room weird overhanging car park and basically next to road. car park entry too narrow, no wash cloths. shower enclosure insufficient size to perform one needed task of keeping water in shower. no shampoo, conditioner - just all in one soap. entry to hotel from car park stairs in narrow hallway are steep and cramped. breakfast-horrible. tv channels insufficient. restaurant just ok. charged me 15 euros extra for late checkout.overall stay 3/10

We arrived late at night and got a wellcoming reception. The room is very comfortable with a well apreciated air conditioner. Our adjasent room was perfect and the breakfast had everything we wanted and rastefull.

The free internet was significantly better than the vast majority of UK hotels.
Bar prices were comparable to other local bars and cheaper than some that I visited. Food was of a good standard
The room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows excellent: I’ve rarely had such good sleep in hotels.

A basic hotel but with everything you need for the price, clean, comfortable with a good continental breakfast selection. Although the hotel has a carpark the ramp down is very very narrow as you can see by the scrappes on the walls, park across the road.

The shower fan/ room fan did not work. There was A LOT of black mold inside our room around the windows, our shower leaked and after each shower the bathroom floor flooded. I reported the problem but noting was addressed during our 11 night stay. Carpets in our room and the hallways had a lot of large stains. Staff was great, breakfast was incredible every morning.

On hotels.com, the hotel had airco. But when I called the Hotel to ask them to put on already the airco (on an extremely warm summer day), they told me that the only available rooms were without airco because of technical problems, the bookings sites had been informed. When I told them that I had booked specifically a room with airco Nino and Ellen from Fletcher Weert sprung into action.
Within 2minutes, Nino called me back to tell me that a room with airco had been arranged.

We only went to Weert for a concert.
The Golden Tulip was less than 200yards from the train station and walking distance to the rest of the town. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we would recommend this hotel for anybody travelling to the area for whatever reasons.

Standard rooms are very small but upper categories are better, pictures of the rooms can be deceptive. Reception staff \"Kim\" was very helpfull recovering a small mistake. Breakfast is at satisfactory level.

Terrible experience from the stained carpet when you enter the place to the tired look everywhere. It seemed because we booked on line we got the worst of everything. Workers pounding away on scaffolds right outside our window...tired everything in the room...by the far the worst in our whole 3 weeks in Holland in fact we moved to another great hotel with no refund for our second night in the not so Golden Tulip. Don't go! Wonder what Expedia will do for us???

Decent hotel for a short stay

Garage parking offered at the hotel but limited places, the public underground parking across the road is a better option for slightly more. The restaurant has a limited menu but there are a number of other options a short walk away. Breakfast was reasonable. Room was comfy and staff very helpful.

Nice hotel but no piano bar

We were visiting The Netherlands to see Andre Rieu in Maastricht but choose this hotel because the site said it had a piano bar and we felt it would be good to have entertainment in the evening. The hotel had a piano in the bar but no pianist which was both misleading and disappointing. I would have stayed in Maastricht which is a much nicer city and saved the 100km round trip. The hotel otherwise was very good although the lift does not go down to the car park and the restaurant has a limited choice of 3 main courses which did not change during the 3 days we were there.

A nice hotel: rooms cleaned daily, but floors not vacuumed daily. (I stayed eight nights). Self service breakfast is adequate, but is nothing special. I choose not to eat in the hotel for the evening meals, but instead ate at the adjoining and cheaper Chinese restaurant. Hotel location excellent - close to the train and bus stations and the city centre. Hotel sits in a quiet location - 400m from centre.. Two receptionists very pleasant and helpful, especially Margaret. Hotel does not have baggage room for those leaving Weert after vacating room, but Margaret stored my bags in her office while I waited my train. Train and bus stations 200m from hotel. Hotel has free internet connection, but as I travelled without my computer, Ellen, the second receptionist, confirmed with the airline my departure flight and printed my boarding ticket.

\nEen middelmatig hotel voor een wat hoge prijs dus

Hallo, jammer dat de rokersruimtennet aan de ingang van het hotel is. Je loopt door de rokers naar binnen.
Onze kamer die daar net boven lag had ook een vage sigarettengeur hierdoor.

De ontvangst was vriendelijk en beleefd.

De kamer zelf leek ok, wat out dated maar al bij al ok voor 1 nacht. bedden goed maar echt schoon was het niet.

