Though Expedia should do better as a 3rd party by communicating to customers specific conditions and amenities. We are so lucky that Bayview Resort help us a lot. :)

Older motel style low buildings Not a RESORT

While the owner was nice and the room interiors were fairly clean, most of this property is not how it appears in the photos. Most of the small size rooms are in low single story wood structures probably from the 1960s - think of an old highway motel. The interiors were redecorated in the last few years, but the property is cramped and not anything that qualifies as a \"Resort\" and \"Bayview\" is only practical from the few rooms on a 2nd level.

I had a late check in, so i wasn't able to see much of the property. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked.
When i exited the next morning, I was greeted by a stunning view of the Hamptons back bays at sunrise. The grounds by the bay were peaceful and beautiful.. my only regret was that I couldn't stay any longer to enjoy the property or its amenities.
I would gladly return.

Our room hand sand on the floor and the mats from the previous guest. The TV was also broken as if someone threw an object at it. The TV would turn itself on and off at random times. Beautiful location though and the staff was very nice and always checking in via text. If you just need a place to sleep this is a good location.

Took a chance on a last minute two night family getaway and I am so glad we did. Check in could not have been faster and kinder, shout out to Daren you are a treasure of a human!
It’s a really cute, updated motel/hotel, the grounds are beautiful and clean as are the rooms. Compared to other places like this, this was absolutely more spacious and had more amenities. Deck, and sand area were great to hangout on, we played some games and had a blast.
Day one we hung around at the pool and did the generous $10 beach pass from the Bayview the 2nd day and spent a great day at the beach.

You need a car here in order to go to local resturants, coffee places (although there is morning coffee in the communal lounge and a coffee maker in the room)

Mini fridge and microwave was a huge help with young kids.

They really make this place easy to be a guest at, are happy to give extra towels and everyone was super friendly.

If anyone is complaining here I would not understand why.

We will be back!

As they say “you can put lipstick on a pig”. Very rundown and dirty/unsanitary. Clogged sinks, toilets that don’t flush, PAPER thin walls (I could hear my neighbors breathe), and the pool was filthy and covered in goose poop and feathers. Extremely rude/unfriendly staff who literally knocked down our door at 11AM to leave (it was 11:01) and then called 40 minutes later saying they were charging us $50 for the keys that we accidentally packed when we were being rushed out. It is an affordable place, so you get what you pay for.

One of the reasons I liked the Resort was it had its on dock you were able to sit out and watch the water it was relaxing. It was clean didn't smell musky. Otherwise in my opinion it shouldn't be called an Resort because it don't have any Resort things Like a bar or entertainment . No room service. The parking is very small it is hard to get out of your parking space. It test your driving abilities.

They certainly did their best updating the rooms. They were clean and comfortable. However, the outside of the buildings, although in good shape, show their age. We were there in high season and paid a ridiculous amount of money for what we got. Parking is about 15 feet from each door, so you will hear people coming and going all the time, right outside your window. The breakfast offered was skimpy and limited. Don't count on much. I should mention, though, that view from the deck at the end of the property was beautiful, and chairs were provided.

Ill be honest it didnt look like much when we pulled up, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was not what we had expected. Very modern decor, and very VERY clean! Comfortable king size bed. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Very central location making it roughly 15 mins or less to several good restaurants, convenience store/grocery/ pharmacy, and the beach.
Honestly the only complaint we had to ourselves was the one lane to go in and out, along all the parked cars, and not having a bigger area to turn around to drive out. Other than that the place was great!

The room is pretty-front desk asked if we wanted housekeeping the next day. We were staying only 2 nights so we just asked for fresh towels- never received. After we checked in we called front desk that cable kept freezing. We were told someone would come. No one came, nor did we get a phone call or knock on our door with an update. It was never mentioned when we checked out. Very poor customer service.

The property was nice and kept well and peaceful. But the staff and rooms i cannot say the same i paid alot of money for my stay and was given a room with a dirty floor that made our feet black then i needed a cot was charged 30$ extra for my daughter which was fine until the roll away collapsed and it wasnt funny we gad no where for hwe to sleep and no staff on site to take care of the problem so disappointed. They take a 200 on yr card for incidentals but when u need som3one they dont get back to you I emailed the manager and never got a response back not cool!

My husband and I brought our two teenage daughters here and were unfortunately VERY unhappy with our stay.
1. Lack of cleanliness was a big issue. We had to change rooms due to this fact and had issues in the new room as well. Previous guests garbage still under sink, wet TP and kleenex from rain which was an issue in the previous room with a dirty bathroom floor as well.
2. The breakfast runs from 8am-9:30am and when we arrived at 9:05am, there was no one there running it and most items had not been replenished.
3. Later that day at 1:30pm, we went to the clubhouse to eat sandwiches we got elsewhere and the area was still dirty from breakfast.
4. The motel is very rigid with pricing, changes and utilizing services. We had to sign off re: many possible penalties and charges before checking in. We had to go to the office to sign out beach towels and if not returned would have to pay $25 each. For the price we paid, these amenities should have been easily accessible and provided.
5. We were highly overcharged for this motel. We had tried to book directly through the hotel once we saw the prices were cheaper (over 14 days before our arrival) and Hotels.com was very helpful in trying to allow this change. Unfortunately, the Bayview Resort would not allow any changes. We paid WAY more than the motel accommodations, service, cleanliness were worth and it was a very upsetting experience for us during our vacation.

Nice little up-scale motel. Friendly owners. Great coffee pods (usually my least favorite part of a stay). We didn’t get to experience all of the amenities (kayaks etc.) but I would definitely come back. Just be aware that checking in after 8p requires communication about how to get in your room.

Although I was there for work, I had some free time so used one of their kayaks for a quick paddle. You can launch right from their property into the bay! we return to this property & will continue. Its got everything we need and is a great location. Beach passes, kayaks, firepit, nice pool, plenty of outdoor seating, gym. Room was fine and I love the microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker & sink-so convenient.!! Wish pillows were thicker and there were 3 in the room for 2 of us-we easily could have asked for more but the office closes at 8pm. I will remember for next time. Staff are so very nice.

Bayview was a wonderful hotel, the staff was friendly and considerate. The room and common areas were clean and the cleaning staff took a lot of pride in their work. Immaculate view of the bay from both the deck of our 2nd story room as well as the common deck on the water. Pool was clean and warm. There were a lot of families with kids there, which although it is not my preference, was nice to see. 10/10 would stay again!

Here's the place to relax

This was the most relaxing time we had on our busy two week vacation. Very nice room with parking right outside it's door. Free use of kayaks on the bay and bicycling around the neighborhood. Pool next to the bay and nice deck to watch sunrise/sunset. Staff took care of our requests immediately. We were able to get a beach pass for only $5, otherwise you would have to pay $30 to park. We loved our time there and would stay again.

I paid so much money and was disappointed that that included breakfast was not happening. So we had to go out for breakfast every day and pay a lot more money. The staff was really nice and the setting was lovely. The parking was interesting. Unfortunately, our shower did not work as well as the bathtub. Most of the water came out from the bottom no matter what we did to pull up the lever. I absolutely love being able to use the kayak and canoe whenever it was daylight and their office was open
