The hotel was clean and the price for food and drinks were affordable. Bar staff always friendly when walking by. Room older but clean and meet our needs. Windows dirty would be only negative as lake view with dirty windows but not a deal breaker. Staff handled an issue great which was nice to see as another guest. Great trails right from hotel to explore!

The room and staff were excellent. But there are no restaurants, just snack bars. No working ice machines. And you can only get 2 tiny bags of ice from the front desk per day. So don't invite people to your room for a beverage.

Very nice staff. I liked the snacks at the bar and each little casino had peanuts chocolate and candy in little bowls for every walk, which was cool. Not many options for food. Hotel is older school not too fancy but pretty cool. Would stay there again. just wish it was a little less smoky.

If you’re hungry there was about 4 different places to choose from some had better seating than others. Not restaurant style. Clerks at registration desk were friendly and gave us information regarding the area ( we’re first timers to town) and railroad trails. Peaceful would go back .

We stayed here a couple of years ago but it has definitely gone down. Both restaurants are closed only casino food which was ok. Short staffed - only one person working to manage desk and cook. Room was spacious but limited outlets for my husband's cpap. No coffee maker - no ice makers had to get bags from front desk but refrigerator did not have a freezer so didn't help

The room was dark it felt like a dungeon and very outdated the mirror was dirty and splatters of something on the bathroom door. there wasn't any water fill or ice machine.The casino part was nice, clean and updated. For the price it wasn't worth it. I won't stay here again.
They also say they are dog friendly they really aren't!

The lobby was beautiful! The rooms were VERY outdated with dingy carpet and furniture. The linens appeared clean and fresh. The electrical outlets were hidden and sparse. When we plugged in our devices the sockets were very loose. The place is gorgeous, but the rooms desperately need an update.

If you want lodging that reflects local culture - as opposed to cookie-cutter corporate comfort - I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas are clean. There’s a charming general store in the huge downstairs common area, and the outdoor views (which we also enjoyed from our room window) are absolutely GORGEOUS. It’s located in a quiet, low-traffic area, less than 10 minutes from Hoover Dam and less than 40 minutes from Vegas. I enjoyed my 3-night stay so much, I was truly sad when the time came to leave.

The main floor area including gaming hotel registration and bar is truly unique and kinda awesome. They have no normal restaurant but instead have food options in each of the themed gaming areas and at the General Store. Lunch/dinner options were fine, but breakfast was very poor. The big negative were the guest rooms. Althythey were clean and the beds were comfortable, rooms below the 11th floor and very very dated with little furniture and in extreme need of refurbishment. Upon checkout, hotel cleark told us that rooms above the 10th floor had been refurbished so always book those. She noted their was no plans to finish the refurbishment of the lower floors. All considering, I would try this place again as long as I was ensured of a room above the tenth fool.

Had a love seat next to the bed instead of a bedside table, the table was on the other side of the loveseat by the window. Nowhere to set your terrible coffee.

It was the middle of April and the pool still wasn’t open. They said they were waiting on permits, but the site advertised that the pool would be open starting April 1. That would’ve made the whole trip more wonderful but other than that everything was great.

As we checked in at 1:30am - there was a note on the front desk - BE BACK SOON.
ALL ID HOUSEKEEPING CALLED OUT SICK
THE ONLY ICE you could get was in the lobby at the front desk. On small zip lock per room.
It was fine - older than expedited . Probably wouldn’t recommend. Surprisingly it cost more than the Thunderbird. Parking was a pain. Just speaking the truth. Thank you for accommodating us. Thank you ☺️

Large clean neatly decorated room. Hotel has many amenities and very reasonable pricing. My daughter did use the laundry facilities and the fitness center which both exceeded her expectancy. Also the free parking is nice after paying parking in Vegas at the beginning of our trip. It’s much more convenient, comfortable and relaxed. We actually added two extra days to our stay:)

I wanted to find a manager to compliment them, the ladies at the front desk, the bartenders and the wonderful ladies at the gift shop, everyone treated us like we were their good friends, I’d come back foe the staff alone! The bed was soooo comfortable, especially after a long hike, and the rooms are huge!

