Million dollar view.

The hotel sits perched on a cliff with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea. They serve breakfast from that terrace, awesome. Rooms are small, pretty standard for Europe, clean and comfortable. The parking is free. Easy walk to the main part of town. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pleasant staff, great location and lovely terrace. Restaurant Balco vg for lunch.
If driving to hotel suggest use Google street view to familiarise with the one way system. Parking is pot luck. Tiny square outside hotel, or nearby side street or further up the hill.

Amazing views and setting

The hotel is beautiful and well run. The views are just amazing as is the service and the food. The included breakfast was great. A quick walk into the stunning town, just a few minutes to restaurants, shops and the beach. The rooms are a little loud, you can hear people in the halls and walking around but nothing out of the ordinary for most European hotels. I would stay here again.

Lovely Hotel with great sea views

We really enjoyed our stay at Sant Roc Hotel - it's in a fabulous location.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Just a few minor points for improvement- the coffee machine did seem to be very slow at times and it was unclear what buttons to press for expresso / a full cup of coffee etc.
It would also be great if the tea served at breakfast was made with tea bags & hot boiling water as opposed to being served a pot of hot water and then having to get your own tea bags.
We had one meal in the restaurant which was very good except the main course was not very hot.
On the whole we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

Lovely location with beautiful views

We stayed at this same hotel over 20 years ago. Our impression on our recent return visit was that the essence of this delightful hotel was unchanged - lovely helpful staff, very obliging. A few material changes have taken place such as upgrading the bathrooms and the covered area of the outdoor terrace has been extended. Everything else seemed pretty much the same - great breakfasts overlooking the sea and cove etc. We didn't use the restaurant this time, but looking at what they had on offer and what we saw being served to guests, it looked great.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, parking was difficult and at the weekend you had to walk about 300 metres, if you want a sea view it needs to be stated when booking. Restaurant menu was limited if you do not like fish but there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance. Can recommend Mas Oliver on the road to Palafrugell for a great traditional Spanish meal.
Views from the breakfast terrace are superb. Wifi in the room was rubbish but excellent in the bar.

Picturesque hotel on an idyllic coastline.

We enjoyed our three-night stay in a compact room that had everything we needed. The receptionists were very helpful and welcoming. Although we didn't have a sea-view room, we took every advantage of the superb coastal position and enjoyed breakfasts in the garden or on the terrace overlooking the fantastic coast.

Second stay even bewtter

This was our second visit to this hotel and we enjoyed it every bit as much. We upgraded ($30 per nite) to a Ocean view room that had a great patio. We could hear the waves crashing below, especially on a windy/cold day. Unfortunately many of the shops were closed for the season, but we enjoyed two restaurants (one with great tapas) suggested by the hotel. All of the staff were excellent and seamed to go out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Wonderful hotel and location

We stayed with friends at San Roch for two nights and were very pleased with our stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. The view from the terrace where we had breakfast was beautiful and breakfast was superb with lots of choice. We look forward to returning next year.

Perfect Position

This traditional Spanish hotel is perfectly positioned with wonderful views of the adjacent bays and within walking distance of the local restaurants and bars. It is a very relaxing place to stay and set back far enough away from the village to provide a peaceful haven in which to relax. Highly recommended and I'll be back.

Loved our stay here. We were offered a free upgrade to a seaview room which was well received! All of the staff were so kind and considerate and we were even given free tickets for the Jazz festival. They welcomed our dog (who stayed on the balcony). A fridge in the room would have been great but couldn't fault the decor, beds, and 'new' shower room. Spectacular views from the dining room (well documented already) - a lovely spot to enjoy the varied breakfast. Free off-site car parking at the front of the hotel. We have stayed in C de P many times (4th time this year) and usually stay at Hotel Port Bo but will have to think more carefully in future after our good experience here. We MAY be back!!

Good value in a good spot

The hotel is well located on a cliff, a short walk down to the local beaches/restaurants/shops. The terrace has lovely sea views and plenty of outdoor seating. The room was very simple and clean, bed fairly comfy. The bathroom was modern (more like 4* or 5* standard), with a good power shower and toiletries. Breakfast was included - a fairly simple affair but it did the job. Free WiFi was available in the communal areas but the signal wasn't strong enough to reach our room. The rooms didn't have a suitcase stand or full length mirror - those were the only critiscisms we had. The staff were helpful when called upon, and spoke very good English. If I was in the area again I would have no reservations about staying at the Sant Roc again.

