The room and staff were good. Safe did not work but should be fixed soon. Did not try the pool but it looked inviting with plenty of places to sit. Only con is that it is a 32minute uphill walk to the Cathedral but there are buses readily available. Bus #7. It is a 10 m8nute walk to Renfe train (flat) and 15 minute walk to Bus station (uphill).

Definitely an older building, but fairly well kept. Clean. Had a comfortable stay. Staff was welcoming. A short walk from city shops and restaurants and other attractions. Beware that the brick and patterned sidewalks of Jaen make walking with roller luggage a bit of a challenge, but taxis are abundant and reasonably priced.

The property is located at the entrance to the town but walking distance to everything. We were very tired but the staff allowed us to check in early so we could rest. There is a restaurant on site and a bar where we were able to have a bite before checking in. The waiting area is very confortable. Overall an excellent place to spend a few days.

The hotel advertises a pool, which was closed. This was tremendously disappointing because that weekend it was extremely hot in Jaén (around100 F) and we were dreaming of having the first splash of the summer. They also advertise a \"full gym\". The gym was nothing but disappointing as well: a small room without AC and no water fountain. There were three stationary bikes, one treadmill, and a couple of machines more. One of the bikes didn´t even work as it was impossible to switch it on. We picked the hotel because of the amenities that were attractive to us, even though we knew it was extremely far for the center of town, but we ended up being disappointed that none of these amenities were as advertised.

Comfortable and well-appointed hotel

The room was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable.
The hotel and room were beautifully decorated with ornate furniture.
All hotel staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast had a great assortment.
Although it did not worry us, it was a 25 minute walk to the city centre. Or the local bus fare was 1 euro.

Hotel needs some updating. Rooms are large which is nice. Staff were rather busy and not the most helpful, specially when asking for information about the city, transportation, but were very accommodating when I had to chance my reservations and leave earlier than planned.

Hotel is about a 30 minute uphill walk to the centre of the city along a very busy and noisy street. There is nothing around the hotel and it is located in a depressed area of Jaen. A lot of graffiti and closed shops. While the beds were very comfortable , there was a strong sewer smell from the bathroom. Disgusting! We had to keep the bedroom window open. The hotel was quite noisy with people talking in rooms all around us and banging wooden doors. Staff was friendly.

Nice folks at check in. A bit of a tired hotel. Fine, but aging. Due to design of the hotel, all rooms are off of the multi-story lobby atrium... which means noise. Bed was hard and scratchy, but usual for Spain. Bathroom was spacious.

Beautiful hotel, located on the main route into the city, it has very friendly staff who were ever helpful. The city centre was vibrant and busy and very easy to access. A street festival was on when we visited and the cafes and bars were thronged with girls in flamenco dresses dancing together.

The drive down the parking lot, was a bit nerve wrecking, because of its narrowness & it being two ways! that's the only sort of negative comment about our experience there. We loved the decor of the lobby and the room. The room was huge, with a sitting room and spacious bathroom, excellently decorated. The location could not be better, proximity to excellent restaurants and shopping. They offered free wifi & the parking charge was very reasonable. The room as well as hallways and lobby were immaculate. The staff super friendly & very helpful. We would definitely recommend it & would stay there again!

This hotel has the benefit of being easy to find. It is a decent large hotel with well trained staff. The rooms have all of what you need but are a bit old fashioned and not especially comfortable. Good points were free wifi hurrah this should be standard in all hotels and safe parking.

What a gem!

This hotel was a complete surprise but a good one. The quality of the facilities, access to secure hotel parking, reasonable tariff, delicious evening meal served at the cafeteria by a very professional waiter - an overall good experience and we would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Jaen. No need to go out of the hotel though as the local neighborhood has very little to offer.

La habitación se encontraba cruzando la zona de la piscina. Para ir a desayuna me mojé por la lluvia y casi me lleva el viento. Lo interesante es la poca información al realizar el check in. Solo te dice siga las indicaciones que son muy pocas. Si te dan la habitación 117 +- no aceptes. Me quedé por el cansancio. El personal de restaurante muy amable.

Die Dame beim Check-In war sehr unfreundlich. Ob es an meinem schlechten Spanisch lag, oder an chronischer Unlust kann nur vermutet werden. In jedem Fall gab es kein Lächeln, sondern ein grimmiges Gesicht. Das Hotel insgesamt ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch hat es durchaus Stil. Da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren, können wir zum Frühstück etc. nichts sagen.

Horrible. No se lo recomiendo ni a mi peor enemigo

Acostumbro a dormir en hoteles 3 noches a la semana. Y este ha sido peor hotel con mucha diferencia.
Para llegar a la habitación hay que hacer una travesía por puertas y escaleras, nada adaptado para personas con maletas. Todo muy viejo y antiguo, no vintage, si no viejo por uso. El baño con un olor horrible a desagüe.
Entiendo que habrá habitaciones infinitamente mejores, pero en mi caso fue horrible.

El trato del personal fue muy bueno, con el peloteo habitual de los hoteles. Agradezco mucho al servicio de limpieza de habitaciones por hacer todo lo posible por intentar adecentar al máximo habitaciones que tienen más años que la tos.

Está claro que con la poca oferta de hoteles en Jaen no tienen que esforzarse mucho, ya que todo viajero acabará muriendo ahí.

En resumen, no se lo recomiendo ni a mi peor enemigo.

El hotel en su conjunto esta bien, quizá con una decoración muy clásica. Lo peor la ducha, no funcionaba nada bien, deseando volver a casa para darme una ducha en condiciones. Su situación te permite tener cerca todo lo que necesitas porque está en pleno centro de Jaén. El hotel tiene solera, es tradicional, suelo de las habitaciones enmoquetado y decoración clásica. Las camas son muy cómodas, incluso la supletoria que pusieron en la habitación porque éramos tres en el viaje, lo era. La atención en recepción inmejorable.

En hotel está bien, se ve antiguo aunque reformado. Lo peor el ruido que hace el aire acondicionado y que las ventanas no insonorizan el ruido de la calle lo suficiente, aunque se puede aguantar. La cisterna del WC no dejaba de perder agua con el consiguiente ruido. Salvo estos detalles, en general aceptable.

O hotel, pesie a estar lonxe do centro (30 minutos camiñando), é dos millores de Jaén. Non era a primeira visita. Precisa duns retoques xa que leva tempo funcionando. En recepción, o persoal é escaso, o que provoca retrasos na atención ao cliente. O almorzo podería millorar dabondo, tratándose dun hotel de catro estrelas. O persoal é amábel e servicial.

Na chegada tudo parece ok, o interior do hotel é ok. Mas o Quarto sem ar condicionado, estava calor e não dava nem para abrir janela pois com elas fechadas o barulho da rua já era insuportável. Zero isolamento acústico, tanto da rua quanto do corredor do hotel. Troquei de quarto e mesmo assim dava para ouvir barulho e a tv desse segundo não funcionava.
