Richard
The lobby is non-smoking, but smells of smoke because I saw at least 1 employee smoking in the adjacent utility room (an older woman). The lighting all shines down within the room, so it's quite dim - particularly if you're on the ground floor and need to keep the windows shut. The breakfast isn't worth mentioning - we didn't eat it.
The rooms are clean and the TV works. The shower is a bit tight but functional.

Very nice stay

Not much breakfast options. Old place
shannon
We stayed for 1 night it was clean and the staff was wonderful..
Richard
A nice place to stay and the inn keeper was very helpful.
Shirley M
Room was very clean. Soap dispensers were full. Lady at front desk very polite and helpful.
Geraldine
The room was near the back door When people came in or out of the back door at all hours, it woke us up repeatedly.
Adam
Clean, but small and noisy.
Christopher
Very rough, outdated, missing simple items, very noisy.
Teri
Very clean room, staff was friendly!

The room was clean and kept up. But the heater/airconditioner was not sealed well in the wall and it was -8 outside. The heater kept turning on and off every 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly. The tv didnt qork intil we unpluged it and plugged it in again. Then the network was so unstable if you have a need for television. Not the place to be.
ASHLEY
The dish network kept cutting out constantly. The place was clean, but that is about all I have to say about it that is positive. It was a Super 8 in a farm town so I wasn't expecting much in the first place. The breakfast nook only really had some cereal that I could tell and maybe there was yogurt and toast imduribg setvice times, but I will be honest I didnt go out there because when I checked in, it was very lackluster abd there were only 2 tables and it shared The same space as the check in desk/lobby. The coffee was very bland and after I brewed a cup in my room, it nust have burned the paper cup because it tasted like literal cardboard. The bed was very mushy in the middle so either it was very worn or it hasnt been flipped in awhile. One of the lights was burned out and even when they were all on, it was very dim loghting. Having a channel guide was a good thing though and I appreciated also there was a recycling bin in the room so the environment policy is being upheld to a good standard, imo. The TV thing was the main reason that it was such a poor score
Catherine
Middle of room was clean but corners were dirty and muddy (dirty water?)splash on bathroom wall. Very poor lighting. Very hard to regulate the room temperature.
Diane
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff at check'in Had some loud guest close by late at night.
Tanya
I mean, I guess it was OK. I had the first floor room. The walls are very thin and I don’t like that. The window is on street level so anyone could crawl in it if they wanted to.
Christian
Very comfortable and spacious room.
Gretchen
Room was very dark even with all 3 lamps o Wifi for both days kicked me off several times. Tv also didn't work well.
Laurie
Only complaint is the tv was not working it would freeze up for a while and then come back did that all night long.
Parish
Our stay for visiting family was very good. The room was clean and the temperature was comfortable and easy to adjust, the bed was comfortable, the area was safe. Our only complain is that in room 201, the ceiling squeaked loudly when the guests above walked around.
Andrea
Gail, who checked us in, was very friendly and efficient! The room was very modern feeling and all furniture/fixtures felt fairly new. The neighbors were a bit noisy, so we appreciated that the wall HVAC unit had a continous fan option! Bathroom was functional, but did not seem to have received an update like the rest of the room.
Robert
Room was clean and all the chrome fixtures were were shiny and looked like new. Didn't hear much noise and the heater worked like it should.
Kent
Clean room. Convenient location. Helpful staff.
Jennifer
Stayed here for work, its was okay. Out dated and small, vut if you are looking for a place to sleep this hitel will work.
Nicki
It was nice
Luckiekabo
Very nice and accommodating
Jenola
The place is great, clean, friendly and helpful. Just not much for a continental breakfast. There was coffee, milk, cereal, toast and some frudels. I guess I was expecting some fruit of juice or some kind of waffles. I would stay here anyway. It's close to restarants.
Kyle
Quick and easy to check in, was very quiet throughout the hotel, easy access to the rooms
Hayden

Thumbs down
The coffe maker was dirty... first thing we noticed. No elevator!
jose
Heater don’t work
Ivan
Rear door to parking lot was zip tied on the push bar on the door. Which meant anyone at anytime could come or go. Lots of coming and or going from like 12:30 am to 4:15am before I could finally enjoy sleeping. Told the front desk about this when I checked in at around 5:30 pm. Otherwise it was a great room ! Clean and comfy, I would ask to not be buy ANY KIND of entrance next time I stayed there!!
Alex
Stay was unpleasant
Patrick
The big problem was the heating system. The heating fan had only one option it was to cycle on and cycle off and it was noisy. Hardly slept at all that night. Never coming back. Go somewhere else if you have an option. TV channel sucked a froze.
Todd
The staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a few things we needed and helped promptly. The property is a little worn but its clear you've made some significant updates in recent years to serve your niche - well done!

