Under construction weird layout

The room was so spacious for 2 people, but here was construction on 2 of the 4 floors so we weren't able to access the common space nor the public bath, so it was very disappointing. There's also a Chinese restaurant located on the 1st floor, so of u go down with the elevator, you end up inside the restaurant and if u go down too early you'll be locked inside the restaurant.

quick bus ride to get to the hotel (that bus is usually quite busy since it goes to kiyomizu dera)
hotel is easy to find.
loved the location, it was really close to kiyomizu dera and nice area to go for a nice walk- absolutely loved it!
close to a bike rental place.
the Twin Bunk Bed was spacious
shower area was small felt like it'd be touching the wall or the curtain.

The Amenity Hotel is an older no frills place. The location is actually pretty great. It's very close to a bus stop so that you can easily get there from the Airport and/or use the bus to get to other touristy locations. Additionally there's area almost directly behind the hotel within walking distance that's filled with shrines (and other tourist stuff), tourist shops, and restaurants. The place is kept clean and they provided clean towels, shampoo, soap, etc, and service was fine. Our one major concern was the beds. We were in a two capsule room with a fold out couch for three people. The capsules have small mattress/mats that feel like craft foam over a hard board. Every 5-10 minutes I'd wake up because my hips or shoulder hurt. The second night I switched to the fold out couch. It was better. However it was so broken on one side that you sank to a hole in the middle and could feel the board or whatever underneath one side...We're not very picky, but the main requirement is the ability to get a good rest after walking all day and unfortunately that was not possible.

Value for money

Stayed there for one night, we booked a traditional Japanese style tatami (which I love!) family room which actually only fits 3 futons, but roomy nonetheless (not to forget there is a lift here for heavy luggage!). Check in was a breeze and the hotel staff was quite friendly. In the room, we can find a 'mini' vanity table with power outlets, a huge dining/living table, a TV, wall hangers (for clothes, of course), a built in 'closet' for beddings and stuff (which we helped ourselves with). The room has an en-suite bathroom as well, with standard Japanese bathroom facilities. The absence of air conditioning was not a problem as it was cold out (there was only a heater), so we cracked a window and let the cold air come in, as we are not used to sleeping in any warm condition. Thoroughly enjoyed the futon.

There are quite some restaurants around, we had no trouble looking for food. The only 'not-so' minus to this place is that it is only accessible by bus/cab in a near distance.

If there is another chance to visit West Japan, I would be sure to stay here again.

2 Night in the History District in Kyoto

Location of Hotel is very convenience to many main attraction in Kyoto. Hotel could be reach with bus with in 10 minutes (230 yen per way from Kyoto station). You can just get a one day bus pass at 500 yen and get around the kyoto after check in.

The room we booked actually can accomodate up to 5 person so is quite huge in the way for just two of us. Reception at first floor, lift available from ground floor only when the chinese restaurance is open 11am - 2.30pm and Evening probably 6pm - 10pm, so have to carry your luggage up to 1st floor if restaurant is close.

Hotel and room are clean but the cushion in the room (tatami cushion) was 'worned out' but they still place them in the room.

BARGAIN!

The room i stayed in was a private 2 pod room which is good in size. Plenty of area for your luggage. It was my first time experiencing a pod. I have to say it was quite roomy. The pillows were hard. So i had a stiff neck when i woke up. Besides that the service was nice from the hotel. They change your sheets, linen and towels everyday. They also replenish your toothbrush and shaver too every morning around 10am. I had no charger for my phone and the front desk lend me one for the whole stay. For the price you pay, i think it is a bargain. After all it is just a place to rest so that you can recharge for the next morning to wonder their temples and shrines.

Private rooms with private bathrooms are offered!

We had a private room with private bathroom, 2 capsules, and a futon couch. They also provided a Japanese futon set on top of the futon couch. Service was great! Even on days we did not need the room cleaned we were given a basket of fresh robes, towels, toothbrush sets, and razors. The hotel is a bit older, but is in fair condition and is clean. There are vending machines and laundry facilities. The nearest station is the Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. Kiyomizu-dera, Yasaka Pagoda, Yasaka Shrine, and Kodaiji are all within walking distance. The walk down to Shijo-Kawarmachi is a bit longer, but still not too far. There's a Circle K about 2 doors down I think.

Kyoto Capsule hotel

I enjoyed my stay, girlfriend and I wanted to stay in a capsul hotel but they are usually only for men, or have the men and women separated so having two capsules in a private room with bathroom was nice. All around I found it to be good value for the cost, nothing fancy about this budget friendly hotel but I would stay there again. The staff were helpful, despite the fact that we don't speak japanese, and let us leave our bags there until check in time.

Located downtown near to the best sights of Kyoto.
The bus station is half a minute walk away and take you too almost all the landmarks.
Also the hotel is a 15 min bus ride away from Kyoto station.
The managers including Mr Murukami are extremely helpful and kind.
The capsules itself is nice for a nights rest.
Great value for money.

