The room was a bit dusty, the water was mildly warm, and the toilet was almost unflushable. At night the room was too brightly lit by the nearby hotel so sleeping for me was quite difficult. The location is excelent, sadly the overall quality was a mixed bag of really nice furniture and location, and bad services in the room.

The location was good but the room was not the room I booked via the image. There was no space to put suitcases and the bed was against the wall so hard to get in and out. Sheets also didn't tuck in. Had to boil the kettle on the floor as no plugs near the small table.

The property was well worth the price and is very close to the main attractions - just a short walk from Kalemegdan fortress, Knez Mihailova and the Temple of Saint Sava. The host Suzana was very welcoming and helpful as well. I would highly recommend this property for people looking for a convenient, budget-friendly stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, 5 minutes walk to Republic Square & about 10 to the central bus terminal. There are no breakfast options but there’s plenty of cafes nearby.

Room was comfortable, clean and the air conditioning worked well (which is important during the summer). The shower worked good. The staff were friendly.

The room overlooked a busy street but noise was minimal, although you can hear the odd hooter being blown it never woke me up or cased a problem.

Decent price and an enjoyable stay. Everything was as described. 👍

Nightmare Stay: No Reception, No Refund

Be very careful, there is no reception, even though they state someone is available to check in till 9pm, that is no true. They send people a code so that they can open the door of the building and the door of the room themself. In our case they forgot to send us the codes and we had to book somewhere else for the night, after unsuccessfully trying to call their number. What made things worst is that they refused to give us any refund.

The overall price and location is worth the stay.

The location was perfect. It's very central and within walking distance to all sights and attractions in Belgrade and the area appeared to be safe, even late at night.

The lady on the front desk throughout our stay was nice and friendly.
The room and bathroom were both very clean and we had clean towels put in the room every day.

The room was ok for what we needed however it was disappointing.
It was quite noisy with the road outside and with people shouting at all hours of the night, every night.
The room could benefit from blackout curtains or a blind.
The bed was extremly uncomfortable and made so much noise whenever you moved or turned over. So much so that you could hear guests in other rooms moving around in the bed during the night!
The rainfall showerhead in our bathroom did not work and the holder bit for the other shower head was broken which meant we had to hold the shower head.

Overall for the price, cleanliness and the location, I'd recommend this hotel, you just may not get much sleep 😅

Hidden gem, perfect stay!

Excellent stay, just like the photos. Great AC, nice bathroom. It's compact, like most of Europe. More space than I expected and best price. I'll stay here again ever visit. It has no elevator, registration is 1 flight of stairs up. And luckily my room was on that 1st floor. They have 5 floors total, I believe the bigger rooms are the higher floors. As a solo traveler or couple you could get lucky with the 1st floor. Very clean. Wonderful reception welcome and they offer airport transfer same price as the taxi (maybe less really) and so convenient and nice. I didn't try the breakfast or even look. I had so much good food or my food tour the night before, I couldn't eat more! Lol
It's also a perfect location! I walked everywhere within 20min. Next to the famous Hotel Moskva, you cannot get a better location. Check out the nice shopping street or Jazz cafe with many restaurants only a block away! I also walked 20min to the famous river restaurants and clubs. Also I walked back 20min from the big Galleria Mall. Such a great stay! Thank you Maja!

They canceled the reservation for my second night

The day before my check in, I received a message from the hotel saying that I could only stayed the first night because they did not have a room for me for the second night. I was not happy about this at all. I had to find a new hotel for the second night.
Also, there was not anybody to check me in when I got there at 5:20 pm. They had left me a note with instructions. There is not an elevator and I was in the third floor. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

Excellent central location and a room! Kudos to the room design, as the mirrors and colors really made it look twice as big. Excellent job on using the soap from dispensers instead of single-use plastic. The bathroom is clean and the hot water and water pressure are great. There are a lots of TV channels with movies in English, which is rare in Europe. The staff speaks excellent English and are helpful. All rooms are nonsmoking and smell nice and clean, but we had an issue with smoke coming from another floor one morning. The hotel is on one floor of a residential building, and there is a cat smell on the stairs, but NOT in the hotel. Overall, I had an excellent stay! Thanks!

The pictures on the hotels.com site was way more luxurious than the room we got. They were totally deceiving for me. I was disappointed when i saw the room. Secondly, the bed was making noises coming when you made a move even as slight as a butterfly landing on a pillow. Thirdly, the noise isolation was very poor. Lastly, the bathroom was smelling. Breakfast option was very poor, it should be removed from the room facilities list as \"breakfast available\" is also another deceiving term.
The location was very good for the money.

A comfortable stay

We were received well and had an overall good experience. The pedestrian shopping street is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. At the end of that street is the fortress with a beautiful lookout over the convergence of the Danube and Sava rivers.

You need to know that there is no elevator, and so climbing stairs is part of the experience here. (We were on the 4th floor (5th in the US) where the large room is.) Parking is in a public parking garage a few minutes walk away. I believe that we paid around 15€ for the approx. 12 hours.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The transfer to the airport was quick and cheap.
BUT:
No information about (breakfast/food options/ where to go for food) available to foreign travelers.
No kettle in the room even though there are cups.
No breakfast was offered.
My room door was repeatedly tried during the night to see if it was locked. As a solo female traveller it was really disconcerting.

