It’s a comfortable hotel with very friendly staff and good leisure amenities. It’s very well maintained and clean. Our room was a bit dark and gloomy because it was lower ground level and facing a small enclosed courtyard.

The hotel was lovely with great facilities. We enjoyed our stay but are not sure if we would return to this particular hotel. Found the staff to be very professional but we were left a little underwhelmed by the level of service we received. Worth it if you can get a great deal but we saw some other great options in the area too!

Stayed in an inner courtyard room to start which was a little dissappointing against what was expected. Staff great though and Food at breakfast and Dinner was excellent. Views feom the restaurant of rhe Mountain were amazing. Moved to Presidential Suite for a couple of extra nights. No real wow factor there so not really worth the cash. Could cut back the vegetation atvthe windows which spoiled the view of rhe Mountain. Slightly out of Town for walking but just doable.

Large and impressive hotel in Westport located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of town. Very friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel. Our classic double room was spacious, spotless and well appointed with a great bathroom. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant- both experiences were very good with excellent food and service and great views. Plenty of free parking within the landscaped grounds. Would definitely stay again - unfortunately we only had one night and would have liked to stay longer.

Very comfortable though a little dated.

A lovely hotel in a great location, overlooking the local town and valley. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the coffee cups supplied could be a little larger. Decor throughout is obviously of the highest quality, but is quite dated. Most of the furniture is functional but very old. A good spread for breakfast, though the cooked breakfast is quite 'dry', which could be alleviated with a small serving of beans perhaps. Small gripes over a lovely stay.

Kids are only allowed to use the pool from 9-12 on weekends, not during the week.
I also wouldn’t call it a spa, the pool is freezing, no toiletries for use after the pool. The sauna and steam room were the worst iv ever been in. Swimming hats are €4 per person. I would have brought my own if this was mentioned in the description.
There’s no arcade/ games room in which it’s stated there is. There is a pool table which is over 18s only. They also say they have archery and bike rentals which they don’t either. It’s a bit of a walk to the town also uphill so be aware of that if not so great at walking. Taxis are difficult to get at night. Might be an okay hotel for a couple but it is not family-friendly.
I feel the hotel needs to change the description as it’s not completely accurate.

The satff were absolutely lovejy but the quality of ky room was so poor . The bathroom was really dated ahd there was no minibar abd it was small and dark and i was so shocked thry would charge 300 € for a solo traveller for 1 night !. I booked 2 rooms,he ither room was for 2 friends ( 2 single ladies ) and theur roomwas enormous with 2 huge double beds. You coukd not get any room service afer 1 am which was really disappointing, i have no problem woth this if there's a minibbar but thry didn't have that either. Overall very disappointing

Lovely restaurant but menu limited so we went to the bar. Service in the bar was poor. Had to wait for menus and order to be taken. Place settings not brought until after food served and jug of water never arrived. We were not asked if food was satisfactory (it was) and no one asked us did we want to see a dessert menu, table was cleared and no one came back. Facilities were excellent overall but bar service disappointing.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The service was fabulous. In particular Peter in the restaurant was so welcoming and full of advice on where to visit. Unfortunately we were disappointed that the spa area had only one steam room working. The other two were out of order, the rainfall shower was out of order and the sauna was in complete darkness. We booked the hotel to use the spa facilities so this was a big let down. We felt that we should have been informed of this beforehand. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

During a blustery storm, Nieve greeted us at the reception desk like warm sunshine, and suggested fun activities in Westport. Aaron at the bar next served us good humour along with delicious sandwiches. We stayed three nights in a gloriously beautiful suite. Loved the view of Croagh Patrick during each delicious breakfast. The carpet was soiled, the bathroom was large but stale. I guess it didnt meet my standards of the hotels we frequent in the US. Chris the luggage help was amazing, and greeted us so kindly!

Hotel was just outside Westport but walkable..
reception staff were not as friendly as we found the rest of Ireland and gave no information at checkin about the hotel..
The rooms were huge and bathrooms enormous and were cleaned and re stocked everyday.
Breakfast was ok.. little on buffet to choose.Menu for Cooked food was good but arrived so promt it was impossible to have any first eg fruit yogurt porridge..
having said all that views at breakfast were just amazing it was a good hotel. ( seemed to cater very much to Americans) .. we enjoyed our stay very much.
