We stayed at Villa Exelsior during our honeymoon and it was truly a 10/10 experience! Our room had a sunning view of the mountains and sea, we had breakfast brought up to our room every morning and the staff were incredible attentive. They helped us with restaurant reservations and activities. The pool area is also stunning. We felt so at home during our stay and didn't want to leave!!

Truly a wonderful, warm place to stay. Staff is excellent and room was absolutely amazing. The place was so extremely charming. Loved the pool area too. Will absolutely be staying here again next time we go to Capri. Food and drinks were excellent too. Highly recommended.

Best welcome ever had

The hotel offers tremendous personal service, they came to the boat arrival at 10:30 in the morning and handled our luggage and the ride to the hotel. Upon arrival they situated us comfortably with delicious food while waiting for the room to be ready. They also provided a car ride to the town center for us to explore Capri right away.

One of, if not the best, hotel experiences I have come across. The property has beautiful views, the hotel is immaculately maintained and most importantly the staff and service were the best I have ever encountered at any 5 star hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and always available for any needs. I knew the views would be beautiful based on online photos but I was pleasantly surprised by the phenomenal service.

The staff at the resort were amazing!

The minute we checked in we were greeted by Emanuel who did an incredible job at showcasing the hotel’s services, the best places to eat, and the must see spots around the island. In addition throughout our stay, Emanuel was always open to helping us with any kind of conveniences include laundry and dining reservations.

Whenever we ate at the restaurant at the resort we had an amazing server name Neli. She is probably the kindest server my wife and I have ever seen. To add, she always made sure our drink glasses were always full and our orders were on time and delicious.

Thirdly, Mario who was another hotel concierge, was extremely friendly, he upgraded our room in order to make our honeymoon even more special! He also was very friendly in answering many of my silly questions about places to eat and my reservations.

Finally, the hotel has a driver named Buddiua, he was always available to drive us to the Capri town square and the marina grande port. In addition, he is extremely professional and friendly. If you call the hotel to pick you up, he will be there in 3 minutes.

The service and beauty of this hotel is top notch! Even the toiletry kit was just TOO CUTE! They insist you don’t lift a finger! Location is close to the port, not town but they have a free shuttle to take you to either or. The complimentary breakfast was also Devine! Being an older hotel; my only “cons” are that the room was quite stuffy, we had to leave the patio door open our whole stay, and the closet smelled really bad. Like someone else’s soiled clothes. The bed was also very uncomfortable. Otherwise- the property is stunning and the service is out of this world! A word to those considering Capri- it’s very small, and unless you’re planning a lot of water excursions- I would personally recommend only staying 1 or 2 nights tops. You can easily do it all within 24 hours.

I would consider one of the best places we ever stayed. The staff from reception, drivers, waitreses and etc.. makes you feel like a family and willing to go extra 10 miles for you. They are making your stay enjoyable, unforgettable and memorable. We only had a breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious, everything was fresh. Room was cleaned twice a day. They suggested for us a few restaurants and made reservations. Thank you guys.

This was our second reservation with Parco but will not be our last.
They have a vehicle that meets you at the ferry dock and will take care of your luggage as well.

This hotel was so amazing. The aesthetic and details of this place is beautiful. But the real standout is the staff. The staff is so friendly nice and attentive. Everyone made you feel like family and they truly were the sweetest. The food here was also AMAZING. Best raviolis ive ever had and this was our third italian stop. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Excelsior Parco! The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and close to everything. The room was big and clean with a relaxing balcony. The hotel provided free transportation to and from the port and main square that was very helpful and convenient. The breakfast everyday was amazing in a beautiful garden setting. There is so many amazing qualities of this hotel but the staff is the real gem! They immediately welcome you as family and you really feel their care throughout your stay. Gaia and Gianpiero are so attentive and caring. They make sure that your time in Capri is incredible and everything you dreamed it would be—and they made it happen! Peppe, was like an old family friend -his warm smile each morning at breakfast was always a nice way to start the day… in addition to the delicious breakfast and coffee him and his staff provided. Buddika and Marco were both so helpful and worked hard to make sure your experience was always wonderful. A truly remarkable hotel !

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The level of service and hospitality was superb from the start as we were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks, in addition to being given a detailed map of the island with helpful information for desired beach clubs, restaurants and shopping. We were also given a tour of the property, which was stunning - particularly loved the charming sun terrace and garden, as well as the rooftop pool. We loved having breakfast in the picturesque garden terrace. Our room was luxurious and always kept clean during our stay - also stocked with plenty of complimentary waters and a bottle of wine. The boutique provided a complimentary car service, which was a huge convenience during our stay and much appreciated. The hotel was even gracious enough to secure dinner reservations for us at the very popular lemon restaurant. All of the staff were so kind, friendly and accommodating during our stay - it was such a wonderful experience, highly recommend!

