Property was wonderful - was hoping for a heated pool, but no, so no swimming. Staff and our room were great. The only thing that could use some attention are the bathrooms/showers in the lobby and there wasn’t a secure room to store luggage after checkout.

The so called luxury villa was nothing of the sort! It was dark and depressing and lacking basic amenities such as a kettle or plugs in the right places. It was very dated and run down. some attempt had been made to improve the dacor but the bathroom fittings were pitted and dated. The hotel did offer another room but it was much the same so we decided to put up with it. The staff were polite but not exactly friendly, except for the cleaning teams who were lovely, bright and cheerful and kept the room imaculately clean. The food was really quite dull. There was always a good cold buffet but the cooked meals were clearly designed to keep warm. It was also erratic. One day there was both sea bass and bream - beautifully cooked. The next day there was no fish and burgers seemed to be the main offereing. The food was of good quality but it felt like a works canteen rather than a hotel restaurant. The Gardens were lovely and the beach was pleasant.

Clean but shower did not drain and backed up into entire bathroom and started to run into room. Called to let them know about problem but not sure they understood drain issue. Cleaned the room up and brought all new towels. But it did it again the next morning when my husband showered. Check out was at 10 am so u could not shower.

Relaxed atmosphere throughout the property, spotlessly clean and even have shower rooms for you when you have vacated your room on departure day. Fantastic buffet breakfast. The only downside is people reserving beds by the pool for hours without using them. The beach is to the rear of the property however the beds are expensive and should be included in your stay price.

Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati al Grand President Hotel di Siderno, abbiamo capito di essere in un posto speciale. Ciò che ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero indimenticabile non è stato solo il panorama stupendo, ma soprattutto il personale straordinario che ogni giorno ha fatto di tutto per noi.

Francesco e Antonio, i due ragazzi giovani al bar, sono stati una vera gioia: sempre cordiali, attenti e pieni di energia. Manuela è stata eccezionale, sempre pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza con grande disponibilità e cuore.

La nostra cameriera, Jovanna, è stata fantastica. La stanza era sempre impeccabile – gentile, premurosa e davvero perfetta. Alla reception, Antonio è stato molto professionale e calmo, mentre Domenico ha reso semplice l’estensione del soggiorno. Nadia è stata preziosa, sempre pronta ad aiutarci con efficienza e sorriso.

Impossibile non menzionare Giuseppe e Roberto – due veri gioielli. Giuseppe è stato paziente, disponibile e gentilissimo. E Roberto ci ha fatto ridere ogni giorno, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.

Il Grand President non è solo un hotel: è un luogo accogliente, dove le persone ci mettono davvero il cuore. Grazie a tutto lo staff per un’esperienza indimenticabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

Love the hotel and all of the amenities, activities, and food choices offered. The private beach was perfect and with the restaurants, bars, and pools one wouldn’t have to leave to hotel if they did not want to. My one dissatisfaction is the service overall was very slow - everything from questions to check in was a 15-20min process. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this to friends and family!

Very large hotel with nice beach (need water shoes) and two pools. The pools were lovely, we enjoyed swimming in the large one.

Good hotel but the signs and rules irritated me a bit. Signs saying things like you must wear a swim hat in the pool - nobody did fortunately but still signs with lists of rules. Also you booked your beach loungers at 8:30 if you wanted a free one (most had a charge!) and no way to give it back, so despite beach often empty, we had to sit at the back or conform to the 8:30 queues. There should be a method to say when they can be reallocated.

I didn’t like paying for beach towels (only 2e each) or to book the ‘better’ beach loungers. Expensive to get the level with proper uv protection umbrellas as opposed to quaint woven holey ones. Water beautifully clear and plenty of life guards. Hiring paddle boards was fun.

Breakfast buffet great. But again rules - you had to go to the location allocated to your room and have a card scanned per person - one per group not enough.

Quite a long walk or short drive from Naxos harbour/main beaches, but restaurants and shops nearby.

