Nice, quiet guesthouse. Friendly and helpful staff. It is listed somewhere as a five-star hotel, which it is obviously not by international standards, but a good place for a quiet stay. They only serve breakfast. Restaurants are not very close by, but meals can be ordered and brought.

Our last night in Namibia was spent at Villa Moringa. We had a fairly small room (chosen by us - there are larger rooms) but the lounges, pools, and other areas of the guesthouse were lovely and available to spend free time in. The guesthouse was within walking distance of a street with many restaurants. The morning breakfast was complete with meats, cheeses, eggs (cooked to order), pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and a cake. The entrance for vehicles was a bit tight and we met our cab at the street access just to save him a bit of a long back-up.

A restful spot, with a perfectly situated terrace dining area for overlooking the rolling residential area of Klein Windhoek. Lots of bird life in the surrounding trees to enjoy over lingering coffee.

The staff, their service and attention to detail in general was terrible. The guest house is conveniently situated and rooms comfortable and neat. Unfortunately the staff lacks enthusiasm and some personality. Not once during a five day stay did any staff member greet or ask if we required anything and if we were still enjoying our stay. Not once were we greeted by any of the staff. The only person who interacted was the lady taking our breakfast order (no change in any options during a five day stay). After a jog I was not even able to get ice for some cold water in a hot Windhoek.
Even upon departure the keys were merely collected not wishing us a good trip or even saying goodbye. There is nothing wrong with the rooms or the buildings but staff attitudes needs serious attention. What a let-down!

We arrived at 9pm and it took 15 minutes to find somebody to book is in. The bed was VERY hard and my wife ended up sleeping on the couch. The room has a definite home DIY feel about it.

Other than the limitedness of hot water, the room and breakfast were fantastic! Great location in an upscale neighborhood in Windhoek proper. Staff members will assist you with anything you need, and have a kind, wonderful taxi driver on call, Andrew. If you are in need of a taxi, please request Andrew. - he's insightful and very well priced. There needs to be more hot water available in the showers especially when there are two or more guests per room.

We spent 3 nights at this quite pleasant guest house...It's a bit outside of town so a car is recommended although taxis are cheap enough...our room was clean and large with gardens on both sides....the included breakfast was good. They also serve a simple lunch and dinner menu which was adequate and wine....Good option if you're too tired to go out after returning from the bush! Would recommend this beautiful spot, it's quiet, staff are friendly and helpful.....all in all an excellent end to our African adventure......

the guesthouse was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. breakfast had a good spread and was of a high standard. we were pleased that there was someone waiting to check us in late at night, even when we had made no prior arrangements. good location, good views from the breakfast area. if you choose to stay there you will need a car as it is suburban and if your GPS maps are old like ours, look for Gloudina Road as the name changed recently :)

A one night stay, chosen as a quiet place on outskirts of Windhoek, after an over night flight. One of us was not well, the other a vegetarian, Both had very appropriate meals. Very secure compound for our rental car. All staff exceptionally pleasant.

I was very impressed. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-equipped. Distinctive extra touches such as the complimentary port made it extra special. Janine and her staff were unfailingly helpful, going the extra mile to make my stay special. The location is not central, but it is a cheap and easy taxi ride away. NB Villa Moringa will organise transport to/from the airport at very reasonable rates if you ask them in advance.

Das Guesthouse ist etwas schwierig zum Finden, ruhiger und sicherer Ort, auch für das Auto und sogar kostenfrei. Für Menschen die Natur und Ruhe suchen, nichts für Kinder. Zimmer sind geräumig, grosses Bad, leider kein Föhn vorhanden.

Tive uma passagem bem rápida pelo Villa Moringa chegando tarde e saindo bem cedo no dia seguinte. O quarto não é grande mas é suficiente para um casal. As instalações pareceram boas em geral mas não tinha água quente no meu quarto. Falei com a funcionária, testamos a água num quarto ao lado e a mesma coisa: somente água fria. A recomendação seria trocar para um quarto em outra ala mais distante o que envolveria eu ter que carregar as malas de uma ala para outra. Foi mais fácil tomar banho gelado.
