection of sweet and salty but if you show up 20 minutes before the end don't expect to find all the great selection althought there is still a lot of amazing stuff towards the end too.
The downside is the food for lunch and dinner for the restaurants. They have Asian, Italian and local food but it's quite average. I didnt even bother trying Italian or Asian food. On a positive note the Turquoise restaurant near the pool has some good things until 5pm (the pizza is so-so).
The cocktails could have a little more alcohol in them, I found them a little weak in that regard (the pink lady is pretty good and refreshing).
Overall it was a great relaxing experience. The staff is fantastic. Shoutout to the front desk lady bosses Malika and Fathima who know how to take care of everything.

We are tunisian and we live in usa . Its not the same respect and value they give to tourist.
We heard One of the stuff saying bad words about us at the SPA area. Everything else is great clean and quit. I would give 1 stars just because of the stuff.

Very nice resort overall, perfect location and beach. Expensive for Tunisia (meals, drinks). Great beds and rooms.
Female staff (guest relations) very friendly.
Male staff quite unpleasant (they seem to be disturbed when you ask something, mainly barmen and receptionists, limit rude)
Perfect staff at the pool and at the beach.
Expensive car transfer from/to airport, prefer taxis.
Very nice stay overall, but could have been perfect with a smile from grumpy barmen and some waiters.

Relaxing Stay with an Exceptional Spa Experience

I had a mostly enjoyable stay at the hotel, with the standout highlight being the incredible spa. If you're visiting, don’t miss out on booking a massage — it was one of the best I’ve had. The indoor pool is heated, which made for an amazing, relaxing experience, and the steam room was hands-down the highlight of my stay. The entire spa area felt like a true escape and added immense value to the trip.

The hotel grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, with a peaceful walkway lined with green trees leading to the rooms. The rooms themselves were impressively spacious and well-equipped, offering plenty of comfort.

The outdoor swimming pool was also fantastic — clean, inviting, and perfect for lounging.

On the downside, the property feels somewhat dated, especially in comparison to more modern 4-star options like the Iberostar, which offered a fresher, higher-quality breakfast with better variety. Breakfast here could definitely use improvement. Additionally, people smoking in the main lobby was off-putting and took away from the otherwise welcoming atmosphere.

All in all, the hotel has a lot going for it, especially the spa, and with a few updates, it could be truly outstanding.

Hormis Aqua gym et jeux de fléchettes aucune autre animation gratuite
À la réservation, pas possible de choisir une demi pension ou pension complète ! Normale il y a 3 restaurants à disposition ou un buffet ! Buffet à 30€ par personne qui est très très cher pour la prestation ! Resto italien peut être excellent en fonction qui est le cuisinier !
Personnel très sympa et aux petits soins avec les clients
Côté spa thalasso les prix sont les mêmes qu’en France ! Prévoyez un bon budget
Séjour trop cher pour 4 personnes sur 5 jours soit 1100€ avec une vue sur les travaux et coup de disqueuse vers 23 h
Pour finir très dommage qu’il n’y a personne pour enlever de cadavre de tortues sur la place à cause de la pêche

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the lack of valet service was inconvenient. The check-in process was extremely frustrating, taking us over an hour to get our room.

The hotel itself has an old and neglected feel, clearly suffering from a lack of maintenance. This was evident in various aspects of the property.

Breakfast was a major letdown. The quality of the food was poor, and the service was exceptionally slow. It certainly wasn’t the enjoyable start to the day I was hoping for.

However, the size and layout of the room were good.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to the numerous issues I encountered. There are likely better options available for the same price range.

Generally good and I would recommend. I upgraded my room which was nice with a lovely view of the sea. Huge room. Lovely hotel with a number of eateries. Beautiful. My difference between a 4 and 5 rating is staff need to be way friendlier and helpful, especially front desk. Although rooms were very clean, lobby seating areas and the restaurants were not. Tables were left dirty and floors were full of crumbs. WIFI was painfully slow for a 5-star. Nice otherwise.

Unbelievable discriminations against Women Muslim Swimwear and UV Shirts. For invalid reasons, Radisson does not allow Women with Muslim swimwear to go the swimming pool in the Hotel and SPA, so a woman in this Radisson is not free to chose her clothing, Also Kids and Adults that are worried about SKIN CANCER are not allowed to wear UV shirts. This is an internal policy to the hotel, the reason that was given is for Hygienic reason, it seems that the director of this hotel figured it all out! Why Radisson USA, since it is American owned company, does not apply the same discrimination policy in the US but only in Tunisia? Is it Hygienic in the US but not in Tunisia!!, We had few discussion with the Staff and they expressed to us their extreme concern about this policy as well...At check-in the room was not clean, Vomit in the wall, hair in the floor, running and leaking toilet, and empty and dirty fridge, we had to put 4 claims about the running toilet, it took them 2 days to fix. I believe instead of spending time on getting out of the pool woman with Muslim swimwear and kids with UV protection shirts it is better to focus on the Service and make it up to the standard of a 5 star hotel

The check-in experience was not great - arrived at 3pm to the hotel which is the check-in time, we had to wait for 1hr to be able to go to our rooms. The process is not streamlined, had to jump between receptionists and desks. There was a poor welcome stand that had some drinks and fruits - not decent for a 5 stars hotel.