What can I possibly say about this spectacular hotel? This was hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Every convenience was thought of, from the private shuttles to a Bluetooth speaker in our room. Beautiful decor, excellent food and drinks. The pool is amazing, the staff were all so accommodating. A special thank you to Peppe, who went above and beyond to help make my proposal to my girlfriend special! They also sent a gorgeous bouquet of roses to our room to congratulate us. Truly outstanding staff, very thoughtful and always helpful.
Location in between harbor and downtown on steep uphill road is actually quite positive as there are no major crowds walking around the hotel and you can drive in and out of the property.
At night the hotel is peaceful and with its authentic Art Deco style really quite romantic.

After a busy week in Rome for our 15th wedding anniversary, my husband and I escaped via train and ferry to Capri.
As we pulled into port, we called the Excelsior Parco as instructed, and in less than 5 minutes, we were picked up in a private car by our driver that quickly took our bags, opened our doors, and drove us to this beautiful villa. I cannot express how attentive the entire staff was for our stay--the moment we arrived, both villa doors were opened by smiling faces, and we were welcomed to partake in a fantastic (included) breakfast that was still being served (it was close to 11am at this point). From the salmon/cream cheese tarts and Caprese salad, to the fresh fruit/oatmeal/nuts/trail mix with yogurt varieties, to the a la carte menu that included made-to-order omelets and crepes (with nutella :), the food was so appreciated after a morning of traveling.
The attention from the staff only continued to include a map/tablet guided \"tour\" of how to get around the island and what to see, with the option to use our private car transport at any point that was needed.
Pepe was our manager and friend that made certain our service and meals were on point (and our dinner was 5 star with amazing food and attention as well).
We are hoping to come back to Capri with our children in the near future--we cannot wait to introduce them to our friends at the Excelsior Parco! Thank you for helping make our anniversary very special.

Fantastic hotel and service. Beautiful views and the staff was incredible. We stayed in the 1906 suite, which was amazing. The only thing about the whole experience I would have changed is the bed in the suite, which is a split queen or king mattress, which I know is common in Europe. Was just uncomfortable for my wife and I as I woke up in the crease a few times.

This hotel is more than a hotel it's like home. The minute you arrive by boat the hotel driver is waiting to take you to the hotel . This is a great service. Arriving at the hotel I expected a normal hotel check in . I could not be more wrong. Next up peppe invited us into a lovely garden for a relaxing drink or two. Marino peppe service was remarkable . Next up was a gentleman with a map of the island to explain things to see and do while on Capri. He then explained the free car shuttle service. The breakfast was remarkable . We also had a fantastic romantic dinner at the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful . The service was remarkable ... The shuttle service was fantastic. Very nice rooms. If I could rate the vile excelsior higher that a 10 I would. Thank you for a great vacation.

A delightful luxurious hotel distinguished by its charming character and particularly by its attentive and friendly staff in reception, in the restaurant and shuttling us to Capri and the port. Great Hotel! Outstanding service , their staff is amazing specially Pepe and Chambinde. The hotel is close to the marina they provide shuttle. There breakfast is delicious you can habe it at your room or the garden with an awesome view. The Hotel top roof has a jacuzzi and a incredible view of the marina. Everything about the Excelsior Parco was outstanding - the view, the room, the breakfasts, the car for shuttling to the marina and Capri center, and most spectacularly: the people. The amenities and details are very beautiful- and everything was perfect. The Villa offers a free shuttle to and from Marina Grande (3 minutes away) and Capri (5-8 minutes away). Nice boutique hotel (11 rooms only), very well maintained and very friendly helpful staff. Hotel is located on the Marina Grande area which is very quiet and facing the sea which can be seen from the upper levels of the hotel. It is also has a small garden where you can be served food & drinks or just chill out.

The complimentary breakfast served in the room is amazing as well as the views on the sea and mountains around.

The rooftop of the hotel is a nice spot: with sun beds and a jaccuzzi for thoss who don’t have on in their room.

Hotel has 2 drivers who will drop and pick up you at Marina Grande or Capri center. Both locations are 10/15 mins walking distance when going down hill.

Definitevely a perfect place to stay!

Beautiful room, bathroom and view. We had the big terrace and hot tub for two and that was nice.

Balconies overlooked others so not real private. The other rooms balconies were very small. There were also some bad view from balcony. Not a big deal though.

They have a hot tub for two on the rooftop for guest without hot tubs on their balcony.

The garden was beautiful.

The staff people (room service, drivers)were real friendly and wonderful. The front desk had communication barriers and under friendly. Not personable.

Room service was QUICK. Breakfast was good and complimentary. Fresh organic eggs,omelettes and more.

AC worked great.

We had a shower that was a waterfall, rain shower and handle.

Our room was clean, fresh and pretty.

Many high end hotels are picking up and dropping off and helping with luggage at ferry, ours met us and dropped us off at the center where we had to carry all of our bags about 2 long blocks thru thousands of people. We paid a porter when we left to help us.