The location of this hotel to Hoover Dam was great. Although we’re not gamblers, this was a casino with plenty of games. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but our low rating comes from the fact that upon arrival, we found out the pool wasn’t working. Now normally this isn’t a deal breaker, however we specifically chose this place because after a long day of hiking Zion and the fire rocks, we wanted to relax by the pool on a 85 degree day. We’re also from the chilly northeast, and this was something we were longing to do. The check in staff seemed to offer no apologies,no discounts, and no excuses. We literally got a blank stare from her. Had we known earlier, we surely would have chosen another place to stay.
On a side note, although the room was spacious, the shower drain had a nice wad of someone else’s hair (Little things like that should never happen). My advice, always check the hotel prior to check in to be sure all the amenities you want are in working order, because this hotel definitely isn’t going to tell you.

This is a great hotel for 1 night with a dog! Room was nice, bed was comfortable! This was our 4th time staying here. We stay here after landing in Vegas on our way to see snowbirding parents in Lake Havasu AZ. Plenty of food options inside casino and just enough casino games to satisfy your gambling bug! They’re generous with the drinks if you’re playing at the bar! Boulder City is 7 minutes away for more food and entertainment options. The Hoover Dam is 10 minutes away! We’ll be back!

First impression, rude front desk. Management is a young girl who has a nasty attitude, isn't welcoming and I didn't see her smile once in the two days I was there.

Has fridge and microwave. No coffee pot, no cable or movies, no jacuzzi, dirty room, dirty floors, poop? on wall by toilet, makeup on mirror. Comfy bed, no fitted sheet, lumpy pillows.No views if you have pets you can't stay in the tower rooms. They do allow pet but in rooms near the front desk.

Seems they don't like you to receive Walmart or door dash delivery here. They get upset and call you to come get it from the front. It was awkward and the girl seemed to be reporting it to her manager. Telling them the driver was parked in front and she just thought they should know. Uuuum ok. Sorry I ordered snacks.

Nice walking trails with nice views and benches to sit on. Morning walks was my favorite part of the stay.

Careful of the prices in general store the items are tagged wrong.

Coffee in store is good and you get a voucher for a small for each day. It's dangerously hot so grab napkins or you won't make it to you room with it.

Has potential and wasn't the worst but was a bit disappointing and unwelcoming.

The staff were friendly and nice, there was a lot of stuff to do in the casino if you were of age. Overall, was a pretty good experience and my hotel room was clean. The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact that the pool wasn’t open, I really only bought that room because of the pool and it wasn’t clearly stated that it wasn’t open. I actually had to go dig for the information. For somewhere that’s hot all the time, i’m surprised it’s seasonal. Overall, good experience though

The fella that checks me out in the morning has been great. I am not much of a casino person but there are plenty of other things that are close.

As a one night stop for visiting the Hoover Dam this place was great. Areas of it look a little tired but everything worked and was clean. One word of warning - yes it is a casino but we weren’t expecting it to be there immediately when we walked through the door. We had our 8 year old with us and live in a state with no indoor smoking, the presence of a casino bar with people smoking right by the entrance was quite a shock.

Top advice head to Boulder City Fox Smokehouse for food.

We needed a hotel within 30 minutes of the Vegas airport. Location was good. We could see Lake Mead from our window. It was a terrible hotel for kids. The pool was closed. The kids could not go into the restaurants because they are classified as casino. We ended up in the General Store eating reheated chicken tenders and burgers. The WiFi was also terrible. It served our needs but it wasn’t a great experience.

The Railroad Trail was just down the hill from the parking lot. The trail provided amazing views, and a wealth of information about the area and the construction of Hoover Dam. Although a little dated, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

I don't recommend if you don't smoke. I really wanted to have this lake view so I took the risk and although the employees were so kind the facility is too smokey like they need a better filter. My mucus was black from second hand alone. It looks cool but not practical for my family. Also there was a difficultly finding change to use the laundry machines that ultimately damaged my clothing. It was ok.
