Nice stay

We had a very nice stay. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was outstanding. The only negative is that the air conditioning was not working. We don’t know if they just had not turned it on? It was warm on the 3rd floor. We did have a fan, which was ok. I would highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful scenery.

Very relaxing stay. We got lucky with the last free parking space available, as it is pretty limited. The views of the lake are unbeatable. Highly recommend eating at the restaurant! Good precautions taken for covid-19.

It’s a lovely medium sized hotel where you will feel at home immediately. The waiting staff is excellent and very friendly. It’s something I rarely see, even in 5 star hotels you do not see the staff be as helpful and friendly as here. They do a marvelous job! It was our second visit and I’m sure we will be back. I think without this hotel the village wouldn’t be as popular as it is I think.

Secret spot found within Southern Germany

It was charming and romantic right on the lake. Definitely recommend getting a lake front from. The restaurant for dinner was fabulous and the breakfast the next morning was very elaborate. They make accessing the lake and beach area easy with a bag ready to go for you. There are two funky little bars on either wide of the hotel as well we enjoyed watching the sunset at! I highly recommend this as a place to go for a day trip from Munich.

Das erste Zimmer hatte ein kleines Problem mit der Klimaanlage. Wir bekamen sofort (!) das Angebot, in ein anderes Zimmer umzuziehen, das ausserdem ein sehr angenehmes Upgrade war. Top Service, sehr freundlich! Ich empfehle ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Seeblick zu nehmen.

Wunderschöne Gegend und gern wieder

die Umgebung, der See, die Gastronomie und bei uns auch das Wetter waren wunderschön. Die direkte Lage am See des Hotels super. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen. Vielseitiges Frühstück. Alles was das Herz begehrt. Der Parkplatz direkt gegenüber des Hotels. Nur einige Dinge unseres Zimmers sind in die Jahre gekommen und wären was zum austauschen. So zB die WC Spülung denn es läuft bis der komplette Wasserkasten leer ist und die Stopfunktion ist defekt. Ist nicht umweltfreundlich.
Wir haben darauf hingewiesen bei der Abreise.

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig, direkt am See. Man kann herrlich abends oder nachmittags an der Promenade sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen.
Und auch das Frühstückbüffet ist prima. Wir mussten nur Gesichtsmasken tragen, wenn wir uns im Frühstückraum bewegten, und auch einen Plastikhandschuh, wenn man sich am Büffet bediente. Sonst war alles wir normal.
Ich möchte besonders die leckeren frischen Brötchen, die Obstplatte und das frisch nach Bedarf zubereitete Omelette hervorheben. Da blieb eigentlich kein Wunsch offen.
Und auch die Bediensteten waren super nett.

Zimmer: mordern aber klein, und ein noch kleineres bad. Balkon und offenes fenster abends nicht nutzbar da die Gäste unterhalb in der bar jeden abend einen höheren Lärmpegel verursachen.
Essen: Frühstück hervorragend, Abendessen viel zu teuer 2 Personen vor- und Hauptspeise über 100€ ohne Spirituosen
Bar/ Terrasse: eher club atmosphäre
Parkplatzsituation: man sollte früh von Ausflügen zurück sein sonnst muss man kostenpflichtige Parkplätze nutzen.
Alles in allem moderner eindruck allerdings kleinigkeiten die einen nachdenklich machen.

Perle direkt am See

Durch die Lage direkt am See, nur durch den schmalen Kieselsteinstrand und Gehweg getrennt, kommt sofort ein Urlaubsgefühl auf. Angenehme Lobby, grosszügige Aussen-Lounge, Gartenrestaurant sind einige Höhepunkte. Leicht getrübt wurde die Erfahrung, indem Hotelgäste beim Aperitif für Snacks (Erdnüsse) zur Kasse gebeten wurden; Euro 3.--/pro Person.
Die Zimmer sind ordentlich gross, nur die Duschkabine war sehr klein (im 3. Stock). Verlockendes Frühstücksbuffet, wo Eierspeisen auf Wunsch serviert werden.

