The room and the common areas were very clean. The bed was very comfortable and and the looked to have been recently updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good with eggs, hash browns, sausage and waffle maker, as well as oatmeal available. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this Days Inn.

The breakfast sausage was made from something other than beef or pork. The owner/manager/ staff are admitted vegetarians and their breakfast fare reflected that. The eggs were watery and were powdered. It will probably appeal to Vegans, not those who are meat eaters. Best to get up a little early and get breakfast elsewhere.

I love that. I felt very comfortable right away. The rooms were clean and if you needed something, the front desk and the staff were very accommodating. The bad side is that the Internet and/ or Wi-Fi don’t work very well. The breakfast was OK. It would’ve been nice to have more hot foods like eggs, sausage, but what they do have is good for those on the go. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s close to gas stations, and other shopping within 15 minutes from hotel.

We had three rooms for a week. With black mold in the bathrooms We were working on a job in town. My employees stay in hotels all year long we travel through different states. I have never had an issue where the hotel staff were accusing people of smoking in rooms. At one point, we even took one of the employees from the front desk back to the room. We were staying in and asked them to please smell it. It was not in our room. It was two other rooms that we were not a part of. I would definitely suggest to try and find a local owned hotel in town or something that is ran a little better. We switched hotels during our trip!

Not business friendly apparently...

Stayed here for business. Room was pre-paid for but the front desk manager would not let me check in because the business credit card used for a room deposit did not have my name on it. My name was on the room...even the credit card used to reserve the room didn't have my name on it, but a $100 deposit on business credit card wouldn't work.

Turned into a whole thing and they would not budge on it. Never had this issue with other hotels or even other Days Inn hotels. The whole thing was odd. They were willing to let me sleep in my truck then to check-in.

Can’t stay off you’re a Willmar resident

We never stayed. We were moving out of Willmar and needed a place to stay the night before the closing on our new house in another city. We were not allowed to stay because we were technically residents of Willmar!! . Hotel policy apparently- we get it but don’t understand why we were allowed to book and it was all confirmed to begin with? Crazy. It’s not a place we would choose to stay anyway it was really sketchy. Hotel staff was helpful though and gave us the number to call hotels.com so we could get a refund

Positives: The bed was very comfortable, air worked well, and staff was nice. Negatives: The place was full of unpleasant smells, very old so sorta unclean looking, the toilet didn’t flush well, the shower faucet dripped continuously, there is no in room coffee pot, and no ironing board and iron although we were able to get one to use from front desk. The room was small with no dressers to put anything, nearly no hanging space, not enough outlets and lots of ambient noise from doors closing, other people. Overall 3/10

Property is outdated with many non-working options. I was locked out of the hotel for more than 10 minutes in the snow and ice because the guest entrance door key lock wouldn’t work. This happened multiple times. The door key to our room was also finicky. The TV would turn on but we couldn’t watch television, and the room was very dark even with all lights on. We were very disappointed. I didn’t rate the staff as I did not see any staff members during the stay. The breakfast was very basic and consisted of hard muffins, cereal, waffles and oatmeal. Would not recommend.

I will definitly be coming back again for another stay. This was my 2nd stay there and it has been good every single time. Staff is very friendly too and very helpful and understanding. The $50 extra charge for damages. I wasn't expecting that at all because your site stated the cost was 175.00 and then they added on the charge at the site and it has nowhere in our description that we would have got charged the extra 50 unless you need to pay for extra benefit..like having a pet, any of the other items that were listed. It was a very sad deal because we were trying to stay there while my mother-in-law had surgery to give her a ride home the next day.