Room average, cleaning good.

Overall happy with the hotel despite it feeling impersonal and not luxurious. A good basic family hotel with good facilities on a nice steeply shelved beach (stones into the water and drops off fast).

Our son is 14 so we didn’t need kids clubs etc but they looked good. I miss going to the kids disco :(

Overall the property was ok. We had a big problem with ants in our room which was very unfortunate. They did offer to clean and spray the room but that did not help The town of Giardini Naxos where this hotel is located does not have much going on and is quite a walk to get to the marina area. What we did like was the pool and beach area. Just wonderful! The breakfast was mediocre. If I returned to this area I would have chosen somewhere else.

I would never recommend Naxos area and that hotel

We saw cockroaches and the hotel manger laughing offered a room with a shower so small I couldn’t fit in it and more cockroaches .That area in Sicily isn’t a good area for a family we had actual had armed guards at the entrance . We left this property after 2 nights . I had to beg the manager at the Taromina grand excelsior for a room for my family . I asked the hotel for a refund for the 3 nights the hotel manager said it’s up to your company and took no responsibility. My family was happy to leave Una hotel. BYW my wife and I have thousands of followers on X, Facebook and instagram

I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism.

I found this hotel slightly underwhelming. Bit tired in places. Breakfast was pretty awful - for a hotel of this ‘calibre’ it could and should have been SO much better. Bed was way too firm - unpleasantly so. And just the little things annoyed me - having to pay €2 for a towel to use at the pool/beach. And from 7th June, access to the beach (owned by hotel) will be chargeable. On the plus side, the grounds are well maintained and it’s a nice spot on the coast. Plenty of local restaurants to sample too.

I wish they stated online that you did not have access to the beach and only one restaurant was open. Very disappointing to not be able to lay out and read on a sunny spring day. Only one dinner option at night and you had to pay for a buffet or have nothing. The staff here at the bar by the pool and in the center patio area (Rita and the guys) were SO KIND and accommodating!

Thanks again. The staff are brilliant as always. I believe Santo has taught his apprentice a little too well at making cocktails. Very comfortable rooms. The biting bugs seem to come from the sofas rather than the beds and using local soap etc appears to help. Maybe keep Claudio on a leash 🙄🤣. Davide and Veronica and Sandra and Vanessa and Giuseppe and Carmelo are all great too. See you all soon ❤️ oh just a warning water in pool and sea a little cold. Don't be ripped off with Go See buses. Just up the road the interbus is cheaper and more frequent.

The room is very comfortable with access to a private patio. Bathroom is not updated but works, we had issues with the shower and the AC but the maintenance was sent immediately to repair it. The front desk staff is friendly and the check in process is fast. They have free parking on the premises, and a buffet restaurant where you pay $30/person and you can it all what you want with delicious of plates and huge variety of desserts. You won't be disappointed if you want to be close to Taormina, visit the Etna or Siracusa.

Lovely hotel, good choice of restaurants, comfortable beds by the pool, large private beach with sunbeds included for guests. Walking distance to Giardini-Naxos and just a 10 minute walk from Recanati bus station where there are frequent buses to Taormina and Catania Airport. Only minor negatives were the paper cups in the room and the shower gel was not replenished when it ran out. Also, on the last day, the showers were quite a distance from the luggage room. But otherwise a very good stay, well worth the price for the location.

The staff were very friendly and our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. We stayed in a bungalow which was soundproof. All amenities on the hotel resort were walkable and the food was adequate and plentiful. There was a choice of 4 restaurants and 3 pools. There was always someone available to answer any questions. The hotel provided a shuttle bus to Taormina and the resort was walkable and quaint. The lounge bar in the evening was a lovely place to chill with a saxophone player. We would definitely return!

