We booked this hotel just for one night sleep passing through the city. From the moment you walk into this hotel you feel like home. It’s cozy and home like. Comfy bed, spacious rooms and not to mention the view from our balcony. The front desk Hallala (sorry if I have misspelled the name) was so pleasant, respectful and she took care of our big family and checked us out with so much love and attention. I am so sad we didn’t have time to spend couple of nights in this hotel but for sure will be back. Also shout out to bartender/waiter at the restaurant. He was so kind. Thank you for such a nice experience.

Very nice place in a quiet scenic area. Facilities are great plus dining is very personable. Deducted a star due to a front desk member who was rude to me during check in(plus couldn’t locate our reservation the supervisor stepped in and took care of us). Also,our door lock needed repair (the maintenance guy there was top notch and saved the day by fixing our door). Aside from our check in woes this is a very nice place to stay and will probably stay here again.

We really liked the location. We spent a weekend here and hiking trails are starting directly behind the hotel. No need to take the car to start. You can order a packed lunch that is filled with enough food and drinks for 2. The breakfast was great! We did not try the restaurant. Our room was to the backyard (into the forest) and after check in Friday evening we were a bit disappointed as we expected a view into the beautiful landscape. But next morning we had the sunrise on our site and sat in the sun on our balcony - everybody happy again!During hot summer days these rooms might not have the best view but should stay cooler than the rooms on the other site. The rooms are clean and stuffed with all you need. Don`t expect modern style furniture at this traditional house. Everybody from the staff was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna after our hike. Unfortunately Spa treatments are not offered at the moment.

Ruhige und schöne Lage, sehr saubere Zimmer und das Bad. Ein netter und freundlicher Rezeptionist hat uns empfangen. Im Hotel haben wir nur eine Nacht ohne Frühstück verbracht, deswegen können wir da nicht viel sagen. Der Wellnessbereich selbst
ist etwas veraltet, obwohl uns die Sauna an sich
gefallen hat. Aber alles in allem war für diesen Preis völlig in Ordnung. Danke!

Skønt hotel

Vi skulle kun overnatte en dag, da vi var på vej til Østrig, og kom først meget sent pga. vejarbejde ved Hamborg og dårligt vejr gennem DK og nord Tyskland. Receptionen var lukket, men vi fik oplyst en kode til en nøgleboks, let og nemt! Der var danskvand på værelset, skønt når man kommer så sent. Dagen efter fik vi dejlig morgenmad og en dukkert i deres opvarmede pool..Skønt at køre videre på! Alt i alt et godt sted til billig penge. Anbefaler klart:-)

Das Hotel hatte seine Besten Zeiten in den späten 80ern / frühen 90ern und seither wurde da auch nicht mehr allzuviel gemacht.
Alles sauber, aber sehr sehr altbacken und an vielen Stellen nicht zeitgemäß: Neben dem Bett gibt es keine Steckdose

Wir haben dieses Hotel sehr spontan auf einer Durchreise gebucht. Alles rief reibungslos, das Personal war sehr nett und die Zimmer sauber und gut. Wir waren Abends im hauseigenen Restaurant essen und auch hier war die Bedienung sehr nett und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Parkplatz und das war sehr ruhig, kann mir aber auch vorstellen, das Zimmer Richtung Straße ruhig sind, da hier nicht so viel Verkehr war. Können daher auch nicht viel zur Umgebung der Unterkunft sagen, außer das es in einer landschaftlich schönen Gegend liegt. Wir würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen.

Housekeeping kam während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht. Essen abends qualitativ unterirdisch, Frühstück nichts besonderes, aber ok. Hotel benötigt dringend eine Renovierung, so stimmt Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Personal nett und bemüht am FO und im Service.

Övernattning

Rummet hade ett nyrenoverat badrum som var väldigt fint. Rummet var omodernt men fräsch och rent.

Det tillkom parkeringsavgift på 5 euro vilket tycktes menlöst och obefogat då hotellet ligger mitt ute i naturen.

Hotellet saknar uteplats att sitta och njuta av solen i. Utomhusmiljön är något ovårdad och har mer att önska.

Frukosten ingick inte utan tillkom för 18 euro. Den var väldigt fräsch och hade de mesta man kan önska sig. Mycket gott.

Wij vonden het belachelijk dat je 5 euro moest betalen voor het parkeren. Terwijl het hotel ver buiten het centrum stond.

Ein sehr schönes komfortables Hotel

Das Hotel liegt abseits im Grünen, viele Wiesen, viel Wald prägt die Umgebung. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr komfortabel, das Zimmer ist sauber, das Bad ganz neu mit bodengleicher Dusche. Die Möblierung, ausser dem hervorragenden Bett, ist aber in die Jahre gekommen und sollte irgendwann ausgetauscht werden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beim Frühstücksbuffet ist eher mittelmässig, für den Preis von € 18.- hätte ich mir mehr Auswahl erwartet. Ein Aussenparkplatz vor dem Hotel kostet €5.-Das ist m.E. überzogen, die meisten Hotels nehmen für solche Parklätze keine zusätzlichen Gebühren. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden, ich würde das Hotel jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Et ophold værd, men spis et andet sted

Et hyggeligt hotel med pool i kælderen som ungerne elskede. Også et rart værelse.
Desværre var buffeten tør og smagsløs (og eneste mulighed for at spise). Men bestemt ikke billigt. Og så var der meget lidt personale - til tider føltes det som om der ikke var nogen.

Sehr angenehmes Hotel in der Rhön

Hotel liegt sehr schön am Fuße der Wasserkuppe. Es gibt viele Wanderwege mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeiten. Der kürzeste Weg zur Wasserkuppe beträgt ca. 6 km, es geht jedoch ziemlich steil nach oben. Man kann jedoch auch weniger anstrengend in der Gegend spazieren.
Im Hotel werden die Gäste sehr zuvorkommend betreut. Man merkt, dass das Personal wirklich um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht ist. Die Gäste haben einen festen Tisch während ihres Aufenthalts und jeden morgen gibt es eine Morgenpost am Tisch. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns der täglich wechselnde Wandertipp.

Sehr gute Lage, wenn man zur Wasserkuppe wandern will.

Zimmer groß genug. Frühstück war gut. Essen im Restaurant war leider lieblos und einfach nicht gut. Deshalb im Zweifel lieber woanders essen gehen.

Besonders schade: Jetzt in Coronazeiten sind sie unflexibel bei der Belegung der Tische. Die viel schöneren Tische sind im Wintergarten, aber man muss egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen, ob noch Gäste kommen oder nicht, immer am gleichen Tisch sitzen.
Bei uns war das drin, im dunkleren Teil des Restaurants. Dabei ist es in normalen Restaurants, ja durchaus möglich, die Tische wieder zu belegegen, wenn sie einmal gereinigt wurden.
