Fantastic stay at the Loch Fyne. The hotel was really clean and the facilities were well kept with stunning decor. We enjoyed the outdoor spa facility which was new and very clean. Ee brought our dog who was treated very well. Staff is really nice. We also dined at the restaurant and the dinner was a proper fine dining experience with dishes perfectly executed. Well done Chef! Among the waiters the blond slim pretty girl stood out for kindness and professionality. I did not take her name but I hope this is passed to management as her service was exceptional.

The hotel is in a beautiful situation, with far reaching views across the loch. The staff were all very friendly, the room was beautiful and, they are extremely dog friendly.

We loved our stay. The staff are fantastic. Very dog friendly. The spa is nic and clean and not crowded. We had a deluxe double room and it was a good size for the two of us and our two dogs. Lovely location too just a short walk into the town.

Booked Loch Fyne Hotel for 2 nights. We had a wonderful welcome from Scott taking time to answer questions and book dinner for us. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. We had breakfast and dinner which was delicious. We used the pool and spa which was wonderful especially the outdoor shore spa. I feel that made the whole weekend was the whole team staff. They were so welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay and will return.

We enjoyed our stay at Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa. Breakfast was excellent every morning and you were able to help yourself to cold items at the buffet and order a hot breakfast.

Room was okay, bed was comfy! Was quite stuffy in the room even when it was below 20 degrees and appreciated the fan in the room. I don’t think the room was exceptionally clean but was fine. I wasn’t happy on our third day to come back after 5 hours to find our room hadn’t been cleaned (from 10am to 3.30pm) even though we had put sign up to be cleaned and the cleaners were in the room opposite at 10am. Our room therefore was not cleaned our entire stay. Also we stayed on the 2nd floor and a lot of the time a room beside the elevator the door to which was left open most of the time despite being a fire door and had no flooring where all the clean robes were kept on the floor.. and looked dirty. This is not something guests should see or expect.

The pool and spa were great.

Lovely hotel with easy parking, great food (try the tart for dessert!), beautiful views in the lounge and restuaraunt, and a delightful pool and spa area. Note that you do need reservations for the outdoor hot tub (we were late arrivals and early departure, and did not check on the process for that).
Would happily return and hopefully spend more than one night next time.

Only negatives I would say the food and drink is quite expensive and they also add a service charge of 10% to everything which I don’t really agree with. Leave it up to the customer what they wish to tip.

All the staff were lovely and friendly, and clearly worked well together as a team - it was great to see.

We have to particularly mention Ross (in the Bar), who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and that nothing was any trouble at all.

The scones were out of this world and the steak ciabatta was awesome.

Very nice hotel and very nice staff. Pool was great. Steam room may have had some moldy corners - looked like it, but it was dark in there and hard to see. Dinner was very nice with very attentive staff. Breakfast was great also. Rooms were decent size - not large. Lots of fireplaces but none of them were on! I was really looking forward to an evening in front of the fire... EV charging stations at the hotel were not working at all.

We had a one night stay at the hotel on the way home from Mull of Kintyre. Location is beautiful. Hotel is in a prime spot. Superb stay at a wonderfully run hotel

A truly lovely experience. It's nice that a hotel chain takes staffing numbers and training so seriously. The staff were excellent, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The food was also top notch and my fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had. Everything was very clean. The only slight annoyance was dogs in the restaurant. As I am allergic, I don't think that policy is particularly fair.

Lovely but could do better!

Stayed here for 3 nights for husband's 50th birthday with our 8 year old son. Location is stunning and even though it was February, we found plenty of things to see and do. Hotel was very clean, staff were generally friendly except some bar staff ignored us when they were busy. Rooms and beds very clean and comfy.
Had to ask for slippers, IMO these should be in the room already.
Pool was cold first day but they had it perfect the 2nd day.
Breakfast was lovely, only on last day poached eggs were overdone, sent them back, perfect upon return.
We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant on our last night, nothing was too mich trouble, food and wine was exceptional.
Jacuzzi was out of order for 1 of the days, shame.
Spa - only 6 loungers, and only 4 hooks?! so you have to leave your dry towels and dressing gowns on the floor, which is wet from the pool. Such a simple thing to resolve - put hooks on the walls all the way around the pool please!
Hubby had a bad back and the lovely Scottish receptionist offered her own paracetomol as a personal favour, as she was coming off her shift, which was v kind and helpful. All the Scottish staff were lovely, just some of the foreign bar staff a bit less so.
Would recommend this hotel just a shame there are a couple of niggles re the spa/slippers.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful views and super clean and comfortable rooms/bathrooms. The pool/sauna areas were perfect to relax after a day of exploring the outside. 10 min walk into Inveraray centre to visit other restaurants pubs. The staff was superb, especially our housekeeper Josie who made us feel right at home and all the breakfast staff who catered for our requirements perfectly.

My only complaints were the fact that you had to book a breakfast time (if you arrive late you'll have to book a late slot) and that the rooms were incredibly warm. We remedied this by opening a window, but our room backed onto a generator/engine of some sorts, so there was a fairly noisy hum all night. Luckily I brought earplugs so that helped.

They still know how to bill....at least.

We booked mainly to get the culinary experience in a relaxing spa setting. Whilst the latter lived up to expectation, what seems simple to deliver by way of the former appears to elude. The best the restaurant could muster was scampi and chips. No Scottish sourced marine fayre on the menu. Even a medium rare steak was delivered to the table \"bien cuit\". At least they did the honourable thing with that.

Lovely hotel right on the Loch. Great location for exploring & coming back to relax in the spa.
The staff were all very lovely and polite, but across the board there was a lack of communication throughout our stay, we weren’t sure about times of eating, location for the dogs, spa times etc and there is no signage in the hotel to aid this. There seemed to be a strict policy in booking your breakfast and evening times when you check in, by the end of the week we had to change these as planned activity.
We were encouraged to use the hotel own app prior to arriving, this was a waste of time as nothing was communicated onwards.
None of this spoilt our enjoyment at all. It is a beautiful place to stay, staff were
all friendly, would highly recommend but be prepared to ask a lot of questions.

Excellent and disappointing at the same time

Nice hotel and staff were excellent. Disappointed to only find out the Spa was closed after making the booking when that was part of the purpose of choosing the hotel. Food was nice and priced for the tourist trade. I would say overpriced for the quality compared to city hotels.