Pinda noten onder de bureau, koekwikkel ernaast, haartjes in de badkamer.
De sigaretten geur was in de badkamer behoorlijk sterk aanwezig.

De douche kon je moeilijk vast zetten zodat de hele badkamervloer nat was na 1 douche. Wel een stevige straal en goed warm.

Ontbijt basic en oogt niet zo verzorgd.

Gedurende de nacht ook veel lawaai, heen en weer geloop, luid gepraat, gebonk op de deuren, ook boven ons gebonk... wat vervelend voor een goede nachtrust.

In de toiletten beneden geen zeep voorhanden.

Een middelmatig hotel voor een wat hoge prijs dus.

Hoewel de accommodatie bij binnenkomst netjes oogt zijn de standaard kamers duidelijk toe aan een opknapbeurt. De gedateerde kamers tonen duidelijk sporen van verval. De badkamer dient zeker gerenoveerd te worden. Vieze kitnaden rond de badrand, een aan de onderzijde door vocht opgezwollen badkamerdeur zijn maar twee voorbeelden van zaken die niet langer kunnen. Al met al een matige kamer voor een prijs die eerder bij een hogere hotelklasse hoort.

De incheck was zeer onvriendelijk.
Garage vol en moest maar kijken of ik mn spullen liet staan.
Ik moest naar andere parkeergarage.
Diner was ook lachwekkend.
Na 50 minuten kwam het eten.
Echter eerst hoofdgerecht en dan voorgerecht…drama.
Maar geen nagerecht genomen.

Hôtel agréable avec personnel aimable.
La salle de bain est veillotte et se laver dans le bain n'a pas été agréable. Pommeau de douche inadapté et fuite du pare douche. De fait j'ai du éponger.
J'ai profité du restaurant qui est correct. Les prix, comparés à la France sont beaucoup plus importants.
Il n'y a pas de parking dans l'hôtel mais un public à 50m dans la rue. Il faut compter 6-7€ la nuit en plus.

Ruime kamer, goede bedden, neem droge sokken mee.

Fijne grote kamer en toilet apart van de badkamer. Inchecken vlot en ook een prima ontbijt. Goede wifi en lekker brede bedden. Prima ligging nabij stadscentrum.
Alleen jammer dat de douche nogal spettert, waardoor een deel van de kamer (de douche bevindt zich in de kamer) ook nat wordt en er geen trekker is om de vloer weer droog te maken.

De kamer was op zich wel uitstekend, maar eerdere bezoekers hadden wel vlekken gemaakt in de vloerbedekking. Bedden waren uitstekend, heerlijk geslapen. Ontbijtbuffet was echt uitgebreid en lekker. En in de omgeving was genoeg te doen. Kortom, we komen denk ik nog wel een keer terug!

Great location at walking distance to the centre. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. They have their own parking garage that you can use at €7.50 per night. Only thing to note is that it is a VERY narrow entrance to the parking.

Otherwise we had a nice stay here and we enjoyed being able to walk to church in the morning.

Naja, das Hotel liegt an der City. Oberflächlich alles ok, man darf nur nicht genauer hinsehen. Frühstück war unterer Standard. Tische schmutzig und selten wird abgeräumt. Buffet sehr übersichtlich und schlecht nachgefüllt. Personal unstrukturiert und überfordert. Für 65€ war es ok, mehr aber auch nicht.

The rooms were very very cold. The heater was not working. The lift was not working. We had to carry the luggaes 3 floors and we couldn't find where the rooms were. Direction signs at the roof floor was not good enough. Did not satisfy with my stay. I am not thinking to stay again at this hotel if I find any good alternative at that area.

Vrij basic hotel. Centraal gelegen in de stad. Rustig. Bedden aan de zachte kant. Douche en toilet ruimte ruim opgezet en in goede staat. Ontbijt is goed met voldoende keus en assortiment. Ontbijtzaal is ook ruim genoeg opgezet. Parkeren is erg smal, parkeergarage aan overzijde straat is een betere optie.

Er waren geen parkeerplaatsen meer over, dus ik moest in de parkeergarage aan de overkant van de straat parkeren. Het was maar 1 euro per dag duurder, maar je moet wel met al je spullen over straat sjouwen. Voor de rest was de service en het verblijf prima, niet geweldig.
