This hotel was recently added by Marriot. I was staying at the hotel a few weeks after it transitioned from the grand millennium. Honestly, the staff were some of the best I have ever encountered in my 40+ years of traveling. Everyone was kind, professional, and beyond compare. Truly, a very comfortable and wonderful stay. We are used to the standards of Dubai's 5* hotels, but had not stayed at a GM hotel before. The hotel's public areas, pool and restaurants did not disappoint, nor did our room - a quiet Superior King room with canal views and inclusive breakfast. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom, and the A/C was perfect for us by default.
Breakfast was particularly nice, and my fussy dietary needs were met with maximum enthusiasm to please, even to the point that they sourced non-standard supplies for me from Day Two onwards. It was the same for our room - I had a list of particular preferences that they met with enthusiasm. Room service was excellent and when I was ill, they sorted me out a non-standard chicken broth and a special tea - nothing was too much trouble.
So in respect of 5* accommodation, all of our expectations were met or exceeded, leaving no room for disappointment or complaint. But where this hotel stands out from the crowd is in the warmth and undeniably genuine eagerness to please their guests and ensure that their needs are met. We are very used to hospitality professionalism, but our stay here took things to a new level, and the attention to detail in making us feel like royalty, was very noticeable.

The hotel room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was inept, and very unhelpful. Hotel concierge confirmed my NYE reservation as Asia Asia (the on-site reservation) only to last minute inform me of some ridiculous minimum spend requirement that was not previously mentioned to me within 24 hours of NYE so that I was unable to make a reservation elsewhere. At one point, the valet attendant suggested that I walk close to 2 miles, alone, at night because \"getting a taxi would be difficult.\" The area around the hotel is nothing special. It's not really walking distance to anything of note. It would be better to stay in downtown Dubai or Palm Jumeriah. I stayed here thinking it would give me easy walking access to the Burj Khalifa for NYE, but I was mistaken. I regret staying at this property.

Was my first time in Dubai and this hotel was really great! Came on a girls trip with my friend and we felt very safe and super accommodated. All the staff were super friendly, nice, accommodating, and overall just a great vibe. We had an issue with our first room and after telling the hotel, they immediately upgraded our room to a bigger suite (free of charge) and were super kind about the situation. This place was also super affordable and within our budget (We stayed 11 nights) Free breakfast came with our room as we added that to our package. I can’t say enough nice things about the workers and overall experience there. Even the staff outside would greet us back every time, open our car doors, made sure we were good with our taxis, and always smiling. I would 10/10 recommend.

Great staff, lots of great amenities. There was a lot of noise from the “Lock, Stock and Barrel” hotel bar, often late into the night—which I was surprised was very audible in the room, even with all the windows shut.
But the highlights of this hotel are definitely the incredible staff and the many touches of useful technology in the rooms (e.g “night mode” lighting, and a bathroom mirror that defogs itself). I highly recommend a stay here.

Hotel and staff were immaculate, they couldn’t do enough for us and gave us a complimentary upgrade and cake to celebrate our honeymoon. However the location wasn’t close to any of the key tourist areas and not very pedestrian friendly something I didn’t realise when booking. A great hotel for business maybe not so much for tourists especially if you like to walk places you’ll need to be getting a taxi.

Location is good. I tried the food via room service and it was the worst pizza I ever ate. A frozen pie has been sprinkled with some toppings. The AC constantly made noise during the night. I had booked through Hotels.com and was charged 3 times for the rate by the hotel and that has still not been sorted out.

Myself and my husband were celebrating my birthday and wedding anniversary and stayed at the Grand Millennium Business Bay from 1st October 2022 - 6th October 2022. The hotel is amazing, clean, and the aroma pumped through the vents is like stepping into an oasis of calm the scent is divine! All Staff are welcoming, warm and very helpful! The pool and pool area is kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice and we had a lovely dinner at the newly opened Asia Asia restaurant situated on the 2nd floor. We walked into the room when we checked in where we found a lovely cake wishing me a Happy Birthday and a few days later an wedding anniversary cake was delivered, the staff made us feel very special! Room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels etc, I’d like to give a special shout out to Komang our room attendant, he was so lovely and kind an asset to the hotel, will definitely recommend this hotel for couples, single traveler, families and business.

It was a nice area, although there is building work going on around that area at the moment it was a very pleasant area to stay in comparison to a road I stayed at last time I visited Dubai which had unpleasant people and activities around! This was definitely a more professional and family friendly environment hotel and area :) would stay again and opt for the canal view next time even though the city view was very pretty in the morning and night!