Lovely Hotel

I've stayed at the Sant Roc twice in the past few years (each time for several nights), and it's always been a treat. Lovely, unique location and view, friendly staff, good-enough restaurant. It's a great place to relax. I hope to return soon. One tip: For a stay of two nights or less, go ahead and take the half-board option. For more than 3 nights, dine ala carte in the restaurant once or twice, then drive into the country for other lunches or dinners. (Skip most of the restaurants in the village.)

Relaxing stay by the sea

We stayed in an ocean view corner room for 1 night in late October 2012 with a panaramic view facing the town. The room was wonderful and well maintained. The staff spoke english and were very helpful. The grounds were great to explore with a winding path through the hillside. Good food, great view, spa style grounds and upkept surroundings. Great place if you want to relax and explore the grounds and then walk into town (5 minute walk to town). We would stay in this hotel again if given the chance.

We got the tower room which has a 270 degree view of the surrounding area. Definitely worth it if you don't mind stairs and made for a unique stay. The rest of the hotel is great too, the resturant was tasty, and the staff friendly.

Quite good service at this hotel. Nice, comfortable topfloor rooms with seaview and balcony, very expensive in hight season though! Half board is compulsary in peak season and the food is surprisingly dull, tasteless and badly prepared. Å la carte dinner at a supplement turned out to a vaste of money. If you choose this destination, the Sant Roc probably the best located hotel. With location as the main attraction, pay the extra money for a top floor room with balcony/seaview if you can! Good in-room breakfast on the balcony accompanied by the smell of the sea, the sound of the vawes and the view of the sun-lit waters and pinewood covered slopes is peacefull bliss. Nice little creaks for swimming and suntanning very close by. Quiet location but Calella is crowded with visitors in August..

L'hotel est tres bien situé , tres belle terrasse pour prendre un verre ou manger avec une tres belle vue .
Notre chambre donnant sur le parking meriterait une petite rénovation mais correcte pour dormir et silencieuse en octobre .
Personnel tres professionnel et a l'écoute .
Nous avons pris un verre au bar tarif reaisonnable .
Restaurant en ville Le Margarita est exceptionnel , Le restaurant Gelpifish est tres bien .

Wir waren zwei Tage im Sant Roc . Wir sind von sehr netten Damen an der Rezeption empfangen worden und bekamen ein schönes Zimmer . Hervorheben kann man das tolle sehr umfangreiche Frühstück . Man ist von dort aus schnell im Ort oder kann an der Küste entlang wandern zu den Jardins de Cap Roig . Sehr empfehlenswert . Die Aussicht vom Hotel ist grandios 👍herzlichen Dank für zwei schöne Tage

Das Hotel liegt einzigartig. Man sollte in jedem Fall auf die Wahl des Zimmers achten. Sind diese nämlich zum Parkplatz ausgerichtet , so sind sie relativ dunkel und schattig und man wird regelmäßig morgens in der Zeit von 7.00. bis 7. 30 Uhr von der Müllabfuhr geweckt.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the lovely views. The only complain is that because we booked half board we were not allowed to sit on the terrace or by the window in the restaurant for dinner even though we were the first to arrive for dinner and also requested with the restaurant and the reception. We were told because we booked half board we couldn’t, in my experience most hotels would prioritise you if you were staying at their hotel in this case it’s preferible to just book bed and breakfast and book your meal separately if you want a table with a nice view. We enjoyed the food also.

In die Jahre gekommen, leider!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, die Aussicht von der Restaurant Terrasse ist wunderschön. Das Hauptproblem war das Zimmer, das Zimmer war seit längerem nicht renoviert worden. Das Bett und die Matratzen waren leider von schlechter Qualität. Der Lärm im Zimmer war sehr hoch, da das Holet alt ist und schlecht isoliert ist, konnte Mann nur zwischen 01.00 und 08.00 Uhr morgens schlafen, sonst war sehr laut. Eigentlich möchten wir das Sprichwort \"aussen Hui innen pfui\" nicht bringen, aber es geht in die Richtung. Das Hotel verkauft sich ausschliesslich durch die Aussicht und der Lage des Hotels.
