The property is on a beautiful site. However, the site needs repair and updating. For example, the outdoor plastic lounge chairs are broken and brittle. Beach was nice for only a short time per day. Pool was nice. Problems with weathered infrastructure mostly wood rot. Room was fair. Walk to downtown/port was hot and dirty strewn with lots of litter. Beautiful views of the water.

I booked a two bedroom suite, the living too small, and all the suite locate on the side. I highly recommend book basic room, because it is better view. Breakfast is good.

Enjoyed My friends an I had a great time. The resort has an awesome beach area.The breakfast was good the grounds area cleaned up every day. The resort looks older but kept well. Enjoyed my self and would stay there again.

They did not have the room I reserved available the first of my four nights and made me walk to another hotel in the rain. It cost me three times what I paid them and they would not cover my expense claiming they were charging a higher price and Expedia was wrong. Avoid like the plague.

Once I imagine this was a lovely resort, unfortunately the grounds are dirty and it looks as if an update was attempted but never completed. It also is about a 25 minute walk in to town for restaurants etc. The beach is not inviting - more a harbour. We did however hire a scooter and found many beautiful beaches. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Hyggelige bungalows med fælles pool og adgang lige ned til rolig ren strand. Bungalows er enkle men rene og der er hvad man har brug for. Fin udsigt fra alle bungalows. Ok morgenmad med både thailandske og vestlige retter. Ligger i et øde område uden så meget at tage sig til andet end at slappe af ved pool og strand, men man kan gå ind til byen på ca tyve minutter eller tage en tuktuk til 200 bath, hvis man trænger til restauranter, butikker, massage eller liv.

Wir hatten das Deluxe 2 Single room. Der Ausblick zum Strand und der Anlage waren super. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal war super nett. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es Continental- und Thai Frühstück. Beides sehr gut. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr gut. Der hoteleigene Strand und der Nachbarstrand waren super. Wer hier Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Den Weg in den nächsten Ort schafft man in 20 min., auch am Abend sehr gut beleuchtet. Man kann aber auch auf örtliche Transportmittel zurückgreifen, die auch nicht teuer sind. Sehr gutes lokales Essen in dem Ort.
Supermärkte und viele kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants gibt es dort. Ich würde gerne nochmal hierherkommen, da die Insel nicht sehr groß ist und man vieles zu Fuß/ Transportmittel erreichen kann. 2.5 Std. Fahrzeit mit dem Taxi von Bangkok.

Enkelt, slitet men okej. Men det är rent och bra städat. Frukosten var ingen höjdare alls. Ligger väldigt avsides så man behöver hyra moped om man inte gör som oss ( familj 2 vuxna 3 barn) och tar ”taxi” som kostar 200 bath enkel resa. Poolen och stranden vid hotellet testade vi inte.

Das Restaurant ist mässig eingerichtet und das Personal ist bemüh, den Gästen alles Recht zu machen. Nun leider verstehen sie so gut wie gar keine Fremdsprache.

Ett slitet hotell, med hyfsad utsikt och en strand som fungerar om man inte vill åka till någon av de större, och bättre stränderna en liten bit från färjeläget. Den sk. matsalen var hemsk, det enda som hjälpte upp det var utsikten. Se upp för trapporna som leder upp till stugorna, det svajar när man går i trapporna. Är man beredd att betala extra för trasiga solstolar så är hotellet helt ok. Fortsätt vägen förbi hotellet och på högersida finns ett annat litet trevligt hotell med bra mat och trevlig personal.

Bodde 4 nätter och var nöjd med vistelsen. Rummet var trevligt, rent och funktionellt med en egen altan med havsutsikt. Stranden var fin och det gick att vara med sandbotten både vid hög och lågvatten. Matsalen och dess utrustning var lite mer av skolmatsals kvalitet än hotellrestaurang. Frukosten OK och den mat vi beställde var god, men bord stolar, bestick mm var lågprisstil.
Personalen vänlig och trevlig. Läget innebar promenad avstånd till båtpiren och det fanns mopeduthyrning några hundra meter från hotellet. En lugn strand utan röj och många restauranger. Med moped är det lätt att ta sig runt på ön.

Für ein paar Tage okay - länger aber nicht
Die Bungalows sind recht klein und sie sind schon etwas abgenutzt. Es gibt ausser einer Kleiderstange kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten so das man weitgehend \"aus dem Koffer\" leben muss.Zimmersafe, Kühlschrank (bis auf zwei Flaschen Wasser zum Selbstauffüllen) sowie WiFi (recht schwach und langsam) sowie ein Flachbild-TV sind vorhanden.Frühstücksbüffet besteht zur Hälfte aus Thai-Gerichten aber es gibt auch Toast, Croissants, Marmelade, Müsli und Joghurt. Für ein paar Tage ist es okay. Kaffee ist wie in Thailand meistens kaum genießbar.
Die Lage ist recht abseits - ohne Motorbike eher nicht zu empfehlen (Motorradverleih ist im Hotel vorhanden).
Die Außenanlagen könnten besser gepflegt sein - unter den Bungalows stehen noch Reste von Baumaterialen aus der Bauphase herum

Två dagar på Koh Samed.
Hotellet ligger jättefint på en sluttning, med egen strand. Men vi visste ju att den \"fina\" stranden ligger på andra sidan. Så när vi installerat oss tog vi taxi dit, där var vi resten av dagen och kvällen. Så även efter frukost dag 2, perfekt strandliv med flera matställen och små butiker. Vi konstaterade att det var rätt bra ändå att vi bodde där vi bodde, eftersom vi hade småbarn med oss, och inte var där för att \"parta\". Så vill man sova i lugn och ro, utan massa musik och rop och skrik som stör, så är Samed Cliff Resort bra, dock tycker vi att det är för dyrt för sin standard.