Very nice hotel. Lots of parking across the street. The staff was very friendly to me and was helpful with questions I had. I was a little late for checkout and they were very accommodating. The shower had great water pressure and was so hot! I wish I was in Belgrade longer to enjoy more time at this hotel.

Hotel is in a great location, the hotel needs some updating. The chair was broken and almost fell backwards, but he rooms are a good size. Curtains are light, so one wakes up early due to sunshine. No lifts which was fine for us but a heads up for thos bringing lots of luggage.

When I first arrived I was shocked in s terrible negative way. Our room was on the fourth floor without an elevator which forced us to go up with heavy luggage. I told the receptionist that they advertise that a lie because it's not more than one star and they advertise 4 stars and she said that they advertise 3 stars and that you , hotel.com advertise 4 stars . also the room and the whole place was terribly dirty with an awful smell that made us want to throw up . we asked for our money back and she refused and we had to leave without the money because the place was so bad that we couldn't stay there for another minute . we expect that you give us our money back with an apology because you are responsible for my order and for false advertising. Iam waiting for an immediate answer.

we paid for the room in full before arriving and when we arrived at the hotel there was no one present at the front desk. We waited for half an hour and no one was there. I went out to take a walk and came back to see if someone was there since our luggage was in a taxi and we couldn't have them wait any longer. I eventually had to go on foot looking for an alternative hotel. I therefore paid double for that night's stay. When we came back to the hotel, after getting another room elsewhere, The woman at the front desk was very rude and told us she had to go out to do errands for the owner and had to leave her post; She didn't care that we waited so long and had to leave to look for another hotel. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is located in the centre of Belgrade. Entrance in hotel was not really promising. But, as soon as you come to the reception (which is very small), you meet very nice receptionist and it changes impression completely. Staff is pleasant, rooms very clean (although very small, which makes it not very comfortable).

The main pedestrian street is just around the corner so you can meet your friends or guides \"next to the horse\" in less than 5 minutes. The hotel has a very helpful staff; they will help you as much as they can. The rooms for singles are spacious enough. I stayed here for my first 4 days in Belgrade and came back after my 6 days journey thru the rest of Serbia. H. Terazije is also just 10 mins. (walking) from the Central Bus Station & when arriving or departing to the airport by bus, the stop for bus # 72 is just a block away. Great prize for what you get. I will definitely be back when I return to the \"white city\".

We had stay in this hotel in March 2015 during 12 days and we are very satisfied with our vocation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We was feeling home staying. Room was cozy and the furniture is rather modern. Price for such acccomodation is very good. Our room was cleaned regularly by our request. Just one recommendation - to put telephone in the room for the direct contact with Reception. We are strongly recommend this hotel and we wish to stay here during our next visit to Belgrade.

Quick stay in Belgrade, wouldn't actually call this a hotel, more like the 1st floor of a building with 7 bedrooms and ensuites. Having said that it was clean, easy to find, centrally located so is close to everything,fresh food market down the road near the bus stops even a Macca's for those who need it.
We were able to check in early as the room was avaiable anyway.
Bed head was a little shabby, other than that there is nothing negative to say.
Beware if using taxis make sure you get a cab that is visibly linked with a cab company or ask reception for advise who to use otherwise you WILL get ripped off.

Needed to stay in Belgrade overnight and wanted to be in walking distance of the bus station but also close to the centre for a choice of bars and restaurants. So this was a decent value choice if you just need somewhere to sleep overnight and no problems at all with any aspect of the stay.

The hotel is in a great location, just one street off the main street and a short walk to everything. We had a room fronting onto the main street and the window was open slightly when we arrived so I was immediately worried about the noise. However when we shut the double glazed window all noise ceased immediately and we spent a comfortable quiet night. Our room had two single beds, a large flat screen tv, a chair and table, wardrobe and bathroom. Both the main room and the bathroom were small but they had everything you need and the bathroom was super clean. The staff were super helpful, finding me an iphone charger when I realised I had left mine at home and a hairdryer the next morning, and then offering to fix the broken handle on our suitcase!

Hotel is new (first floor of older building (typical). Room quite small, but adequate. Bathroom excellent with a space age shower--never saw anything like it.. Internet poor--nearly unusable. Had to go out to bars to use their internet. Location could not be better--a 10 minute uphill walk from the main train/bus station--and right at the city centre.

