Unfortunately I had to find another hotel.
We did call with my colleague to the hotel if there will be the restaurant opened after our arrival around 22:00. We were told that restaurant is already closed (21:00) so we announced that will have dinner on the way and will arrive around 23:00. We received info that after 22 hotel will be closed. We should call sister hotel to get code to enter the hotel and get room key.
Unfortunately after arrival (22:45) we spent 15 mins of trying to call the sister hotel - unfortunately always answering machine. Then we decided to find another hotel!

Great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. All the staff spoke English and provided me with free cups of tea when I pointed out there was no kettle in the room. They sorted out my key for a late night arrival and also let me stay in their lounge and do some work after I'd checked out. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Location is great - backs onto the park, about 20 minuets walk from the Old Town. Would stay again next time I'm in Luneberg on business.

A real \"find\"!
This is a great little residential hotel very close to the University. (Three blocks away.) The staff is friendly, the rooms are large and comfortable, the wireless is terrific and it is very convenient by bus or 20 minute walk to the center of town (old town). I strongly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. My two stays there have been a pleasure and memorable!

What a very pleasant surprise!
A quaint, small, quiet and comfortable hotel. Not sure what to expect, we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The room was large and bright and the facilities were more than adequate for our needs. The FREE internet was blazingly fast and easy to use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but particularly those visiting students at Leuphana University as it is right on the edge of the campus. It is easily accessible to the old town -- 15 minute walk or easy direct bus ride. Oh, and did I mention friendly staff? Would I stay at this hotel again? You bet!

Laut Internet sollte das Restaurant \"Schnecke\" saisonale und regionalte Speisen anbieten. Leider ist das Restaurant schon seit 1.7.2025 geschlossen. Wegen des Restaurants hatte ich gebucht. Es sollte doch möglich sein, innerhalb von fast 2 Monaten (ohne Vorlaufzeit - man schließt das Restaurant nicht von einem Tag auf den anderen)den Internetauftritt zu berichtigen. Auch die Hotellobby war ab 21 Uhr geschlossen - man konnte nicht noch an der Bar was bestellen

Vi kunne enten lade hunden være alene på værelset eller spise hver for sig. Det endte med at vi listede os ned til morgenmaden sammen med hunden, som var i en taske.
Værelset var trist. Vi skulle have 5 overnatning, men det bar værelset ikke præg af. Udsigten var at se ind i en hvid mur. Rengøringen var gjort med venstre hånd. Flere dage blev skraldespanden ikke tømt. Der blev ikke fyldt op med kaffekapsler, sengetøjet var hullet. På badeværelset sad toiletrulleholderen løs og makeup-spejlet var også løst.

Clean and nice hotel in the outskirts of Luneburg. Very nice staff in the reception and in the breakfast restaurant in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The breakfast staff baked the best gluten free bread I have had for me for breakfast! Highly recommended.

Das Hotel ist schön, ordentlich sauber und die Angestellten sehr freundlich ubd hilfsbereit. Am Ende wartete aber leider eine bose Überraschung in Form einer vorher nicht angekündigten \"Energiepauschale\" die einfach dem vereinbarten und gebuchten Preis zugeschlagen wurde.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am wunderschönen Park! In 30 Minuten ist man in der Innenstadt von Lüneburg (das ist dann ein sehr gemütlicher Spaziergang) ! Lüneburg ist auch mehrfach eine Reise wert! Die MitarbeiterInnen des Hotels sind sehr freundlich! Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls gut! Hier kann man auch gern wiederkommen.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel,ruhig gelegen in einem Wohngebiet.Das Zentrum von Lüneburg ist fußläufig in 15 min erreichbar.Die Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und die Tiefgarage sind knapp,jedoch kann man sehr gut gegenüber auf dem dem Parkplatz/Stadthalle/Mehrzweckhalle parken.

Die Gaststätte im Hotel hast Sonntags ab 18:00 Uhr geschlossen, zur Innenstadt mit seinen Gaststätten war es ca. 2km zu Fuß. Die Minibar im Zimmer war nicht gefüllt, trotz gegenteiliger Auskunft des Besitzers. Das Frühstück war dürftig.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Kurpark,das Personal war sehr Freundlich.Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war gut,obwohl einge Staubflöcken im Bettbereich waren.Im Redtaurant wo wir auch unser Frühstück einnahmen war die Sauberkeit nicht so gut,schmutzige Fensterbtetter(innen),Spinnengewebe an den Lampen .Beim letzten Frühstück gab es um 07:30 kein Brot mehr.

Hier gibt es einige Probleme: Ankunft-vorbeigeahren, da schlechr/gar nicht ausgeschildert. Zufahrt Tiefgarage nicht ohne suchen zu finden. Mehrere Angebote Restaurant nicht erhältlich, obwohl auf Tafel herausgestellt. Essen nicht in Ruhe möglich, da sehr lautstarken Gästen an der Bar vom Personal kein Einhalt gefordert wurde. Das Schlimmste: Die ausgestellte (!) Heizung zischte die ganze Nacht. Beim Frühstück u.a. keine Spiegeleier erhältlich. Rezeption beim check-out zunächst nicht besetzt. Kein leitender Mitarbeiter zum Vorbringen dieser begründeten Beschwerden verfügbar!!

Sehr schöne Zimmer, ein schönes Hotel. Aber bei Außentemperaturen von 30 Grad waren die Zimmer sehr aufgeheizt so daß man Nachts nicht schlafen konnte. Am nächsten Morgen bot uns die Reinigungskraft ein Klimagerät an welches wir dankend annahmen. Leider bot uns niemand von der Rezeption diesen Service an. Aber über kurz oder lang muß sich das Hotel Gedanken machen und die Zimmer, Restaurants und Flure, sprich: das gesamte Hotel mit Klimaanlagen ausstatten. Wir würden in diesem Hotel erst wieder buchen wenn es mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet ist.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber zeitweise überfordert. Zum Frühstück waren ein paar mehr Tische besetzt und schon gab es längere Wartezeiten welche man eigentlich nicht nachvollziehen konnte.

Im Frühstücksbereich und an der Bar ist alles kostenpflichtig zu erhalten - naja, wahrscheinlich wird durch die Bezahlung das Virus aufgehalten 🙃

In dieses rundum angenehme Hotel mit freundlicher Atmosphäre würde ich jederzeit gerne zurückkehren. Mein Zimmer war recht großzügig bemessen, sehr gut ausgestattet und in bestem Zustand. Schade nur, dass die Einzelzimmer, anders als vor der Renovierung, offenbar alle nicht mehr zum Kurpark hin ausgerichtet sind. Am Frühstück ist nicht nur die Vielfalt, sondern auch die Qualität positiv hervorzuheben. Allerdings könnte für Vegetarier etwas mehr geboten sein.
