Room and common areas were clean. Pool area was tidy and pool was warm and comfortable
We enjoyed a meal at Ruffs one of the attached dining options. It was very good with the exception of our wings were literally cold.
The morning breakfast was hot and offered four different warm options along with cooked oatmeal and waffles
We will stay again.

Staff was great and very friendly. Room was clean and ready to go except electronics and lights etc were not plugged in. Breakfast was hot. It was nice having access to two restaurants and not far from Robbin's Island Park which is amazing! Willmar is not the greatest town and was their for a workshop and it was nice coming back to a comfy, cozy, and clean place.

The room was clean and welcoming, the front desk signed me up for the rewards and was very pleased with the offer and kindness. I had left a stuffed moose by accident and I was able to call and have someone get it. It saved a heartbreak!
I would suggest items found be tagged to the room and time to be able to reach out if something could be irreplacable but not complaining just a tip would help elevate the guest experience and trust/loyalty but they did right by me! Breakfast was amazing as well! Will stay again.

For the price I expected a better breakfast. Toothpaste all over the bathroom wall and artwork. Musty smell when we walked in. We stay in Minneapolis every week and we get better rooms for $50.00 less. With a nice breakfast.

I almost exclusively use Best Western, and my flagship locations are Salem OR and Yakima WA. Unfortunately the Willmar location is a tired hotel, not what you would expect for $200 which is more than any other BW I have stayed at. Lumpy pillows?? Wow, thats what I would expect from old budget motels from my past. They tried to make it nice with modern coffee makers, mini fridge and so on, but the bed, pillows, shower, hall carpet and exterior gave its age away. Their Bar and Grill ‘Ruffs’ was nice with great beer and great staff but they couldn’t do a burger right, too greasy of a bison burger, no veggies on top. The weight room and spa looked good but I didn’t check them out.

Good stay for the price. Rooms are quite small and relatively outdated, but very clean. Pool was great for our kids and seemed well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and house keeping did not stop by our room; not a big deal but with 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant we could have used more towels and trash taken out. We would likely stay here again if in the area because of the pool and the hotel being pet friendly. There were events both nights of our stay but we hardly noticed and had no issues with noise.

This hotel served my purposes. It had a sitting area and frig and microwave. You had the ability to do whatever you needed to. There is an indoor pool that is surrounded by hotel rooms. It wasn't an issue for me, but it is unusual. They don't have room service while you are there. While I was there, it was very quiet. I would stay here again.

Musty Rooms

We have stayed at this hotel several times each time we stay there we have respiratory issues. The HVAC units smell musty. Considering the prices of the rooms in Willmar are as high are higher then Minneapolis but you have no choice because there is no other options on places to stay.

Disappointed that the hot tub was set way too hot. No one was in it the whole time we were here. My husband always takes a hot tub where ever we stay and has never come across one this hot, not good. Also our toilet was running when we entered the room, my husband adjusted it and then it was fine.

Great place

Great place! Friendly staff. Wonderfully clean rooms. Great breakfast. Fitness center open 24hrs with great cardioid equipment. There was no maid service because of help shortage which means I had to make the towels and washcloths provided stretch, but to be fair, I could have called the front desk for additional supplies. I had a poolside room which was a bit noisy at night, but nothing I couldn't handle. I have family in Willmar, so next time I know someplace convenient and clean and comfy to stay.

Nice property and good stay.

The person that checked us in was very polite. She really wanted to meet our dog. She indicated that the staff love pets. The room was quiet. The hot tub was our main purpose for coming there after a day of painting with our son and daughter-in-law in the cities. We were tired and everything went well.

The room was very nicely decorated. Yet the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom.

This hotel disappointed me in so many ways. our room had a strong smell of chlorine. Disappointed that the fridge was on but wouldn't cool anything. They did a poor job of cleaning our room before we got it. I understand that with COVID they had to do their own version of a complimentary breakfast, but I went somewhere else the second night I stayed because it was horrible the first day. It would have been nice if they would have given us a WIFI that worked the first time. I had to call the front desk to find out they had an error on the WIFI sticker. Overall, Best Western has made it on my do not stay at again list.