Went for few days during Easter. The hotel staff is wonderful: Peppe was looking after us extremely well, he is very attentive and experienced; Frederica helped to plan day trips to Pompeii and around the island. I have stayed in many, many hotels worldwide, I must say I have experienced both bad and good in my hotels experience. However, this is probably the first time where I have nothing to complain about about the hotel, be it the hotel itself, the staff, their food, the view, everything was perfect and far beyond expectation.
Upon my arrival, I was greeted with fresh lemon juice and then was given a choice to choose between rooms! We were give a free meal to compensate for a slight sound that was coming from a different room due to mentainance (which I hardly felt to be honest), aside for that we were also offered a free snack+tea+coffee+desserts!
I must say that their room views are so beautiful during sunrise, sunset and during the rest of the day.
I would like to thank all the hotel staff especially Valerio, Maria Rosaria, Pepe (amazing chef) and Fedrica.

A true boutique experience with a 5 stars service

If there is one thing that is hard to find nowadays when you pay for a premium price hotel; It is a good old genuine quality of service. And if you decide to book a room at the Excelsior parco in Capri, this is exactly what you will get. From the moment you walk in, the impeccable service is immediately noticeable. every member of staff is fully dedicated to your needs and are here to make sure that YOU will have the best possible time in capri. It almost feel like you are staying at your own villa on holiday and everyone is at your disposal. From the moment we have been picked up by the smiley hotel driver at the ferry port, it has been a joy ride, and to be honest a breath of fresh air in the quite widespread rather rude attitude you get from a lot of other hotel and restaurants on the Amalfi coast. i would like to thanks all the hotel staff and in particular the kind lady at the reception that provided us with all the information we would ever need for our stay as well as our dear F & B manager
Marino Peppe to cater for all our culinary and wine drinking needs during our stay. You guys have done a really outstanding job.

2 wonderful days!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! We took our two girls age 8 and 11 to Capri for 2 days. The staff was wonderful, from the minute we stepped off the ferry. The waiter, Peppe, was so fun and sweet to our girls, they loved him! The food was excellent, the hotel was beautiful, and what is better than having a car service to take you wherever you want to go! We would definitely stay here again!

Small hotel for those who do not like crowds

It is nice boutique hotel for those who do not like crowd.Very friendly staff ,just a bit mad on ecology...Just location is not perfect:far away from all centers,but they have limousine to help for guests.And busy street passing by makes noise.No pool there.

World class service

This hotel is AMAZING! I have stayed in some top rated hotels but the service here is like nothing I've ever experienced... it's so personalized you feel like you're staying with the Italian family you never knew you had! Also doesn't hurt that the hotel is in a gorgeous old Italian villa. They drove us to and from Marina Grande and Capritown as a courtosey, set up excursions and had tickets ready to go to save us from standing in line, greeted us with welcome drinks and made us breakfast to-go when we had to catch an early ferry. I wish I remembered everyone's name but special thanks to Marino and Maria!

Nice hotel in Capri

This is a nice hotel in Capri. It is located close to the dock and they have a driving service that is exceptional and accommodating in taking guests around Capri. The \"hotel\" itself is actually an old mansion that has been turned into a hotel. It has old world Capri charm and friendly staff. They have a good breakfast and are always willing to please. Overall, the staff are great.

Perfect boutique hotel

The view from the rooftop lounging area is breathtaking and, while not in the center if things, the free shuttle driver made our stay a pleasure. He even got us to our boat back to Sorrento without hassle. The breakfast chef Malinda gave me his secret recipe for the to-die-for lemon cake served breakfast. The 2 hour private boat trip arranged by our hotel was the highlight of our trip. Thank you all for a wonderful 4 days!

Beautiful converted villa comprising 11 rooms.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the first moment of our arrival. A surprise birthday cake was made for my girlfriend the first day, and this level of service continued right up until the end of our stay. A special thanks should be given to Viviana, Rosaria, and Andres (excuse my spelling). The room was very comfortable, the balcony and hot tub were a treat, and its position in relation to the port and Capri centre are perfect.

Fabulous Honeymoon Stay

This was the first stop on our honeymoon and a great one. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel welcomed. The location of the hotel is perfect- close enough to walk to town but perched atop the hill where you can enjoy peace and quiet and some of the best views of Capri. The food was incredible and the wine- always being poured! I would highly recommend the Excelsior Parco to anyone visiting Capri.

Helped us even after check out with ferry tickets and transportation to ferry. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to other travelers. Quiet Luxury Villa

Just far enough away from the populated areas of Capri to be a quiet oasis. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating, with free shuttle service and breakfast. The patio is serene.

Lemonade from lemons.

We were just visiting Capri on a day trip from Sorrento and the ferries stopped running (Italy,,, go figure). We had to find a room last min and our hotel in sorrento suggested this one. The whole staff was incredible, especially Viviana! They helped us by calling every hour to check if the ferry was running again and made our stay there very comfortable. Dinner was delicious and the chef came out and met is and made a few suggestions. I'm not sure when we will be back in Capri again, but if we come back, we will definitely be staying here.