The receptionists agents were not friendly and kind of rude.

The hotel buildings and facilities need to be renovated.

The Radisson was good: well positioned on the north-east of Djerba island, so close enough to Houmt Souk to pop in for work, but also with some lovely beaches (and great kitesurfing) right on the doorstep. Great for a short business trip

I visited the Radisson Blu Palace for three nights in February 2021 while working on the island of Djerba. As you can imagine, it was very empty due to the ongoing crisis. Staff were welcoming, rooms were big and breakfast was delicious. The grounds are also stunning, although it was a little cold to swim in the pool or on the private beach. Staff were very responsive whenever I had a request and dealt with issues in a timely manner. Overall, a great stay!

Excellent hotel but the staff could be more friendly. I felt like in an airport when checking-in and checking-out. The staff is courteous but not inviting or polite. Definitely a great produce but you can feel it is a commercial one, a vulgar one and they dont seem to care for their customers. The best of this hotel: the beach and the spa amenities. Restaurants are bit pricy but that's fine.

It is a very pleasant place to sit back and relax.

Since this was not a vacation but a place to stay while our friend was having surgery at the local Clinique, we really didn't get an opportunity just to rest and relax however we will definitely make it first choice when we are back in Djerba again.

Still a great option despite the downturn in touri

Even though Tunisia, and Djerba in particular, is experiencing a downturn in tourism, the Radisson Blu has maintained a strong level of service. The hotel staff, which is at a minimum trilingual (Arabic, French, English) offers a warm greeting upon arrival and quick service.

The hotel is in beautiful condition--spacious, well-designed, and well-kept. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the internet is fast, and the breakfast buffet offers lots of tasty options.

Negatives: there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout much of the first floor when I visited, but this is something that can be easily reversed.

Service in Tunisia is not fantastic. I have stayed at this hotel twice and the service was quite different the second time. It seemes to depend very much on the person you meet that day... Maybe you will be lucky, maybe not. The surrounding area is not especially nice. Along the beach there are plenty of \"5- star\" hotels, but in Djerba there is little more than hotels. Breakfeast at the hotel was ok, not great. The rooms are very nice and clean, the food in the restaurants is good

Beautiful hotel with great architecture and big spaces. Good selection of bars and restaurants and right on the beach. Only downside is that it is in the zone touristique and, hence, a drive away from anywhere worth visiting.

I arranged car hire through the hotel once I arrived and was very satisfied with the price, the service and the car.

The facilities inside and outside were beautiful and well-maintained. The room was large and aesthetically pleasing. The staff had a \"nothing is impossible attitude. The only problem I experienced was with respect to internet usage. Neither the wireless nor the cable functioned consistently. It was very frustrating to try to keep up with my work email.

Hotel was only 20% occupied because of being offseason. Two of the restaurants were shut down. We found some additional choices next door at the Park Inn

While billed as a five-star hotel, this solidly nice hotel is far from outstanding. It has beautiful ambiance and a very nice, large spa. However, there is no shuttle from the airport (actually, there IS, if you're willing to pay around $15/person for what would be a $7 cab ride for four people). Also, the spa was very disorganized as far as arranging schedules were concerned. Also, the food at the Italian restaurant was mediocre. The burger from room service, however, was excellent. The mini-bar was lackluster. Finally, many in our party had erroneous charges on their final bills that had to be reconciled. Again, a very nice hotel, but - by no means -- five stars. I expected more for the price we paid.

J’ai passé un excellent moment dans cet hôtel. L’accueil a été vraiment superbe, chaleureux et professionnel du début à la fin. Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins.

La nourriture était délicieuse, variée et de très bonne qualité. Un vrai régal à chaque repas !

Je recommande vivement cet établissement et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir. Merci encore pour cette belle expérience !

Je viens régulièrement dans cet hôtel et c’est toujours un vrai plaisir d’y revenir. L’accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux, le personnel souriant et attentionné, et l’ambiance générale très agréable.
Les chambres sont confortables, propres et calmes parfait pour se détendre.
Voyageant souvent seul, j’apprécie particulièrement la gentillesse du personnel qui me fait me sentir comme à la maison.
Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son professionnalisme et sa constance dans la qualité du service. Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.