Seven Eleven nearby in which i can withdraw JPY cash;close to bus stops ; a lot of attractive spots near by;
Staff speak poor English; If you want save money and get Ok facilities , it is a not bad choice.

A cheap & basic accomodation.

It is as expected. Relatively cheap and basic. Very clean and tidy.

I stayed here for 5 days/nights. I would recommend this place more for a night or two as its not the most comfortable (matress-wise) and it can be a little noisey as you are close to your neighbours (on one night my neighbour was a heavy snorer, which kept me up for a lot of the night).

Generally you will find this place is used for one night by Japanese business men who have missed thier last train/bus and need somewhere to sleep.

Fresh linen daily, including towel and toothbrush.

Amenity Hotel has the basics covered. We stayed in a private capsule room with private bath, and it suited our needs. Tidy, clean bedding & bathroom, close to Gion and other picturesque areas. A great value.

Amenity is Awesome

The helpful man who runs the hotel let me use the phone to coordinate tickets in Tokyo and let us use umbrellas, gave us directions and was generally great. Our private capsule room which had two bunk bed style capsules and a private bath with a shower and tub was also equipped with a nice seating area a desk a tv which was nice to not have the only place to sit be on your bed! There was a small onsen on each floor complete with toiletries and hair dryers and looked newly installed. Clean. And the best part, a view of a five-storied pagoda and a white Buddhist statue from the window. Windows open, or A/C always comfortable. We stayed for four days and had great access between the busses and subway system. A deal for sure if there is two or three people. Capsule experience but with privacy!

Will not stay at a \"Capsule\" hotel again.

Faced several issues such as bath water not hot enough, bathroom too small (shared bathroom, but not quite enough for all the rooms combined), Cubicle or \"Capsule\" small and cold, cannot control the temperature inside it. The restaurant below could not be used when I tried to have a dinner there as it was \"Kashikiri\" or fully rented out.

Hardly able to connnect to the Wifi and not entirely \"Private\" capsule.

Overall a bad Capsule Hotel experience.

Walking distance to the temples...

Just 1 min walk by taking bus 206. The hotel is on the opposite right of the bus station. The hotel is also kind enough to check-in us earlier instead of the standard check-in time. There is no proper place to store your luggage, so don’t leave anything valuable behind until you get into the room. Recommend to get a private room with attached bath room if you travel in 3 to have more privacy.

A clean place to sleep indoors, nothing more.

A capsule hotel is a large space of \"capsules\", each about the size of a large refrigerator on its side, with a mat, blanket, and pillow. It wasn't unclean, and the hotel service was fine. It's just a very small space to sleep in the company of other capsules. Location was a 20-minute walk to downtown. Was it worth 60 USD? Maybe.

Affordable but you need a bus pass

I had some trouble finding the hotel. The location is not ideal with a 30 minute walk to the nearest subway. Still there is a bus stop nearby. Other than that, the capsule itself is OK, especially if you spend all day walking around and only want to sleep. However be warned that the showers are collective, so you might find yourself with a couple of naked Japanese businessmen at the end of long day. Also, two out of three toilets are Asian style however, that is normal in Japan. The people at the reception are nice and helpful.
There are lots of temples nearby and the main shopping area is a 15 minutes walk. Right next to the hotel you'll find several small and cheap restaurants, as well as two small convenience stores. On the whole, if you are looking for a place to pass the night and don't want to pay much I would recommend this place.

安さの理由がわかりました。内装はリフォームしてありきれいでしたが、窓が遮音仕様になっていなく夜通し交通量の多い前面道路の車の音がうるさくて眠れませんでした。耳栓持参していればよかった。

宿泊料が安く心配でしたが室内も綺麗で別の階に数人入れるお風呂がありそちらも清潔にされていました
部屋にはトイレとシャワールーム、洗面台がそれぞれ別にありました
バスタオル、ハンドタオル、歯ブラシあり
成人男3人、女1人の家族でしたが、2段ベッドと和寝具2組みを敷きテーブルが置ける広さがあり、寝具も清潔でした(部屋によって違う様子改装されていて綺麗)
素泊り税込一泊1人1,000円以内で泊まれ驚きです

車は近くにパーキングが沢山あり問題なく停められました(別料金)バス停も近くにありました
大通り沿いで場所もわかりやすく、夕食は散歩しながら散策、四条通りまで歩きました
宿泊した下にも中華店がありました
清水寺など周囲は観光するところの中心でしたのでとても良かったです

グラスコップ以外にマグカップを置いていただけると有難いです。
1人でも格安な料金で4人部屋和室に泊まれたので、広々ゆったりでした。
部屋によるかもしれませんが、防音窓でないので大通りの交通音がかなり響きます。

