Nice hotel in Stade. Staff and breakfast was wonderful. My only complaint is the size of the blanket. Too small for 1 person. Not sure if that is a local thing, I stayed in other hotels in Germany with normal size blankets. Blanket is nit even the size of the bed.

Good hotel

Ticks all my boxes, clean, quiet, has parking and I get a good night sleep. Is next to a clock tower that usually chimes every 15 minutes but sensibly they have switched the chimes off between 11.30pm and 7am. Underground parking is a bonus and Stade itself has a great market square about 10 minutes walk where in the evening there is a great selection of bars and places to eat, and while we were eating there was some great free music being played in the street opposite where we sat. And also if you are planning on visiting Hamburg its an hour on the S-Bahn and the station is only 6 minutes walk away.

Wrong booking

We had a warm welcome at the reception desk, but our booking was not available. The 2 rooms were booked for December 2013 instead of October! The hotel was fully occupied but the staff managed to get 2 rooms for us at a lower rated sister hotel approx 1/2 mile away. A rating of the amenities, the cleanliness, the comfort and the value is consecutively not possible. At the second hotel we had to pay our rooms, even so a pre payment by Credit Card was initially done. All together a very dissatifying experience! Regards Dr Wilczek

Dejligt sted, lidt svær at finde, da hotellet lå inde i en gård. Godt nok med navn ude på muren ude ved gaden, hvis man kiggede højt nok.
Ikke velegnet til gangbesværede, godt nok elevator men inden man var ved receptionen var der lig fire trin der skulle overstås. Lidt for mange niveauforskelle.

Morgenbuffeten fin fin. Skønt med morgenbrød som ikke havde fået for hård varme. Går her ud fra at det var bake off, som det er i de fleste hoteller eftehånden. Men alt i alt var morgenmaden fyldig med næsten alt, hvad man ønsker.

Besonders hat mir die Atmosphäre und das sehr nette Personal gefallen. Wünschen würde ich mir ein abwechslungsreicheres Frühstück. Soll heißen: das Buffet ist reichhaltig, aber leider jeden Tag dasselbe. Vielleicht lässt sich in der Richtung etwas machen. Aber grundsätzlich hat es mir in diesem Hotel sehr gut gefallen!!

Övernattning i samband med bilresa i Europa

Stannade bara en natt i samband med övernattning. Enkelt med parkering precis utanför hotellet, fint rum med en bra säng. Helt ok frukost med det mesta man behöver. Hann bara gå en snabb runda i city, men det verkar vara en trevlig liten stad. Finns ett antal restauranger inom 5-10 minuters gångavstånd. Kan definitivt tänka mig att komma tillbaka när det är bättre väder.

Dejlig by og hotel at besøge

Hotellet ligger perfekt midt i den hyggelige by Stade. Vi har nu været der 3 gange gennem de seneste 7 år og kan kun anbefale byen og hotellet til et hyggeligt og afslappet ophold i dejlige omgivelser. Sehr schönes Hotel, obwohl mitten in der Stadt ruhig gelegen. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Reichlichen Frühstücksbuffet.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof und frühmorgens hörte man leider andere (dort rauchende) Gäste mit ihren Gesprächen. Lediglich die Parksituation wäre verbesserungswürdig.

Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt in Ordnung aber dennoch enttäuschend. Das Bad müffelte und war nicht mehr in gutem Zustand. Die Lampe im Zimmer im Hotelzimmer war kaputt und das Frühstück war ebenfalls enttäuschend, 3 billig Brötchen für zwei Personen, obwohl das Frühstück auch noch extra gekostet hat. Die Lampe im Flur flackerte in der Nacht. Es kam alles etwas altmodisch rüber.

Det mesta var ok men receptionen var konstant underbemannad. Det tog oss över 30 minuter att checka in, trots att det bara var två andra familjer före oss. Vi såg samma elände upprepas flera gånger då vi passerade receptionen. Likaså var det väldigt lång väntan att bli tilldelade ett bord i frukostmatsalen, trots att vi kom 5-10 minuter före bokad frukosttid (schema som tilldelades). Personalen sprang konstant och hade för många arbetsuppgifter

Zimmerreinigung leider mangelhaft.
Leere Flaschen und Gläser wurden nach der Reinigung einfach im Zimmer stehen gelassen. Betten wurden nur halbherzig gemacht.
Zimmersafe funktionierte aufgrund leerer Batterien nicht, ebenso Fernbedienung vom TV leer gewesen

Zentral gelegen, direkt an der Fußgängerzone der Stader Innenstadt, macht das Hotel auch optisch einen guten Eindruck. Die Damen am Empfang sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ebenso im Frühstücksbereich. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und nicht verwohnt. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!