Working person's hotel
Have stayed here twice. This year and last. Room was clean, bed was great, coffee was ok. Breakfast choices were limited to toasting waffles, yogurt, cereal. Its a working persons place. I.e., a place to rest your head, safe, no frills. The noise level was acceptable.

Run down

Very comfortable bed. Some switches, multi plug-in strip for electronics didn't work, TV remote didn't work, but clerk was able to get it working. Good price for room. No Elevator.

Works for a night but I’d hate to stay there long.

Property was a pig with lip stick
Shawn
Affordable. close to dining. in area for event.
Rachel
First room had no heat, very run down hotel and noisy
Alicia
Dirty socks under the bed, bed was pulled from wall and when I looked it had dust and hair on box spring under headboard. Tv stand is bowed and cracked. Itty bitty dowel holding window shut. Walls are paper thin. Tv went out and had to ask the front desk to fix and she didn’t seem to happy about having to get up to walk down to do so. Shower was dirty and the shower head is so low I had to bend my knees to use it and I’m only 5’4”. Baseboard heaters in hallway hanging from the wall. Place is something straight out of a Norman bates catalog. Never again.
Susan
the heat was off in our room and it took a couple hours to warm the room up. This was disappointing. in the evening we had issues with the TV and felt like excuses, excuses when we called about the issue.

Friendly staff.

Good, economical place to stay
Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we didn’t have any issues with noise.m. Our major complaint was that the beds were not queen size.

the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not function. Could not plug in any devices in the bathroom. (the hairdryer provided on that wall was not functional for that reason). Had no one tested it??
Hotel would benefit from an upgrade and more meticulous housekeeping.

It was economical-you get what you pay for
There were no towels in our room upon arrival but they were promptly provided upon request.

Nice place

This was an average Super 8, which most are unless you hit a bad one. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Quiet in spite off location on relatively busy street. Room had a unpleasant odor that smelled to me like perspiration, but may have been an odor eliminator. Breakfast was sparse - no hot food. What a great excuse to eat Frosted Flakes! I would stay here again - no major complaints.

I thought the property was above average for this price range. Staff was friendly and the location was nice with nearby restaurants. Seemed like a safe, quiet location.

The staff was wonderful. We have stayed at this property several times but this time we did not feel safe. I believe there are permanent residents in the building. Our heating unit starting spewing out a hot fragrance when turned on and the smoke alarms sounded until I shut the heat off. We left it off. The dead bolt on the door was not able to be locked. If you expect to get sleep in this hotel, it's not going to happen at least on a weekend. Doors slamming all night long, kids running in halls and above our room, drawers slamming, talking loudly seriously into the wee hours. Finally, noise stopped around 4 but then loud rap music started playing. We left early and will not stay here again. I do have to say the rooms seemed very clean, looked like new carpeting, that was all good. I felt unsafe with all the noise and inability to dead bolt the door.

Was a pleasant stay. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Convenient and Accommodating
The hotel is older but clean and safe. We were delighted with the manager and an early arrival.

I’ve stayed in some budget hotels in my time and though some seemed run down and very outdated, they usually at least felt clean and safe.
This was not the case here. Walking to my room felt like walking through a dungeon, the room itself stunk and gave me the creepy crawlies. I could here people in other rooms being incredibly loud at 2am from down the hall, when I first arrived there were 4-5 people drinking big bottles of booze out back by my entrance door and the front desk lady seemed oblivious to it all and was shocked when I told her about all of this and said I didn’t feel comfortable or safe staying there and was leaving.
The pictures and reviews are deceiving and for the price I paid, expected far better. I wasn’t asking for marble and gourmet breakfast. Just a clean, safe place to rest a few hours.
Don’t waste your time with this one. The only redeeming quality is the owner was understanding and refunded me for the trouble.
