On the doorstep of the Hoover Dam trailhead, 35 minutes away from downtown Vegas. The Hoover Dam Lodge was very welcoming.
Treat yourself to historic downtown Boulder 10 minutes away with shops & the Coffee Cop Cafe. Boulder Creek golf course, an excellent play also close. Hike, golf, fish, hit the casinos. All close with no resort fee.

We stayed here as it was the closest to the Black Canyon Float trip. The facility was clean and served our needs. No coffee in the room but ready downstairs. I would return for the friendly staff!

I love the location and scenery. I was supposed to have a lake view room but didn't get it. Our room was huge, but the furniture was dated and the a/c unit was super loud. The people working the shoos were great and loved getting to know them. Our room was only cleaned and towels refreshed once in the week we were there but we didn't ask for more as we were in and out. With a little more attention to detail this place would truly be the diamond in the rough!

All the staff we encountered were great. The room was sparse but spacious, clean but very dated and kind of beat up. Beds were comfy. If you're looking for a decent meal within the casino, you're out of luck, snack bar type food and as one employee put it, \"prepackaged microwaved crap\" - but plenty of choices in Boulder City, just 10 minutes away.

Sink faucet was leaking and fridge wasn’t plugged in and was loud when we did plug it in. Room had weird smell. We asked if we could switch rooms but were told they were sold out yet there was only like 5 people in casino and parking lot was not full. They said they would send someone up to look at the issues. We waited about 20-30 minutes then had to leave for a show and no one came and it didn’t appear like anyone came while we were out. The room is spacious but older. Did seem ok overall but nothing great. The bed has three flat sheets. There was no fitted sheet at all. Just two flat sheets a blanket and then another flat sheet as cover. It’s too bad they don’t try and update it as it has potential and the general store has great prices although the food there is average.

Hotel smelled of smoke. Felt like we were in the 70s again. Old, needs updating unless that’s the vibe you are going for. But not booked and the restaurants were empty and food not great. That being said the staff seemed to be dealing with all this very well and really compensated for the hotel drawback. It’s your staff that make this place Humm and should be celebrated!

Terrible stay. I was there for about an hour and a half sitting at the desk doing my paperwork on my computer when from the mirror, I saw something black moving on the bed. A relatively large bug was moving across the bed.
I went downstairs and immediately asked for a refund/checkout. After everything was said and done, they only refunded me for one night out of the two even though I only stayed there about an hour and a half. Don’t use Expedia. Don’t go to this hotel. They do not give proper refunds based on situations.

Staff was nice. Lodge is very outdated. The Bighorn Cafe which was so good and had great choice of food is no longer in the hotel. That was disappointing. Even if you were just sitting up at the bar and don't gamble they won't serve you another drink until 30 minutes later. Not very busy so it was quiet. Great location to the dam. Great view out your bedroom window.

The hotel has a lot of accomodations. The rooms were large. Ok but a bit dated. My main complaint is that the entire hotel stinks of cigarettes. It’s disgusting. The restaurant has limited food selections. Location wise this worked well for my business but I wouldn’t deal with the second hand smoke again

The room was clean. The internet was terrible. The cable tv was not good. All the ice machines were down. There amenities in the room were scarce. No coffee, no water, etc. The front desk provided bags of ice if you asked. Only one elevator worked. The credit card machines did not work. This is a beautiful casino and resort but it would seem they are unable to keep up with repairs and new expenses.

The stay was great. Have stayed there many times. Rooms are nice. Usually a small refrigerator in the rooms, and this visit there was a small microwave. Dining is a bit of an obstacle. There used to be one of the best restaurants around in the hotel, but COVID killed it. Lots of different menus in the different theme type small casinos inside the hotel. We still like staying there as compared to downtown Vegas.
