For what we paid, this hotel did all it needed. The room was comfy and had everything we needed. I feel like the upkeep and cleanliness could be better. We avoided the included breakfast after noticing ants on the table and a staff member using bug spray near the fresh fruit… but other than that, it was great!

Staff was wonderful. Location top notch. The hotel is in need of a good cleaning, and better amenities. Such as a bar /restaurant area. Later hours on the pool. The elevator is in need of an upgrade. Remove tables from the breakfast area. The hotel is really in need of reorganizing. However, the bed was comfortable, there was hot water for the showers. The rooms without windows were nice no noise. However when the rooms are not occupied they need to have their doors kept open for ventilation. Mine had a slight mildew smell.

The room was not very clean, the bathroom was dirty and had weird brown stains on the counter. Ventilation is not great the room started smelling mouldy. It was not bad but it wasn’t good. We only stayed a couple of nights so it was manageable. Staff were nice!

While the staff was great, even acknowleding my booking requests, i was put on a floor that the elevator did not reach. Had to walk up and down a flight with my bags. And the room was extremely small despite it being a double deluxe room, with a nice but obstructed view. This would be a difficult stay for 2 people in 1 room with 2 large suitcases. It is in a great location.

Great location, close to so many things. The room was tiny with a very small window but was very clean. Bathroom was nice. Pool a lot smaller than it looks in photos can barley walk around it. Only 2 beds and 2 tables sets. But it was nice to have a dip on a hot day. Staff not particularly friendly except for 1 guy.

It was ok, but really room was never cleaned unless left door on tag, area around was being fixed so quite dirty and unsafe, lots escorts nearby, room was ok better spend more get window room, hair dryer was annoying would die out of power after 2 minutes hah, breakfast was poor, 2 many Indians, felt like I was back in Thailand yuck, pool saw no1 in it, let friends park underground which is nice, it was ok but wish paid $30 a night not just under 50

My parents and I stayed there for 5 nights. The location was good, walking distance to shops, there are food places just outside of the hotel. Also exchange rate shops and convenience store is very close just around the corner. The location outside the hotel was a bit messy with potholes but if didn’t bother us. There is a bar just infront but was only loud on Saturday night i think, didn’t bother our sleep. The staff were nice and helpful. We booked for 3 people and our room window was so big which we liked and the room was pretty big as well enough for 3 large luggages. Price is very good not to mention. There were a lot of choices for food during breakfast.

Pleasant surprise. In a tiny street with a nice atmosphere close to the walking Street where they have nightclubs. The room I had was very spacious clean beautiful layout. The pool was nice as well. Breakfast was OK. I think it was a great location To experience that part of town. Street food everywhere.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

The staff at checking were absolutely amazing and could not do enough to help us! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very comprehensive with lots to choose from. The hotel is in a fantastic location and easy to get to and from the airport or train station. Only a very short walk into the central part of Saigon. The rooftop pool is not very big but it is very refreshing with fabulous views. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and I will be back again!

Good place and safe location!

I has been staying here many times. I liked the location very convenient to all good vibe areas. The staffs are very helpful. However the last time I stayed, I realize the duvet cover has a female perfume smell, then I realized that wasn't change. I was skeptical so decided stop boring the cleaning lady and just flip them inside out to use it for the night. I will return here cuz' I am sure they can do better.

Good value Ho Chi Minh stay.

The Prague Hotel was pretty much as expected from previous reviews. The room was good, the shower clean with good water pressure and hot water and located in the busy backpacker area of District 1. My partner felt a little unsafe in the area at night which we had not felt anywhere else in Vietnam. The breakfast was OK but would benefit from a more efficient toaster.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location to get around the city and it is also near to the bus company which has bus services to may other areas.

Hotel cleanliness isn't perfect but comfortable enough as there were ants constantly on the desk, I killed a cockroach on one night, shelves and bedside tables were dusty.

Service staff were pretty friendly and helpful.