Overall, for a property that was priced at $450 a night, we were disappointed. We were a family of 3 (daughter, 12 years old). Want a towel for the pool or beach? A few Euros. Want a place on the beach? 30 Euros or better...per person. The property is a compound whose best years were probably in the past. We enjoyed eating on the property for a BBQ. On certain nights, the self contained amphitheater provided live entertainment. The Olympic sized pool is nice but again, make sure you speak to the concierge in the lobby to book a spot. And the reason, aside from the proffering of a la carte upcharges? You wind up getting pitched for timeshares. This is the first time we had a poor experience with an UNA property. There are better alternatives.

The room was lovely, as was the patio area by our room. The hotel had a good kids' play area and little pond with terapins which our our 9 and 7 year old loved. The pool area was great; there were always sun beds available and a children and adult pool to choose from. There was also great entertainment! The square with shops, bar and restaurants was lovely and useful for buying toys and snacks. The beach area and restaurants were also nice. The buffet breakfast was amazing and catered for all our family needs (from cooked to continental to pastries to oat milk for our kids). The only negatives were the selection of options for vegetarians for lunch and dinner in the bar and restaurants (this was somewhat limited although pizza was available) and pricing (this was quite high but in line with prices in Taormina which were also quite high compared to other areas in Italy). All in all it was a great stay. I would return to the hitel and recommend it!

The resort is well equipped with friendly staff . The evening show is well organized and entertaining . However, even tho the room we booked says it is a villa, it is actually a very small room for less than 300sq ft. We have 2 adult and 1 three year old . The room is quite small . We stay there mostly for nap and sleep. The bathroom need upgrade to make to 4 star standard .

The beds were very comfy. The shutters and curtains gave good blackout and we slept well.

Very nice resort property. Stayed last week for a couple of days- shoulder season. Staff friendly, courteous. Had breakfast and dinner twice at the property, variety of tasty options, enough to cover different dietary preferences. Parking available. Nice pebbly beach. Rooms are updated, modern and spacious, only issue is the bathrooms. In all three rooms we booked they were original (from 20yrs ago), aging poorly with shower drainage issues. Close to the highway if you drive, but the Lidl grocery store is 15mins away by car if you need anything more for your kids etc.. Altogether a nice stay, property was not full at time of our stay, so very quiet, modern and spacious rooms, but place shows age in bathrooms, hallway carpets and some decor. I would stay again.

So the resort was great. It is definitely a resort, not just a hotel.

Location: it's a 25 minute drive to Taormina, where the great restaurants and shops are. We found a parking lot and parked every day for 6 euros until midnight. Staying in Taormina with a car is a non-starter. I don't know if the hotel has a shuttle into town. The town of Naxos also has dining that is walkable from the hotel.

Hotel: There was live music every day. Free parking. Tennis courts and pools. Multiple bars and restaurants. It was a lively place, though it skews older and attracts the tour bus set. There is an attached beach with hundreds of loungers that can be reserved (or sat on until the reservers come). The downside is that it is a pebble beach, not a sand beach. So no walking without sandals. The grounds are gorgeous. It feels like the Caribbean with all of the palm trees. The hotel is on the way to Catania (do not stay in Catania if you can help it, ESPECIALLY with a car. It's a slum and I've never seen such awful driving) and Syracuse if you want to do day trips like we did. Tolls between Naxos and Catania are under 2 euros.

The room was comfy, but they use those dual single beds to create a queen and I fell in-between them once. I don't know how these still exist. The place is very clean.

I definitely recommend the Unahotel Naxos. And when I return to the region, as I am sure to do, I would make it a point to try to stay here again.

So much fun at Una Hotel!

Nice large resort located on the beach with two pools and a beach club. while we didn't use the pool, we did use the beach club all day and loved it.!
very friendly service and great location will definitely stay again if in the area. For the value this was an excellent stay. It also has entertainment, so it feels like a cruise ship a little bit.