Viel Positives, lautes Zimmer + Servicemängel

positiv: wunderschöne Lage / sehr guter Zustand des Hotels/sehr sauber/sehr freundlicher + schneller Check-in / gute Auswahl + gute Qualität des Frühstücks / Dinner im \"Steg 32\", über alle 3 Gänge begeistert. Sehr freundliche + gut gelaunte Bedienung / kostenfreie Nutzung von Sauna + Dampfbad.
Nun zu 2 negativen Punkten, die uns zu einer negativen Gesamtbewertung veranlassen: Wir sind kurz vor Schließung der Rezeption (nur bis 23:00 Uhr besetzt) angereist + wurden von einer gut gelaunten Mitarbeiterin sehr freundlich empfangen. Nach einer ruhigen Nacht waren wir bis dahin sehr zufrieden. Beim Frühstück wurden wir von der Bedienung Jana am Tisch zurechtgewiesen, uns nicht an einen noch nicht gedeckten Tisch zu setzen. Wir hätten an den Krümeln auf dem Holztisch erkennen können, dass der Tisch noch nicht fertig sei. Auf den Hinweis, die Krümel nicht gesehen zu haben, erfolgte die zweite Zurechtweisung: wir hätten an dem Kinderstuhl erkennen können, dass der Tisch noch nicht fertig sei. Jana gab dann meine Bestellung eines Omeletts mit den Worten \"Du wirst sterben, die wollen noch ein Omelette\" an die Küche weiter. Leuk hotel; mooie locatie

Fijn hotel; vriendelijk personeel en zoals verwacht erg verzorgde algemene ruimtes en kamers; het enige wat ik miste was een airco. De kamer was behoorlijk benauwd na een erg warme dag. Maar alle andere zaken maakten dat in principe goed. Ik zou er zo weer naartoe gaan.

Hält nicht was es verspricht.

Naja.... die Beschreibung war besser als das Erlebnis.
Betritt man das Hotel denkt man zuerst wow... gemütlich, umso weiter das man vordringt desto nüchterner wird der Eindruck.
Der Wellnessbereich besteht aus einer Sauna und einem Dampfbad. 4 Liegestühle in einem sterilem Raum ohne Musik und vor allem ohne Ausblick nach Außen lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein.
Im Restaurant war das Essen sehr gut, aber die kühle Architektur ist sehr laut. Gemütlich ist etwas anderes.
Was absolut nicht geht ist, dass morgens um 7.30 die Zimmerdamen ihre Wägen lautstark in den Flur schieben und wenn man zum Lift oder Treppenhaus möchte an der Schmutzwäsche der anderen Zimmer vorbei muss.
Alles im Allen ein netter Aufenthalt dank der Umgebung.

Cozy Place at a Perfect Lake Location

Located at the very end of Train S8 (non-stop connected to Munich Airport) it is easy to access. The location, right on the lake just with a pedestrian side walk in between, is outstanding.
Hotel has been refurbished in 2015 in public area. Rooms are fresh as well whereas bathrooms are small and show a bit of the former \"flavor\" with brownish marble.
The hotel's atmosphere is cozy and modern. The large terrace is overlooking the lake-side.
Booking a room with balcony to the lake-side is highly recommended and worth the extra-charge.
Breakfast is good and the price of 18,90€/pax is acceptable.

Negative is the weak internet connection - wifi works well but the provider is weak for the internet access.

Kurzurlaub im sehr schönen Ammerseehotel. Beim Auschecken war der SEvice nicht vorhanden was sehr schade und kundenunfreundlich war. Störend fand ich das die Sauna erst auf Anweisung eingeschaltet wurde. Sehr schöne Massageräume und entspannende Anwendungen.

Ganz nett aber etwas enttäuschend

Schickes Hotel aber Basics haben gefehlt. WLAN war schrecklich und funktionierte fast gar nicht, keine Mini Bar oder Wasserkocher im Zimmer und am ersten Tag war sogar kein Warmes Wasser vorhanden. Frühstück Service war auch enttäuschend.

Nettes Hotel direkt am Ammersee

Das gesamte Gebäude wurde vor ein paar Jahren renoviert und somit sieht alles sehr freundlich, hell und stylisch aus. Das gesamte Team war immer um uns bemüht sodass wir den Aufenthalt genossen haben. Die direkte Lage an der Seepromenade ist angenehm wodurch weitere Restaurants und Freizeitangebote zu Fuß innerhalb von 10 min erreichbar sind. Das Frühstücksbuffett war sehr reichhaltig und man konnte sich Rührei oder auch ein Glas Sekt kostenfrei mit dazu bestellen. Frühstück pro Nase 18,90€ aber Preis-/Leistung ist für mich okay. Manko für uns war die Nicht-Verfügbarkeit des SPA-Angebotes am Sonntag und Montag da das Team da Ihre freien Tage hat. Sauna usw. war immer nutzbar aber die Dienstleistungen des SPA an diesen Tagen nicht buchbar. Somit wurde leider nix aus einem Wellness-Weekend, aber wir hatten trotzdem ein schönes langes Wochenende dort. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.