Best Room in the Ho(s)tel

I'm not one who often writes reviews but given our experience thought I should put a 'realistic' perspective on the previous reviews.
The 'hotel' isn't really a hotel from the exterior. When we arrived we found it difficult to locate the entrance which is only advertised by two green signs on the building wall #covered with graffiti#. These directed you through a doorway between a convenience store and a shoe shop and into a stairwell with giant electricity cupboards. A further sign then directs you to the reception on the first floor. The room we stayed in was located on the third floor - the second floor of the building is a hostel. Unfortunately this means the backpackers often congregate to smoke and drink in the stairwell leading to the rooms.
The room itself was clean and nicely decorated with an LCD TV but no other amenities #including no coat hangers or safe#. The shower was amazing but the bathroom itself let down by the fact it had no ventilation so it smelt damp a lot of the time.
It wasn't all bad however. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The air conditioning in the room was efficient and quiet meaning it could be left on during the hot nights. When the Belgrade nightlife got too much, the TV did have english channels #sad, but this was a positive#! The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned daily.They have done a lot with the space they have. If want the best room in the hostel then this is the place for you!

Worst Hotel - Best Location

NOT AS IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURE !!

The hotel picture which is available on HOTELS.COM is not a picture of the hotel, it is a picture of Hotel MOSCOW which is right next to it !!!!!

We were pretty shocked when we saw the real hotel.
The rooms are very small, and I mean VERY small.
me and my wife couldn't even open our bags on the floor, we had to open one by one in the bathroom, there is no internal phone between the rooms, which coasted my extra when I called my friends in the upper room using ROAMING !!
They didn't clean the room or change the towels in the first 3 days until I had a big fight with them.
There is no lobby or restaurant. and the room doesn't have any of the basics that makes it a HOTEL ROOM.

The Location of the hotel is the best, compared to its price, though it is not a hotel, it is a HOSTEL of some kind !!!

I would never go there again, I prefer to go to a hostel which will be much cheaper and in the same location.

The hotel is located right in the city centre on the first floor of a building with shops on the ground floor and flats above. There's a Mini Maxi corner shop next to the entrance, which was convenient as breakfast is not available.

My single room was located right behind the reception desk. I needn't have worried about noise from there, as the staff were very quiet and otherwise helpful. The room overlooked a park though and some people gathered there in the evenings to talk, which resulted in a little bit noise.

The room was compact but had everything I needed, such air conditioning and a TV with lots of channels including many in English. The shower was very good and everything in the room was spotlessly clean.

A Must Stay

This hotel is perfect as it is reasonably priced and litereally right around the corner from the main shopping street which in turn leads to the park and citadel. The staff are beyond accomodating and really went out of their way to help us in any way even though we did not ask. The rooms vary in size but they are all very clean and have a classical style appeal to them. Right next to the hotel is a small market store which was convenient and as mentioned you are placed right square in the middle of anything and everything you would want to do while in Belgrade. Highly recommend this hotel.

Vila Terazjie in Belgrade

Vila Terazjie is a very nice budget accomodation in the heart of Belgrade. The rooms are clean, the shower is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is not a typical hotel, in the sense that does not have a lounge, but it consists of two floors of a building which have been converted in rooms, so do not expect breakfast in the morning! The building is old and charming.

I am very sorry that I experienced such a disgrace in my first overseas experience, the rooms are very cold, the shower flows, the whole toilet stays in the water when you enter the shower, we are also very respectful to the hotel owner, my advice to those who will definitely not come, I was constantly telling Ms. maya not to enter our room, she ripped out our rug ( heater ) that we left on top of her, opened our windows to the end in this cold weather and ventilated the room ( weather forecast -4 ) ( without our permission ), entered our room and all the wrong situations the fact that he took and sent photos ( which he saw incorrectly ), I only exchanged messages with mrs. maya during my entire vacation , the door of my friends' rooms is not locked properly and the door handle is broken , I do not recommend visitors , mrs. maya is very disrespectful, she is a woman who never respects people's privacy , and I am very sincere , it was the worst experience I have had so far , thank you

Because of the hotel’s location, sightseeing was very comfortable. I had no problems at all in terms of cleanliness, safety, or communication. The room had both air conditioning and heating, so I didn’t have any issues staying warm. Thanks to the hotel’s location, whenever I felt cold outside, I could easily come back, rest comfortably, and then continue exploring. I would definitely recommend it with peace of mind.

The location is perfect, you can walk all around, and reach most attractions by bus! Remember, all public transportation in Belgrade is free of charge, including airport, receptionist was very kind, overall good value for money

The hotel is quite close to the heart of the city. You can walk to the Republic Square in 5 minutes. The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean. The only bad part is there is no one at the reception. Even for check in, there wasn’t anyone. They leave the key on door lock and give you the password for the main door. When I bought the room, I thought there was a luggage room. But since there is no one, I wasn’t able to ask for the luggage room. I went to the hotel where my parents stay and left my luggage there for the last day. If I hadn’t that chance, I would have to pay for lockers in the city centre. So when you book the room, bear this in mind.

Fint rum men det saknas grejer, finns bättre alt.

Inget kylskåp i rummet, ingen hårtork, ingen hiss. Inga muggar om man vill fixa eget kaffe. Bara två glas och en vattenkokare. Det finns ingen lobby utan bara en liten hall på 6 kvm med reception och massa dörrar runt om kring(rummen). På första våningen med rum 1-7 typ, övriga rum finns på våning tre, emellan på våning två finns bostäder eller nåt. Ok för tre dagar och väldigt bra läge men betalar hellre lite mer för lite bättre.