Location was great - on a small street filled with restaurants - but a taxi was able to get through. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. Room was clean and modern - and very quiet. I booked one without a window, which suited me nicely. Pool was small but nice - and the breakfast view/pool both had stunning views. We loved the hustle and bustle of the location; it's on \"backpacker's row\" where lots of travelers hang out, so get ready for late night fun (that said, the air conditioner drowns out most of the street noise - slept fine). Speaking of air conditioning, this room got COLD, which in Vietnam is a true luxury. The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. We *did* have to ask for them to replace toilet paper again and again though, so don't assume having your room serviced will mean replacing tissues/paper. It lead to some embarrassing panicked calls to the front desk... The bar and pool area are not fancy but it was fine for our needs; the pool water was actually cool, which is rare in Vietnam, but no one really hung out up there either and the bar didn't have many options (e.g. no wines by the glass). Rooftop bars & pools are a major thing in HCMC, and this one feels like \"I guess we're doing this\" rather than something deliberate and thought through. Also it closes very early. Breakfast is up there and it's free, so you can't complain! The desk staff speaks very strong English & they were able to get us from the airport with very short notice. (Use the Grab app for way cheaper taxi service - hotel charges 350,000VND & Grab was 100,000). The beds were comfortable but the pillows weren't; the room's decor was sleek & modern & spacious enough for all our backpacks to explode all over the place. The shower was great - good water pressure & spacious. Overall, pretty good!

There was some issues with water leak on my room and smelled a bit from mold, but they fixed it otherwise the hotel was in good condition and the location was superb. I missed ham and chese to the bread though, so breakfast was a bit too brittish, i like it continental

I didn’t have a problem with the hotel unit one of my personal item was place in the safe was swap out. Clearly someone has open the safe box. So if you stay there be careful what you put in the safe box.
We wouldn’t stay again do to this matter.

Friendly, efficient greeting, after small flight of stairs to reception. Lift to all floors. Room cosy, clean crisp bedding. Comfortable firmish bed. Shower room small, but enough. Full range of amenities provided. Decent amount of clothes storage, for a small room. Efficient air conditioning. We overlooked the backpackers street, but undisturbed by any noise. Lots of great restaurants close by. Small clean plunge pool on top floor, pool towels provided. Excellent view of the city. Smoking allowed on this levels terrace, till 10 pm when pool closes. Breakfast surprising good, for this price point of Hotel. Eggs made to order, fresh fruits, yoghurt, fruit juices. Cereal, pastry and bread products. Small selection of basic hot foods. Looked after our luggage while we awaited our departure time. A taxi can come right up to the hotel, unlike the parallel st which will only accommodate motorbikes, which saves dragging luggage to the end of the Street. A great basic hotel. Would stay again.

My stay is enjoyable. Free breakfast is awesome and delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and easy to work with. I stayed here for a week and highly recommend people to stay here. The hotel is 3 years old, so it is pretty clean. They clean you room everyday unless you don’t want to 😀. This area is close to many major places in district 1 so you will find ease to go play.

Phone was stolen near by, and staff at night did not help call the police and refused to dial emergency and instead said the police are closed.

Told us it's happened to many customers and their suggestion was to buy a new phone instead.

This is a very nice hotel. Frankly, it should be for the price. Staff is very accommodating. We had a room with no window which is not an issue. It is very quiet. Breakfast buffet on top floor and pool both very nice. Go up in the evening for a nice skyline view. Only concerns were lack of consistency for hot water (sometimes tepid) and Wi-Fi sometimes slow. That said, I would stay here again. Location is very convenient for local transportation as well as sightseeing by foot.

Prague Hotel is perfect! Great location in the city center, wonderful breakfast, nice pool and rooftop view, and the bedroom was the perfect size for 2 friends traveling together. The hotel even helped us book the perfect Mekong Delta tour for us since we had some issues with other online tour bookings. Prague Hotel helped me to fully enjoy my stay in Ho Chi Minh and if I ever return, I’ll probably stay at this hotel again.

You get what you pay for. Room was decent, modern and clean. Ordered room service once, and food was terrible, didn't try the breakfast. Location is ok if you want to be in the middle of the backpacker area. I enjoyed staying in other parts of the city more. My main complaint is the construction, which was going on all day both days I was here. Other thing was the pipes and drainage must be pretty old. It was really loud and would often wake us up at night. Anytime someone had a shower or ran a tap or flushed it was pretty epic in my suite.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights after 3 nights in Hanoi. The Hanoi hotel staff were warm and friendly, interested in making suggestions about places to see and how to get to places. They took the trouble to learn our name.

At Prague Hotel staff were indifferent at best. I was shocked to learn this is a family run place - I have never met such bored staff. They could care less about the guests staying at the hotel. Everything was frosty and impolite - from the way they asked the room number at breakfast to reception staff greeting, to cleaners (who took 8 hours to clean the room!)

The “pool” is absolutely tiny and the hotel is in an incredibly busy street with a huge amount of noise into all hours of the night. Fortunately we were on the 4th floor, but even then we heard a lot of the noise.

To top up the bad experience, they messed up our airport drop off. The driver was 10 min late and they again barely cared that I had an international flight to catch. So no, I don’t recommend it.
