Beautiful quite (off the path a bit) location on the lake, walkable road/trail and a few steps from cows and farmland, or to a few beach towns but surrounded by nice summer and permanent homes as this location is commutable to Munich. Great patio and restaurant that fills up with locals in the evenings as not a lot of other restaurants in the area.

Great hotel in a fantastic location on the lake. Outdoor dinning terrace was a big bonus overlooking the water. I highly reccomend this hotel.

Hotel has the good location if you want to enjoy the lake. My room was decent, not that comfortable. There is a big parking in front of the hotel. They serve brekfast, but it was pretty poor.

Wonderful Winter Weekend in Ambach!
A friend and I recently spent a winter weekend in Ambach and totally enjoyed our stay at the Landhotel Huber. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the reception and dining room staff were friendly and accommodating; the breakfast buffet was substantial, and dinner entrees delicious. Their location on the lake is ideal for walking into the village, and convenient for touring other areas in Bavaria and Austria. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in warmer weather!

Lovely small hotel in a quiet lakeside town
The building is a typical Bavarian small town Gasthof, but is modern enough, in very good condition and run by kind, warm people. There is very little directly nearby, but the breakfast was great and the biergarten & restaurant are top notch. You can even arrange \"half\" or \"full\" board if you want to just relax, enjoy this quiet natural spot and not have to figure out where to go for lunch and dinner.

Frühstück war auch absolut in Ordnung, mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Kaffeevollautomat mit verschiedenen Auswahlmöglichkeiten und sehr gutem Kaffee.
