Clean, Kyoto Station shuttle was amazing. Everybody was so kind and the breakfast was excellent. A great place to stay.

The best hotel we have stayed during our 2 weeks trip to Japan! Staffs help you carry your baggage’s the moment you arrive (straight to your room!). Room was large (we got a free upgrade to a deluxe room!) which was super amazing from the hotel staffs considering we have 2 little toddlers and a pregnant wife. You can catch the shuttle bus to the main stations for free, again the staffs help you load and unload everything, a VIP service! I will come back to Kyoto for 1 whole week for our next trip to Japan and will certainly stay at this hotel! Extremely highly recommended!!

The staff was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure that there was no wait time, the elevator door was open as I walked up, and always had a smile. I don’t speak fluent Japanese and they helped me through every process and questions I had. The rooms were spacious and elegant.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Very modern, nice and clean, great location, walkable to many nearby sites, and easy access to the trains. The staff was so kind and helpful and the hourly shuttle to and from Kyoto station was a huge added bonus with the nicest drivers! I loved it here so much that I decided to stay an extra night! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Kyoto and I hope to be able to return one day soon! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is excellent. The TV is equipped with Netflix and other streaming services and easy to use. The location is superb for exploring Gion and Higashiyama, and not far from a metro station to get to the rest of town.
The free shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station is a nice bonus.
The one negative is that the gym is quite small, with only a few free weights and a treadmill. If that matters to you, consider a guest membership at a nearby local gym or a different hotel.

...and finally, the internet was very slow, barely being able to load basic webpages. I know they said it was 20mbps on the site, but it just felt incredibly slower. I usually only like to give positive reviews but I just felt that this hotel pretended to be higher quality than it really was.

A bit far from kyoto station but they have a shuttle bus to take you to the hotel and back to the station. just gotta check with them to see the times it’s there. a good 20 min ride but great hotel to be in. It’s a 20 min bus ride to the main shopping area but it’s definitely peaceful where the location is at. near one train station 10 min walking. there’s a lawson across the street from the hotel and staff is very very friendly. the best thing i did like was the private onsen you can book for a cost and the customer service is on point. very helpful. room was great the bed was bigger than usual hotels i have stayed at. if you don’t mind the bus ride and back it’s a good hotel to be in. friendly staff and if you need your luggage shipped to airport or another hotel they have a service for it.
