The building itself and the main thoroughfare it was near were fine; in fact, if I have a chance to return to their main street to look at the shops and restaurants, I will. The woman at the front desk at my check-in had no personality but was courteous enough. The soap dispenser in my shower either didn't have soap, or the dispenser wasn't working properly, which made showering a problem. The museum about the building of the dam was neat, and the self-guided tour throughout the town was very informative.

The outstanding element of my stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel was the beautiful vintage character of the hotel itself. It evoked feelings of a bygone era. It was super central to everything in Boulder Dam and I loved the on site museum.

Historic hotel right in downtown Boulder City but it is VERY noisy. I hardly got any sleep the night I stayed. Since it’s an old building, the sound proofing isn’t great and I heard every movement of the other guests (everyone stays on the second floor). Walking distance to many things and free parking, but I am not sure I would stay again unless I had ear plugs and a noise machine.

Everything was clean. The hotel was not full, so it was extremely quiet. The only two observations were this: the person checking us in in the afternoon was not warm or welcoming although she was competent.
Don't ask any questions and you are fine. The restaurant appears to be closed even though it was posted as being open. Might be seasonal, but never found out why. There are many other options for good dining in this town.

I thought the room was fantastic and quaint really liked it comfortable. The food in the restaurant and the service was excellent Hailey, Jamie,the chef's and all the others,Skyler too. The bar downstairs was great, Karen and Vicki, the music especially on Saturday was perfect. They sung me happy happy birthday and I loved it. The ladies at the front desk, Bonnie, Debbie, I can't remember the other ladies name. Were all excellent in service and helping us out. It was the best visit ever and I'll see you in two years. The housekeepers were darling, and so efficient.

Cute historic hotel in historic downtown Boulder City. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the museum about the history of Hoover Dam on the 2nd floor. We were disappointed that the restaurant was only open on the weekends.

Only complaint is the bed was like a slab of concrete. It’s definitely an old place so don’t expect a fitness center or pool. It’s a cool place. I was also a little disappointed that the museum wasn’t open even though it was past 7am when it said it was.