Bathrooms need a renovation desperately. Grounds were nice, pools were lovely. Beach was just ok - no sand, just stones and shells. Charging for beach chairs and umbrellas on top of day rate is in poor taste. Hotel is fairly far from Taormina. Had I known exactly how far, I would have booked elsewhere. My kids enjoyed it, however, because of the pool and the grounds. Next time, I'd book in the center of town in Taormina to avoid all of the back and forth to dinner/shopping/sightseeing. (We had no plans to do any of those in Giardini Naxos, so staying here was kind of a waste for us.)

Room cleaning repeatedly brought only 2 towels for 3 persons, which was annoying. Options for heated food in the standard restaurant (evening) were very limited, especially for young kids.

Perfect Break

Really lovely Hotel and staff. Plenty of excursions on offer and options of a quieter beach or busier pool for sun and sea. We were half board and the restaurant service was wonderful. Run like a well oiled machine a thank you must go to Nunzio P who looked after my daughter and me so well. Would definitely recommend. We did the helicopter flight over Etna with Helijet which is located next door so very convenient for that too.

Nice hotel, good location, close to the beach

We stayed for 3 nights in early May, the hotel is very clean and offers many facilities. The food is good, the pool area is very nice as is the access to the beach. Sunbeds get uncomfortable after a while as they have no padding.
The room is nice and ours had views of Etna to one side and the sea to the other, only grey area is the bathroom was dated and could do with a refit.

I will never stay here again… the service is generally slow but also the resort lacks proper signage and communication is horrible. On our checkout day we called the front desk at 9:10 to ask if a cart can pick us up to bring our bags to reception as our room was very far, our taxi to the airport was scheduled at 9:30. At 9:30 no carts arrived we called again requesting that the cart be sent to us. At 9:45 we called again and still no carts were sent to us. My friend and i with our loads of bags decided to take the long walk to check out and during our walk to reception still no sight of carts heading to our area. When raised to the manager at the reception area he cared less to even give an explanation or make the situation light as we’ve now lost our taxi to go to the airport which is 50 minutes away and had to rebook one for ourselves. Really poor experience and i don’t recommend this hotel to anyone that cares about basic hospitality.

Very nice hotel with helpful, friendly staff. First week of the season so a number of the facilities (we would’ve really appreciated a snack bar) were not open. Overall we had a great holiday. The immediate surrounding area is a bit shabby but perhaps not surprising after a couple of tough years!

Had a great time at this nice tourist class hotel with a nice children/family pool area. The breakfast only varied a bit in the selection of sweets, while the dinner was a bit more varied although the choices was rather limited to 2-3 pasta dishes, a rice dish and perhaps a soup or similar for kids, while there was usually 1-2 rather anonymous meat dishes, a fish dish and some sides. The dessert buffet was the most varied and interesting part of dinner with several very tasty options most nights. Also, we wasted a lot of food waste every night as everything was served due to corona and the staff did not understand \"little\" or \"taste\", so every time we wanted to taste something, we got a big portion.
Stayed in an executive twin room with 2 kids (+1 adult) with an extra single sofabed and the view from the small balcony was really great as we had a really nice view of Etna from there (from 4th floor). Only downside was the very loud music/entertainment every evening that started right around bedtime for the kids and lasted until very late.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. Especially the breakfast staff, reception and kids club team. The hotel had good Covid regulations in place including temperature checks on entry and in reception, sanitiser everywhere, use of face masks, markings and everywhere was kept very clean eg between use of sun beds.
I loved the fact the kids had their own room in the apartment and the air conditioning in the room was brilliant and decor was modern (although the bathrooms could maybe do with updating at some
point).

There was some evening entertainment which was great considering the restrictions in place they had to adhere to. The hotel is a short walk from several great restaurants. I would definitely return or consider another Una hotel, the one in Toarmina looked great too.

Good location of the hotel. Nice beach next to the hotel and great pools, but the beach could be open longer.
Really tasty and good breakfast every day.
Nice views and friendly and helpful hotel stuff.
Shower was not that good, because of the pressure of water. The water was almost not coming so that was a bit annoying and not good for us.