一人旅には最高の施設

まずアクセスが最高。バス停1分、清水寺数分。
部屋の作りがおもしろいが不便はない。
ユニットバスつきトイレが部屋にあるが、共通のシャワールームや風呂場もあるため、そちらを快適に利用させてもらった。
3泊の利用だったが清掃も毎回してもらい、ホステル並みの料金で泊まることができたが、時期外れとはいえ安すぎて心配になるレベル。
また京都に一人旅することがあれば利用したい。

そこそこのスペースのある個室で、
このお値段で泊まれるのは魅力。
前回、なかなか接続出来なかったWi-Fiも
今回は不思議とつながる時間が長く助かりました。
照明の暗さとウォシュレットがないのが残念ですが、
総合的には十分評価できる
とても癒される良心的な宿泊施設です。
部屋に芳香スプレーとハンドソープのサービスがあれば
もっと嬉しいです。

個室なのにお手頃価格で大変癒されます。
今回の価格なら、毎日でも利用したい思いです。
ただほかの施設でも多いのですが、
Wi-Fiが弱いのか、夜はほとんどつながらず
朝は少しだけましになりますが、
それでも頻繁に接続カットされるのが不満です。
あと浴室利用が18時から１時とのことですが、
朝風呂が好きな私としては、朝の６時から８時あたりでも
利用可能にしてもらえると嬉しいです。

やはり個室はいいですね。
宿泊税込みでの料金がネットカフェよりも安く
とても助かります。
1月２月の限定料金のようですが、
願わくば、毎月、この程度の金額で設定してもらえると
定期的に利用したい思いです。
欲を言うなら、トイレがウォシュレットだったらいいのになぁと思います。
あと私の思い違いかもしれませんが、
前回泊まった部屋には、リセッシュのような芳香スプレーがあった気がするのですが、
今回の部屋には設置されていなかったのが残念でした。
全体的に少し薄暗い気もします。
ですが、また利用したくなる好感度の高い宿泊施設です。

チゥックインの時、戸惑いましたが、
今回は、呼び鈴が復活しており、
それよりなにより到着時、たまたま受付の方もおられたので、
良かったです。
私には、贅沢な費用ですが、
それなりの価値はある宿泊施設だと思います。
また手が届く価格になった時には、
ぜひとも利用したいです。

Near to Kyomizu Temple

We stayed one night at the room with private washroom and tatami. We had to prepare the tatami by ourselves but the room is spacious and comfortable. The best thing of this hotel is its location which is very near to Kyomizu Temple.

酒店环境还不错，但是安全隐患有点、、、第一次我们中途回来发现正在打扫客房，但是我们的门是大敞开的，里面没有人打扫。第二次我出去买东西回来，客房钥匙同伴拿走，我去前台说是否可以把东西放在前台，他并没有核实我的身份就为我打开了房门，我以为打开后我放下东西他再锁住房间，结果并没有，服务员打开房门就走了。所在楼层也没有摄像头，总之安全性很差

清潔で威圧感のないカプセルルームでした。

清水寺にとても近くて便利なホテルです。初カプセルホテルでしたが、横から入るタイプで座れる高さもあり、威圧感はなく快適でした。１階のレストランを利用する機会はありませんでしたが、食事にも困らなさそうです。

うる覚えで恐縮ですが、午前1時迄でしたら浴槽にもつかれますし、寝るだけと割り切れば十分な施設だと思います。
また清水寺をはじめ、徒歩圏内に幾つかの観光名所があり観光に便利でした

1인전용 침대칸같은게 2층으로 되어있어서(+커튼) 개별적인 느낌을 내기 좋았고, 쇼파베드가 있어서 같이 쉬기에도 적절했습니다. 객실에 냉장고가 없던 건 조금 아쉬웠어요.

值得考慮的京都住宿

雖然附近沒有地鐵，但離公車站(清水道)極近，班次也多，交通並沒有問題。住起來也算OK，應有盡有。Private房更有個人隱私，而且同樓層就有投幣洗衣機與乾衣機，非常方便

清水寺近く、寝るだけの人にはお勧め

直前に取ったので希望のホテルが空いておらず、初めて滞在しました。カプセルの割には高いと思いましたが、京都且つ旧正月連休の始めだったので仕方ないですね。ホテルはごく普通のカプセルですが、少し小さめの大風呂も有り、寝るだけならまぁ良いです。ロッカーが、独立したロッカー室ではなく、客室の中に設置されているので、真夜中に帰った人がカチャカチャと金属音が煩いのが難点。ロッカーにはタオルと共に耳栓も用意されているので、気になる人は耳栓をしてお休みになった方が良いです。清水寺が至近、周囲に飲食店も多くあって困りません。

良いカプセルホテルで不満無し

二回目の利用でした。
カプセルホテルに必要なものは一通り揃っていて不満はまったくない。
共用スペースも狭苦しい感じはなく使いやすい。
フロントの方の対応もとても親切だった。
施設全体が古いが不潔、不快に感じることはない。
価格を考えると大満足で、また利用したいと思う。
