It was good, the bed was comfortable (only stayed 1 night) room clean and tidy and plenty of parking.
Staff were friendly although at check-in time you should have more that one person on the front desk.

Stayed @ the hotel before. Good breakfast lots of choices.
Room and beds(two singles) are basic but comfortable.
Bathroom could use an update. The bath tub shower combination ended up giving issues with water running onto the floor. Would prefer a plain shower stall and no tub.
Got some issues with the electronic key. 3 time I had to go back to reception for a new key.. as the old one locked me out. From my understanding from the reception person it seems to happen often.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us. The room that we had was large and comfortable and very clean. it looks like they have been refurbished. The breakfast buffet was great - well stocked with both hot and cold selections.We ate in the restaurant, which is also very popular with locals, on two occasions. they food and presentation is of a high standard. The House wines are also good.There is plenty of free parking and the Wifi works well.The terrace overlooks the Schelde and in the right weather you can relax with a drink and watch the ships going to and from Antwerp.Its just 15 minutes walk to the market Square where there are good restaurants and a range of shops. Its a good base for touring as we did. Ghent; Antwerp;Bruges are driveable within one hour for each. To the North thru the Schelde Tunnel are really lovely Towns, Villages and Beaches and the roads are not crowded.We chose tis hotel as its a Hampshire property, looked good and had easy/free parking and found looking around that this hotel in our opinion is best in the area. They do like feedback and during our stay mentioned that we didn't appreciate an automatic bathroom light which wakes you up if you need to use at night and that we think it a bit backward that you have to get a key for the mini safe leaving a deposit - why not have a code! Lastly that they have a good coffee machine at Breakfast but only one so when busy a queue forms. We recommend highly.

Excellent stay whilst on business - home from home

Excellent location for a business trip. Friendly and excellent customer service. Responded to my special request and were very accommodating. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms light and airy which I love. The fans are an absolute must right now and much appreciated. The restaurant is also excellent with impeccable service and this is even translated into the room service. The restaurant and terrace are great spaces to relax with a nice ambiance and the views of the water of from there are lovely.

Superb trip - will definitely come again

Really comfortable stay whilst travelling on business. Hotel restaurant was a superb experience - location was lovely, atmosphere was relaxing and the food delicious. Room was relaxing - I had a sea view which was nice.

Good but not the Best

Hotel was in a good location for what we wanted. Small silly things detracted from our enjoyment i.e. there were fried eggs on the room service menu, however they were not available in the breakfast area. Beds were not made up as you expect in a quality hotel. Food was nice enough but a bit pretentious and pricey. Most of the staff were mainly pleasant and efficient and their ability and willingness to speak English was a huge advantage for us. Overall a reasonable hotel and we would be prepared to stay here again.

Hotel was nice and clean. Food on the other hand was terrible. Small portions and badly under cooked, no one seemed to care about quality of food! I would never eat there again! Lamb was tough, beef was rare and pork was too spicy.

I was surprised at the quality of this hotel, and the staff was excellent. There is ample parking. I liked the quotes by Sir Winston throughout the hotel. The breakfast was a standard \"English\" breakfast and not just cereal. The restaurant was great, and even had a couple of beers on tap. All in all, a very nice experience, and very close to the water.

Good location.

Ideal for a stopover for northern Netherlands, 2 hours from Calais, and you can take the scenic route north, over the Oosterscheldekering. Disappointed that the room did not have a ceiling fan as advertised and the hotel could not provide us with a portable fan either.

Lovely waterfront setting - very interesting setting for views during breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Cute waiters too. Churchill theme was interesting - don't know what inspired that. I found the front desk clerk (whose name I didn't get) very helpful when I had to go back to my room for a lost item after I had checked out.

Churchill Hotel - pretty decent

The person who checked me in at the hotel stood up, shook my hand, and thanked me for staying at their hotel. I found it convenient from my appointment near Belgium as an overnight stay before heading on to Amsterdam.

Although the hotel is shown on the water, there are actually no water view rooms. They're all privately owned apartments.

There's no air conditioning in the rooms, however this was March, but I wouldn't want to stay there in summer. Ternuezen is a quiet town so having the windows open at night wasn't an issue.

The free breakfast in the morning and free parking was very nice!

Top locatie. Standaardkamer erg klein voor de prijs die ze vragen. Badkamer helemaal zeiknat na douchen. Moet ook in bad douchen, zit zwarte schimmel op de voegranden. Bed slaapt niet lekker door keihard kussen. Restaurant was ijskoud. Eten in restaurant wel lekker en goed.

La estacia ha sido maravillosa. El trato por parte del personal impecable. La habitación muy cómoda sin embargo hubo dos detalles: mi estancia fue en otoño ya con clima frío y la climatización dentro de la habitación era muy fría, sin posibilidad de calentar o reducir la velocidad del ventilador. Segundo, el baño dejaba mucho que desear. Mi habitación estaba ubicada en la planta baja y quizás por eso salía un olor muy fuerte de las cañerías. Había moho en la parte superior de la bañera donde colocaron una mampara de vidrio. Esta mampara es muy corta y durante la ducha se mojaba mucho el piso. Creo que esto no está al nivel de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Por lo demás es un excelente hotel con muy buenas amenidades y sobre todo con un personal extremadamente amable y de mucha ayuda. Volería sin duda a alojarme en este hotel.

Balie personeel was prima. Personeel in het restaurant stond uitgebreid achter de bar te kletsen terwijl er genoeg te doen was tijdens het ontbijt buffet. Er waren geen mokken, lepels, glazen, of tafels zonder vieze borden beschikbaar. Erg jammer, want ben verder tevreden over dit hotel.

Basis ontbijt waarbij het lokale aspect ontbreekt.

De eye catcher voor dit hotel, een werkelijk spectaculair uitzicht, werd tenietgedaan door smerige ramen met spinnenwebben, jammer.

Uiterlijke schijn bedriegt.

Aan de buitenkant oogt het hotel als een flatgebouw in de voormalige DDR. Grauw en lelijk.

Van binnen ziet het er echter prima uit. De kamer die ik had, is royaal en netjes. Helaas ontbreekt airconditioning en de douchekop gaf een te bescheiden straal.

De maaltijd in het restaurant was van uitstekende kwaliteit op een mooi opgemaakt bord.

Man muss wissen, dass das Hotel außerhalb liegt, nicht für touristische Reisen gedacht, kein Strand etc. Aber das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön, der Service - gerade im Restaurant , sehr gut!
