The facility is aged but has been kept in good shape. We look for cleanliness and good beds. The unit we had requested was not available and thus we had to take a different unit for which we had to pay more. It contained a kitchen which we did not want or need.

The staff at check in were great and check in was seamless. The pool was nice and warm. We had issues with hot water in the building on the first night so they upgraded our room free of charge which was nice but the bathroom in our upgraded room was exceptionally small. They had the shower and toilet in the same room and you could barely close the door when you were in there. If you put your elbows up you could touch the wall and shower there was zero space but outside the bathroom there is so much room for them to extend the bathroom and move the toilet over min a foot to give you some space. This place has a lot.of potential, it just needs aome upgrades. Also the walls are paper thin so we had to listen to the people beside us have super loud theatrical sexy time multiple times so that was disturbing as well. Its a 3 star for a reason, just be prepared for the bare minimum and the clients cheap motels attract.

The rooms are basic but clean, well kept, miminal sound insulation and priced well. The pool was great, if you plan on using it get a room in the same building as there are rooms in a different building from the pool. The check in hostess was really nice and explained everything well. You can get a quick breakfast in a bag to go, no restaurant on site but several within a few minutes. Overall great value, we would book again.

Beautiful property, friendly staff, nice saltwater pool and large rooms. They had a bag breakfst, the food was fresh and the coffee was very good. Our bathroom did not have hot water for a shower, but otherwise it was a wo derful stay. I would stay here again.

We were only here for a night, but it was very reasonably priced, clean and spacious room. There had definitely been updates to the room and the shower was very nice glassed in and large. The property has a salt water pool that was really warm and a very good size. If we have to chance to be in the area again we would definitely stay here.

It is more of a motel than an inn, and quite old. We stayed in the rooms above the pool, and they were loud with creeking/hollow floors. The motel rooms would probably be better. The pool was good. Main complaint was this was advertised as having a breakfast included - it did not, and only had bagged continental items to go, limited to 2 servings per room. Not enough for a family and felt like false advertising.

This property is a great value. I stayed over night as I had an event in the area. I wasn’t sure what to expect for such a low cost but the service was wonderful both at check in and check out. The room was large and clean. The only thing was that the secondary lock was missing from the door ( the one that is usually a latch) but I felt completely safe and had no issues. I didn’ t use the pool but walked by it and it looked clean and inviting. I would recommend this as an economical place to spend the night.

Beware of bed bugs

I’ve had a very bad experience staying in this hotel as they have successfully managed to ruin my vacation. Booked for 8 nights however I had to leave after only two nights because of bed bugs. After I complained to the hotel manager, they have done their own investigation and they said they found 1 bed bug which I very much doubt because I was bitten in over 50 places all over my body. I had to consult a doctor and was prescribed antibiotics and cream and because I’m not a Canadian citizen I had to pay a private doctor fee which the hotel management refused to reimburse me for it despite emailing them a photos of the receipts and proof of the bug bites. In fact they have completely ignored my emails and not even replied to me. They did arrange for full refund when I told them on the second day that I want to cancel my booking. My advice is to stay well away from this place.

Juice, muffin & nutrigrain bar in a paper bag.
There is a breakfast area with a toaster, fridge, etc but not set up. Property should advertise breakfast as “muffin & juice” in order to manage expectations.

Had a great rate and was clean/ comfy beds. The continental breakfast consisted of an orange juice and pre-packaged muffin in a brown bag to go, so I was disappointed in this as I wouldn’t consider that a “breakfast” we ended up having to go out and get coffee/ breakfast adding to our over all expense and the cable was choppy on almost all the channels. Over all stay was pleasant and would use this hotel again

It served its purpose, good for the price. This time we got a room above the pool, which is more updated than the the rooms on the ground floor. I prefer having the more updated room, even though it doesn’t have a kitchen since we only stayed 1 night. Also nice to have indoor access to the pool.

Reserved three rooms for our family.
One of our rooms, Room 80, had bedbugs. One of the other rooms, Room 79, smelled like somebody had died in there!!!
They were discovered when one of our grandchildren headed off to bed at 11:00p.m.
We decided we were all leaving and contacted the front desk to tell them all of us were checking out!!
So we had to wake up an 8 year old and a 10 month baby to pack up everyday and leave at midnight with no place to go.
Upon leaving the girl at front desk said she spoke to owner and we were told we would be getting a full refund. She said this was the first time they had bedbugs!! Really??
Asked about further compensation and all we got was a sorry.
Two days have passed and haven't received refund yet.
When you book, if you dare risk it, make sure it is not a \"poker night\" they are hosting because the limited parking is taken by the poker players!!!
This place ruined our wedding weekend.
Expected to get a personal apology from the owner, but didn't.
Truly a filthy place to stay!!

The woman at reception was really awesome! She was friendly and very helpful. The room itself is dated and tired (which is expected as the inn looks quite old), but clean enough. We were in the building that has the pool (since we requested some pooltime) and the smell of chlorine was very strong. The pool itself was nice.

Enough space and furniture. I like the sink is out of the bathroom, big mirror and the small movable Make-up mirror.
However, the heat/AC is very loud. When i put it low, it has a kind of burning smells. We have 3 people, but we were given 2 set of towels. Anyway, I always bring extra towel with me when I travel.

The beds and pillows were too stiff and tge halls smelled heavily of chlorine but the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even had someone check the room at check out to make sure we didnt leave anything behind. This would be a beautiful property in the summertime. I would stay here again.

The entrance to the building had a strong smell of the pool chemicals though and the stairs up to the second floor had a trip hazard on the landing going up to the 2nd flights a short step from the landing. Pleasantly surprised! We weren't sure what to expect booking a non chain hotel but we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, quiet and modern. First impression driving into parking lot: sketchy. Check in was fast and friendly by staff. Room was easily found on second floor. Room was clean but way to hot: heater was on high. Had to keep heat off, room was naturally warm. Ammenities in room were great. Beds a bit soft to my liking. Salt water pool in other building (walk around main hotel to get to) was great. Got to use hot tub once and then enployees put it \"out of order\". Which sucked for rest of stay. We went up as a group of Bantam hockey team for local tournament. Location was great between arenas we attended and just outside of the city limits. Many restaurants/shopping were a five minute drive too. All in all good hotel, resaonably priced. Just looks sketchy! Maybe need a exterior make over.

The check in process was very pleasant thanks to the lovely lady at the front desk who also generously upgraded my room due to the previous guest having extended their stay at the last minute.
My room was clean/updated looking but no hot water when I went to shower at night. Hallway creaked a lot so you could hear everyone that walked down it during the night. Overall the hotel is old and had some pretty sketchy guests when I was there. Sadly, I would not likely stay there again.
